2018 Genesis G80 review
I bought a G80 3.3T 2018 I love the car, it’s spacious, comfortable, love the get up and go, love the power and speed. I checked the reviews and they were for the most part very good and I decided to jump. The car has given me a couple of problems, driver side door wouldn’t open and driver side turbo leaking oil. A few weeks ago my son and I bought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata at CarMax of Southlake on Mt. Zion Road in Stockbridge GA. Our sales agent was an older gentleman named Jim Lowe. What a nice guy. Low key. Not pushy. So very patient. He was very knowledgeable about the various cars my son wanted to look at and understood what features he needed on the car. He never rushed us to get on to the next customer and was always willing to answer all our questions. (And he even knew the answers and didn’t have to go ask someone.) These are attributes that you don’t always find with used car salesmen. But Jim was different. CarMax is different. Such a large selection of cars that we found and with low or mid or high mileage. The financial process was painless as well. We went outside to go get his car and found it all washed and cleaned inside. It even had a full tank of gas and a HUGE yellow bow across the hood. Such a nice way to send off the customer. I highly recommend CarMax for your next car buying experience. Also, ask for Jim.

2023 Genesis Electrified GV70 review
It is an incredible electric vehicle. It has plenty of great features and one of the best looking interiors of any vehicle on the market. It is much more luxurious than most EVs and the only drawback is that the range is only 236 miles but you can recharge it in 18 mins on a super charger.

2025 Genesis GV70 review
A confirmed luxury small SUV with fit and finish of a German vehicle. Ergonomics as the driver is spot on. The menu can be just a bit confusing but you acclimate quickly. Steering and nimbleness is very good for an SUV. The 2.5 T was not my first choice but it is actually responsive and perky. If I could only get used to the squeal of a 4 cylinder. Interior is luxurious but advanced package is a must. Opt for the 6 cylinder if you can but it is not a game changer.

2021 Genesis GV80 review
Overpriced but definitely Superior comfort and exquisite styling. Some obvious shortcomings from a design and Engineering standpoint. One in particular that drives me crazy is the poor design and functionality of the gas cap area. I cannot believe a vehicle in 2023 with a price tag of around $80,000 does not have a locking mechanism on the gas cap cover and the fact that you have to push to open it from the outside, as well as the cheap feel and Design Within, is mind blowing and very disappointing

2023 Genesis G70 review
Coming out of a 2003 vehicle (Jaguar X-type) & getting behind the wheel of a 2023 model was a startling transition. Even though my CPO G70 is a base model (2.0T/AWD) it’s like piloting a space craft! I love this car! And with all of the safety & convenience features, it feels like it cares for me as well. The performance, ride & handling are exemplary. In the spirit of complete transparency, here are a few nits. - The gas mileage isn’t class leading & requiring premium gas adds to the cost of operation. Solution? Tame your right foot! Acceleration is quite lively. - The rear seats are tight for large people & the trunk space is merely adequate (a pass-through rear center seat is quite helpful). But keep in mind, this the smallest model in the lineup. If you need more space, there’s the G80. - Finally, I’m still sorting out some of the infotainment features (which didn’t exist in 2003!). Let me finish by praising the service departments. Without question the best experience I’ve had, up there with M-B & exceeding Jaguar.

2023 Genesis GV80 review
I have owned many cars over the years and this GV80 is by far the best car I have ever owned. Ride, comfort and handling are outstanding after 9 months of ownership and almost 10,000 miles. You can drive this car for hours and when you get out you are not tired or stiff. The sound system is excellent and the navigation system updates rapidly for road conditions.

2024 Genesis GV70 review
Great car. It has too many amenities to mention. The only downside is the dealership is not prepared with a good service department, so we were mandated to seek another. The car is great around town and also on the Highway. This is our 4th Genesis, so that should say it all.

2023 Genesis G70 review
Car is fun to drive, great mileage, nice performance, comfortable on the highway. Only negative is the smaller trunk but since both back seats fold down it is ok as there are only two of us in the family. This is my second genesis and they are great cars.

I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted to test drive and had an appointment with Jean (John) Venant on December 27th. The car (2024 Mazda CX-5) was waiting for me when we arrived. Our salesman was a great guy & seemed knowledgeable about my particular vehicle. It didn't take me long to decide to buy the car on the spot. Baltimore in the financing department fought very hard to get me the best rate/deal available. They even gave me far more for my trade in that I was anticipating. Everyone throughout the (seemingly painless) process was great to work with. We felt very valued. My only "complaint" is the sticker shock I had when I saw all the "dealer fees" on the bill of sale. Many things (window tint, fabric protector, etc) were all things that you only typically see when buying a brand new car and not when buying a used car. And, with any used car purchase, I made sure to get the extended warranty. That's just smart no matter which dealership you buy from. However, I am concerned a bit to read very mixed reviews of the EasyCare warranty company, as it seems they only approve HALF of the claims submitted. Fingers crossed.
2025 Genesis GV80 review
Owned the GV80 for 6 months, the smaller engine is plenty. The ride is better than my 2018 Lexus rx350L. Only draw back navigation good be better.

2026 Genesis GV80 review
Test drove many cars. I had a BMW x6 nice car. Test drove Mercedes GLE 350 and Lexus GX 350h but great cars. Of course Lexus mpg is great. But the 2.5 Prestige Genesis ride is amazing. The amenities included are far more than others. Massage seats are a pleasure and very comfortable. Yes not a sports car but it’s still 300 hp. Plus 3 years free maintenance and the warranty is much better. I hope it keeps meeting my expectations.

Plain and simple its a great s.u.v. , people notice this vehicle and I have had many good comments about it. Strangers have come up to me and asked if its a Bentley . Wow
