2019 GMC Canyon review
Bought this truck new in 2019. It came down to me test driving it then test driving a 2019 Taco. Trust me for nearly the same size v6 the Taco was underpowered. In no way could it compare to my Canyon in ride or performance. Also the best mileage you can get with a Taco on the highway is 19mpg and it's a smaller truck. I can get anywhere from 27 to 29 in my canyon because it will turn off 2cyl on the highway when you're coasting. This is an awesome truck and I'm happy I didn't listen to my friends.

2019 GMC Canyon review
Have a 19 4x4 SLT Short Box. Lifted 4" w/ 20" rims and decent all purpose tires. With the relatively short wheelbase and the slight lift, I've never had a 4WD that handles everything so easily, including the worst mountain trails. Have owned for 3 years now and have not had any problem other than a dead battery. The interior is average, but in a utility/4WD that gets mud, dog fur and camping fallout, who cares. My prior SUV was an 04 Avalanche 4x4. Cool truck but bad gas mileage and impossible to park in tight city lots. The Canyon is perfect size, easy to handle and with a couple minor mods pushes 350 hp.

I have been casually looking for a car, and there was a car that was on my list of cars that were acceptable. I looked on the website, someone reached out to me. So, I drove up to the dealership, which, by the way, is in OKC even though it feels like you must surely be in New Mexico. This was the most delightful car purchase of my entire adult life. The salesman, Joseph, was a dream to deal with, not at all obnoxious and insulting, which has been my experience in several states. He was kind and while we waited for paperwork to move through the system, we chatted about books. Darcy, who handled all the paperwork was a dream, she even gave me crackers out of her desk when I said I was getting hungry. Overall, if you need a car, you should go to this car dealership. You will not be disappointed. There are not enough words for me to say nice things about these people. Go buy a car from Jim Norton Toyota.

The highlight of their response to an urgent situation was when the operator immediately understood the crisis and put me through to someone I thought was a randomly picked employee--but turned out to be Michael, the Operations Manager in charge of pretty much everything. He said he was going to physically start walking around Klaben in order to work things out for me. Wow. I asked him to roll me to Sean Klaben, service manager. As usual, Sean immediately worked with people and tech to get things sorted out. Long story short: Klaben is going to be there for you---no matter what the trouble is. When you need them, they will deliver. Go buy a car over there and you will see I'm right.
2019 GMC Canyon review
This baby 2.8L Duramax is much quieter than one would expect. While it won't throw you into the back of the seat it drives along just fine and rolls at highway speed with no issues. MPG is so very good and the ride and style are pleasing. Next generation should have Home link garage door opener , keyless pushbutton start, power seatback, memory seats Small issues, but would normally be on the Denali. Overall it is a great truck that fits in my garage.
