I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

READ PLEASE I love my Terrain. DO NOT get the 1.5 L. My engine has barely made it over 100,000 I have had $6k of repairs in less than a year. Things keep going wrong now. I had NO issues before. Catalytic converter went out 75-85k miles. My turbo was just replaced. Just beware of this type of engine… every mechanic that worked on it shared this is not uncommon for this type. I would definitely get another terrain but not the 1.5!

I love my 2012 Lacrosse and will not take her to any other dealer for service. Bought the car CPO in summer 2021 with 38k miles. Now being summer 2024 with 90k miles and I’ve mostly had good luck with the car and its components. I have the extended warranty through 100k miles but I feel like all American cars are built to fail after the warranty runs out. Overall great car: I have the 2.0L turbo engine with 9 speed auto and AWD. AWD is great when turned on, grips the road well, and to be honest the 2.0L has a TON of power; way more than you need for a compact SUV! I had a quick issue around 65k miles where the service traction control and stability light came on for 15 minutes. Dismissed itself and haven’t had an issue since. At 75k miles, it was during the winter time, the car would display “park break realized” and “service traction control” when the auto start stop would kick back on (there’s no way to shut off the auto start/stop system). No issues and lights but the messages would pop up and dismiss themselves. Little did I know it was my battery dying and my mechanic said “some wires were loose” and he tightened them up. Haven't had an issue since I got a new battery. Last thing that happens is sometimes when you have Apple CarPlay going and you unplug the phone, the infotainment system will freeze and no Bluetooth, usb, or CarPlay will work for the reming duration of the ride unless you stop the car and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Simply shutting it off and turning it back on never worked. Overall I give this car a good rating for 0-100k miles. I am pleased with the car but looking for something bigger soon. I think I did overpay a bit for it ($30k for 38k miles) since I got it summer of 2021 when new cars were nonexistent!

I have owned 5 of the 2018-19 terrains. I have had the 1.5 gas, 2.0 gas and the 1.6 diesel. The power on the 2.0 is awesome. Mileage on the 1.5 is good. Mileage on the 1.6 diesel is great. I have 336,000 miles on my diesel. It has had lots of issues due to emissions and transmissions. Last week it got a new engine as well. The car is a great car but I would recommend the 1.5 gas for most people. The terrain is comfortable and makes a great work or travel vehicle. Size is easy to park with plenty of leg room.

Today I had the best experience by far at Kia of Streetsboro! Angel Gonzalez and Jacob made my day!! Not only did they get me in a new car but they helped me through some difficulties that I was having dealing with GAP and insurance after my car was totaled

The GMC Terrain is a very dependable auto that I have had no issues. The model is the AT4, which has the headsup display. Interior is nice with leather and all the electronics options.

Salesman had car ready and went out of his way to go over all the new controls especially how to navigate all the touch screen control features

I bought this vehicle used over a year ago with 99 k miles on it. Other than routine maintenance; oil changes, brakes and filters it has performed well. Very comfortable ride, roomy and comfortable interior, features and options are numerous with lane departure side and frontal spacing warnings, back up camera, sun roof and roof rack, blue tooth and more. I don't understand the negative reviews as I am pleased with this vehicle.

I have owned my Terrain for 3 months now, and am absolutely in love with it. Super smooth, great pick up, and I get a lot of complements on both the exterior and interior design. I average 26.3 MPG city and highway combined, which is not bad considering I live in Florida so my AC is never off in the car.

I had my 2020 Terrain for 5 years before I had any major issues out of it. My brake booster needed replaced. After about a month of it being out the shop someone hit and totaled it. Very sad day. I love my Terrain

This wasn't the vehicle I'd gone to the lot to see... But it was parked 2 vehicles down, and the price was $3000 cheaper!! It even has more bells and whistles than the Toyota I'd initially planned on getting. Awesomeness!!

Our team member Joe Z went above and beyond for us. He was AMAZING with our daughter, making sure she felt that she was part of our buying process. He even shared his snacks with her lol she had mentioned she was getting hungry (we were there around 5pm) so he was quick to go get drinks and snacks. We are THANKFUL for Joe Z. Our 2021 Terrain SLT is really a nice auto. Gets great 30 MPG approximately, But, 0 to 60 is lacking horsepower. Great Little highway auto. Comfortable.....
