D'Arcy HyundaiReviews
D'Arcy Hyundai review
First time i actually had a good experience at a dealership. I bought our last cars at two different kia dealers before and about blew my top and probably should have walked out. We got my wife a new elantra at Darcy and we got a reasonable trade in offer and the new car at a reasonable price and got a good loan. Jimmy was cool kept things relaxed. If i replace my car at some point I’ll probably come here. Only complaint was the detail the must have used a dirty or rough cloth hood may need a little buff.
2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
The quality of a MK7.5 is fantastic, even with a few years out the MK7 Platform does hold up great, people who take care of this car can see that this Generation whole from the MK7.0 to the MK7.5 design is on Peak, best designed Golf ever made. Driveability: the MK7 platform acomplishes it’s purpose depending on the model you get in my Case is the GTI, very sporty stiffer suspension than the Regular Goof it pays off the driving feel on spirited driving, confort mode comes with the vehicles with Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) it’s pretty comfortable for what you get, it is not a Passat this is a Golf GTI inspired to be Sporty Manual transmission, it’s a great transmission, with practice you can have a very comfortable driving experience or a lot of fun on spirited driving. This is the best car I have ever owned since new, I don’t beat on it much and I do ALL my maintenances on time or before time depending by mileage or time from the Owners Manual. It is a lot of fun to drive And it’s highly modifiable as by just doing a good set up for the intake can make the car sound and behave a little bit different, with a short shifter kit can also change the personality of the car driving it. With some cool body mods such as OEM+ can really change the looks of the vehicle. I love this car and I’ll be keeping it for a long time.

I went to different dealerships looking for a car wasn’t satisfied with the experience. I was recommended to see Issac Moushi at Golf Mill Ford. I made an appt. He came to meet me on his day off. I was very impressed that he took time out of his day to meet me. He is an Amazing sales person he went out of his way to meet my expectations. I bought the car and had the Best Experience with him!! I will be recommending him to everyone who wants to buy a car. I also had had a great experience with Luis Velazquez has patients of a saint. He sat with me and explained how to use the apps in my car. He was very patient knowing that I was not good with technology. I left Golf Mill Ford very happy. 2026 Honda Civic review
This is my third Civic and I believe it is the best one yet. The 2 Liter engine is smooth and powerful. The cabin noise is low and its handling very sporty. All the new safety features, like lane watch, blind spot warnings and rear back up camera really work well. The air conditioning is stronger too. A pleasure to drive. I recommend the hatch back.

If you’re looking for a Jeep, don’t hesitate to reach out to Jason at Hawk Jeep! This was my fourth lease with Stellantis, and this experience was by far the best one yet. Since I was driving from about an hour away, Jason worked with me to finalize the deal seamlessly via email. He got me into the exact car I inquired about at a payment I was genuinely happy with. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, everything was ready to go—I was literally in the showroom for minutes, not the typical hours! The car was detailed beautifully, the showroom was new and clean, and the rest of the staff were exceptionally polite and welcoming. Jason was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Thanks, Jason!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Communication and Professionalism!"I had a fantastic experience interacting with the team at Jidd Motors while looking for a vehicle for my daughter. From the very first inquiry, their response to my information requests about the car was incredibly quick, detailed, and professional.Natalie in communication was excellent—she kept me updated every step of the way and was completely upfront and honest about the vehicle's status before we made the long 2-hour drive out to the lot. Even though the specific car we were tracking wound up selling right after the busy holiday weekend, I deeply appreciated their honesty and high-level customer service. They saved us a wasted trip and treated us with total respect over text. I would highly recommend reaching out to them if you value great communication!"

My car salesman Lanny Lancaster did a phenomenal job! He made the experience stress free for my very stressed out self! He made sure that my car had everything a girl could dream off! From the moment I walked in, Lanny went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience possible. He was very friendly, funny, and easy to talk to. He made buying a car feel exciting and not stressful at all. His great personality really stood out and made the whole experience better. I would highly recommend Lanny Lancaster!

The Honda Superstore of Joliet review
We just purchased a 2018 Honda CRV from the Joliet Honda dealership. We received outstanding service all the way around. Our salesperson was Chris, who was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. He explained everything fully and made sure to answer all of our questions. He sat with us in our car and made sure we understood all the features and even gave demonstrations. It was a very pleasant experience and Chris made it low stress!
2026 Honda Civic review
Positive Points Exceptional Fuel Efficiency: The hybrid powertrain delivers outstanding gas mileage, registering highly competitive figures for city and highway driving without the need to plug in.Engaging Handling: The car offers a dynamic and fun-to-drive experience, featuring sharp steering, a stable suspension, and excellent road grip.Spacious Cabin and Cargo: The interior provides ample room for passengers, and the trunk capacity—especially in the hatchback configuration—ensures high practicality for daily use.Solid Reliability and Safety: It maintains Honda's strong reputation for durability, backed by high crash-test ratings and a comprehensive suite of standard active safety systems.Intuitive Technology: The dashboard features a responsive, easy-to-use infotainment system paired with high-quality, tactile physical buttons for essential climate and audio controls.Negative Points Intrusive Cabin Noise: Wind and road noise are noticeably loud inside the cabin, particularly at highway speeds or when equipped with factory sports tires.Premium Pricing: The initial cost is noticeably higher than many of its direct competitors in the compact sedan and hatchback segment.Underpowered Base Powertrain: The standard non-hybrid engine feels slow, and the continuously variable transmission (CVT) can deliver a dull, uninspiring acceleration experience.Missing Basic Amenities: It lacks a physical spare tire—providing only a fix-a-flat repair kit—and lower trim levels are missing standard features expected at this price point.Stiff Seating on Long Drives: The front seats are firm and lack proper lumbar support, which can lead to physical discomfort during extended trips.

The Audi Exchange Highland Park review
Hey Scott is the reason I keep coming here this man knows how to make you feel welcome and even after you buy your car he stays in contact for any question. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Juan the salesmen who went to bat for me to get the best car and APR with Vic(more on him later) he was awesome with the same welcoming and wanting to make sure I was happy the same attitude as Scott. Vic and Robert not grumpy guys in an office but laid back, fun and they really worked hard to make sure my deal was the best and safe financially. If you have not been to Audi exchange in Highland Park,Il then you bought your car at the wrong place. In my professional life I am call a subject matter expert in oncology but this organization and their fellow colleagues are subject matter experts in treating ppl outstandingly and wanting to make you happy not just put you in a car. Take it from me a 2x car buyer at Audi Exchange of Highland Park,IL….run there now if you gone yet

The Team Toyota staff, Amyla and Amelia were great to work with. They were knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend Team Toyota. CP
2025 Toyota Prius review
There’s a lot of negative stuff in this review. Be that as it may, I’m happy with the car. Toyota revamped the Prius design for 2025. I was one of the few who liked the previous “space capsule” look - the new one looks a lot like a Tesla 3. It’s fine; not terribly distinctive, but sleek and attractive. I get compliments. They tweaked the mileage with this design, and I know exactly how: it’s smaller. I can’t reach into the rear seat footwell by putting my arm between the seat and the wall; zero room. I can’t rest my elbow on the window sill and place my hand along the top of the window; too short. There’s no glasses holder at the top of the windshield. (And there’s no rear-window wiper. Pretty annoying, but at highway speed the slipstream keeps it clear.) The center console requires that the driver be a contortionist if they hope to use it while driving; and the compartment itself is quite small. I often misjudge how to slip into a parking slot because I sit so much closer to the edge of the car than in previous Prii. All that said, I like it. Mileage is, indeed, good. The ride is comfy, though I’ve never owned a cushy car. I’ve never much liked the steering on the Prius (this is my third), and it feels vague and disconnected, but it’s serviceable. It’s low to the ground, and the driver’s position is low relative to the windows - first car I’ve ever needed a cushion to raise me up to where I could see well enough not to regularly be running over curbs in turns. I use *two* cushions! Never before. The complete suite of safety features is great. I believe that I (and others in the road) are safer for them. Connection with my iPhone is usually seamless. As with most cars, the multitude of computer options can be daunting and frustrating, but a conference with the manual and/or a search engine usually sets things right. Pick-up is actually pretty decent! I feared that my first Prius (2006 I think) would get me run over by a truck if I ever needed to scoot out of the way - very little scooting was available. That’s much better now. And unlike so many other people, I don’t really think about gas prices. On those exceptional trips (mostly downhill, I assume) when I get to my destination and read “Average mileage: 67 MPG” or even 82 rare occasions, I chuckle to myself.

Continental Toyota review
I had an incredible experience purchasing a car here! My sales agent, Ahmad, truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. He was kind, patient, professional, and transparent, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. He was very supportive and worked hard to make everything fit my needs. I really appreciated how approachable, honest, and helpful he was every step of the way. Everyone at Continental Toyota was excellent to work with when purchasing my new vehicle. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming from start to finish. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend Continental Toyota to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
2024 Toyota Prius Prime review
It's a fantastic vehicle, both inside and out. I get about 30-50 electric miles depending on whether I do freeway or side-street driving, what the outdoor temperature is, if I have AC on, etc. I get 50-60 mpg when the engine turns on. It gets to freeway speeds really fast in sport mode, but I normally stay on eco/normal mode - normal mode has more than enough power for my needs. Interior features lack the extra toys from the XSE and Premium trims, but I can live without them. Trunk space is adequate with the folding cover attached and only slightly better without it due to the sloped rear exterior. But I've never had a problem with trunk space since folding down the seats grants more than enough room for my needs. Cabin space is decent. No one in my family and friend group is over 182 cm tall so all of them can fit with ample head and leg room. I have no complaints with the handling, even at higher speeds. It's smooth, but outside noise does get a bit loud especially when the engine turns on. Charging is a tad over nine hours if using a standard 110v/120v L1 charger, and half that with a 220v/240v L2 charger. The Prius Prime is not built to handle DC charging, so don't bother with that. EV mode is good for up to 55 mph or so, and HV mode is good for speeds beyond that. The sweet spot speed for HV mode seems to be around 65-72 mph. Beyond that and efficiency takes a nosedive. The Prius Prime, or any plug-in hybrid (PHEV), isn't for everyone. It's the best of both worlds, but it's also the worst of both worlds. During EV mode, a PHEV is a less efficient battery electric vehicle (BEV) since it's carrying a heavy internal combustion engine (ICE) that isn't being used, along with all the other ICE components. It also has all the maintenance requirements of the standard HEV variant, unlike a true BEV. When the battery is depleted, a PHEV is a worse hybrid since it's carrying a big battery that isn't being used. Despite a PHEV's versatility between gasoline and electric usage, it isn't for everyone. It can run on gasoline only without ever charging the battery, but then you lose all the benefits of EV driving. You paid extra for the EV experience, so you might as well charge the battery. Final thoughts: the Prius Prime is a very good car, but only If you can charge at home. If not, then get the standard Prius since that one is an even more efficient hybrid.

Jidd Motors MitsubishiReviews
Jidd Motors Mitsubishi review
We just purchased our 4th car from Jidd Motors yesterday, and once again the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Every time we’ve worked with this dealership, we’ve been treated with professionalism, honesty, and genuine care, which is why we continue to come back. This time around they had exactly what we were looking for, and the entire process was incredibly smooth and efficient. We were in and out in no time, with no pressure and no unnecessary hassle. Jesse Wright was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and truly committed to making sure we found the right vehicle. He made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Steve Cole in finance was equally fantastic to work with. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of our options, answered every question clearly, and made the financing process easy to understand. We never felt rushed and appreciated how transparent everything was. What really sets Jidd Motors apart is their customer service. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, respectful, and focused on making the car-buying experience enjoyable. It’s refreshing to work with a dealership that consistently delivers such a high level of service and makes customers feel valued. We highly recommend Jidd Motors, Jesse Wright, and Steve Cole to anyone looking for a vehicle. After four great experiences, they’ve earned our trust and loyalty. When it’s time for car number five, we’ll absolutely be coming back!

2024 Toyota Prius Prime review
Quick, fun, economical. Still learning all the tech and experimenting with all the energy and performance options. Getting around 40 miles per charge with AC. Gets lots of positive looks. Front door head clearance could be a lot better. Driver display not the problem of some reviews, more like a large heads up display. A keeper!

The Autobarn Mazda of EvanstonReviews
The Autobarn Mazda of Evanston review
All work required to make my vehicle repairs and checks complete and correct we’re performed to my total satisfaction while I waited in the comfortable customer waiting area as work was supervised under the outstanding guidance of Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. As a regular customer at the service department I always ask for the consistently courteous and flawless management of my vehicle requests by Oscar Galatia. Under Oscar’s guidance from his earliest work with Autobarn Mazda of Evanston to date, I never have had to return to him with a complaint that the work had been done poorly, with mistakes made, or required work not having been done at all. Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. I suggest that management do whatever it can to retain the services of its multi-talented and perceptive Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. He is well trained, experienced, intelligent, and dedicated as I have seen first hand when he has worked with me. He also seems to work in great harmony with his fellow supervisors and support personnel.. Dave Sutor

2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

Andy Mohr Volkswagen of Avon review
Tharon is by far the best car salesman we’ve had the pleasure of working with. My dad is usually pretty hard on salesman but he will be coming to Tharon from now on! I got a wonderful vehicle at the price I needed it to be to be comfortable every month. Hes very understanding and personal. Doesn’t pressure you into things and doesn’t make you have that uncomfortable feeling you usually have at a car lot. I don’t have enough kind words to say about him!
2015 Honda Fit review
Great overall little commuter hatchback. We got ours a few years old with low mileage due to the options we wanted. The other reviews are kind of silly on here, complaining about a car due to lack of options selected by the buyer. Yes it wont have heated seats if you dont get the heated seat models lol. Our model is the EX, it has a sunroof, blind mirror indicator, heated seats, and a manual 6 speed transmission. Basically all features any high end model could use, I dont like leather seats due to the degradation long term. Just make sure you avoid the CVT transmission. Our area would not offer manual 6 speed on the high end trim so we had to travel out of state to get ours. Few mods added to the car to make it even better: - bi-led projector retrofit on headlights - led bulbs all around, plates, interior. - auto dim rear view mirror (easy wire in) - front facing dash cam - sirius satellite radio - winter aluminum rims (instead of steelies), summer has factory 17" aluminum black/silver combo - towing hitch (bike carrier) -- vehicle rated at 2000 lbs Overall its been very reliable, super practical with the folding seats. It gets excellent fuel efficiency and fits everywhere. Power wise, its very snappy given with a manual transmission you can control it a lot better than the sloppy CVT. The manual does 0-60mph in 8 seconds or less, which is very fast for a little car. Its not a tesla or a GTR with 130hp but its plenty for its 36-40 mpg. One issue ours had was the starter went out really early, but it was an easy change out, its a known issue. The seats are not very comfortable for long trips but thats because they are so small and its a commuter car. The cam gear also can get noisy on these at start up, so they will rattle but has no impact to performance. We have just over 100k miles on ours and its a very strong little car, will be getting another one of the final production year as this one gets higher in mileage. Again get the manual 6, you will not regret it, honda manual cars are semi automatic, the clutch is like a feather vs. a subaru for example. Totally worth it.
