I own a 23' Hyundai Elantra Limited, it has 37,000 miles on it. For the Elantra being the smallest sedan that Hyundai makes, I have been surprised by this car. My 2 previous cars were a Sonata Sport and a Sonata Limited. Pros: comfortable ride - I drive 60+ miles daily to work and I have no complaints about the ride of this car. Sound System: This features Bose speakers, as it is a Limited model. For a factory sound system, it sounds very good. Fuel Mileage: I get between 35 - 37 MPG with some of my daily drive being in stop and go traffic. Maintenance: the only things I have had to do were the normal oil changes, filter changes, and I have replaced the tires. Cool feature is the BlueLink phone app so you can remotely lock, unlock, start the engine to cool down or warm up the interior of the car Cons: hyundai took away the ability to save music to the car stereo and replaced the feature with "nature sounds" Homelink garage door opener was not an option in the Elantra Limited. I would recommend this car to someone that has a limited budget and is looking for a car that is fun to drive and has been reliable.

it is a very nice car! it is all wheel drive. it only comes on one of the models. very roomy with all the modern features. The only negative is the Sun Roof is not available in the All Wheel Drive Model.

I bought the 2022 Accent SE trim as a backup daily driver. It's great but not awesome. True, the interior is not much of a wow factor, but it's nice and simple. The radio and infotainment is simple, backseats, trunk, lights, many simplicities in this car. Driving is fun, it does have a bit of an acceleration that I'm not used to. Huge windshield though, I was impressed. The shifter know moves cleanly as well. Brake is under par, I wish it was a bit better (I'm probably used to the Brembos on my garage queen.) I don't like the plastic rim cover, I might change out the rims to nicer ones. I replaced my halogens with LEDs for my headlights. I get about 33-36 MPG driving in Texas roads so, my driving habits are rather safe-ish and slow. I think for the price, it is one of the best starter cars out there. I love Toyotas and Hondas, but these days in 2024, they are way too overpriced. If you are in the market for something simple and clean, and are trying to avoid flashy and eye stares, also while not hurting your wallet; this might be the car your looking for

Overall, I really like this car. Nice look inside and out. Easy to clean Internal cabin noise is quiet while driving. Like car notifications inside the car.

I bought my Elantra new. Never had to take it in for mechanical problems just front end due to pot holes. The car gave me an average mileage of 5.3/100km. I finally traded up to a newer Elantra. My old car had 483000km, no warning lights or repairs to the engine or transmission. Keep up with your maintenance

I live far from this dealership but they had exactly what I was looking for. The whole experience was very favorable . Everyone I has contact with was very professional and courteous. The salesman I worked with Joe Kendall was excellent. The day after the purchase I noticed that a light strip was missing on one of the outside mirrors. The service dept fixed it. Hi All! I picked up my Sonata SEL w/ Convenience about 4 months ago and man is it pretty. I get compliments all the time. Anyhow, I have just under 2,000 miles on the odo. and figured it would be a good time to leave some first impressions and what it's been like to live with along with some good and not-so-good experiences I've had. First the GOOD: Like I said, it looks amazing. In my opinion, the best looking midsize sedan on the market and everyone seems to love the design. The refinement levels are amazing. Hyundai did an impeccable job quieting this sedan down from the previous version (I had a 2020 model prior). I notice a rather significant difference at highway speed and just cruising around town in overall noise levels. Super pleased here. The ride quality isn't as harsh as the previous version either. Overall, it feels softer over bumps and potholes barely make it through. Yet, handling is still great albeit maybe a bit less sharper around corners. I think this is a great sacrifice though. The prior gen. seemed to have a rather jarring ride in my opinion. In typical Hyundai fashion, the lane keeping/lane departure assist along with dynamic cruise control works flawlessly, so much better than both Honda and Toyota, and I've driven them all. Highway trips are an absolute breeze with the Sonata. Now, the NOT so good: The door handle sensor only works occasionally. Reaching behind the door handle with the key in my pocket should theoretically unlock the door, but it does so only about 50% of the time. I find myself reaching back and forth to and from behind the handle, and maybe on the 2nd or 3rd or 4th attempt, the door will unlock. Watching from afar, it probably looks idiotic like, is this dude afraid to touch his car, what's going on!? Odd. There's a rattle in the passenger door and is REALLY heard when playing music, even at low to moderate volume. I'll get this checked out when my 1st maintenance visit comes around. The Carplay screen is WAY too bright at night. Like, blinding bright. I can adjust it down to the lowest illumination level and it's still pretty bright, but it also dims the speedometer screen! Then, during daylight, it's far too dim, so I have to go in and turn it back up to max illumination. There's only one illumination level from what I can tell and it controls both the speedometer screen AND the infotainment screen. I wish there was a way to lower the brightness of the infotainment screen while keeping the speedo screen brighter along with greater variances between day and night levels. All in all, I'm extremely happy with the 2024 Sonata. I highly recommend it over Accord (lacking features, horrible road noise, pricy) and perhaps even the Camry, although the new 2025 version seems to be pretty killer.

Have a 2020 Sonata SEL with convenience package and it's now 11/24. 26 thousand miles and never had an issue. Car is comfortable reliable and my wife and daughter have our their feet down when I wanted to get another vehicle. My daughter wants it in a few years as I drive carefully, service the car every 4,000 miles. She wants a free car with under 50k miles that will last 200k miles. I have taught her well. She understands a good value. So glad I got the 2.5 non turbo as I believe the engine will be worry free for another 175k miles

We have the Sport Limited Turbo 2.0 in white. Power is good. But, sometimes it seems like the turbo isn't boosting as you're getting on the throttle. Stock tires are noisy, so we put some quiet Michelins on and it helps a lot. Interior-wise, the Nav panel and controls is really something to be desired. It just plains stinks. I'd love to have the newer radio/Nav display that the KIA's have. Trunk is very spacious and leather seats are comfortable. Overall, it's great for long trips (33 mpg on the interstate driving 77mph) and it's a nice looking car. Not as cool as our son's 2022 KIA K5 GT-line, though!

I'm very happy with this vehicle. The car is still relatively new but so far I haven't had to take it back to the dealer yet. This is my second Sonata but this car is much better than my 2017. I don't think that you can beat the car at this price point. I'm happy with it.

I have a 2017 Sonata SE that has been a very good, reliable vehicle. I spend alot of time on the road for my job and it had never given me any issues; very comfortable, gas mileage around 30+. As many others have said, the engine conked out at around 124,000 mi. The dealer replaced it with a new factory engine 2 mos ago. A week after I got it back, the accelerator something or other broke so I took it back and had to pay $500 to repair it. (they swore it was unrelated- I dont think so) Other than that, it has been a great car.

I have the Limited. This is my 6th Hyundai/Genesis car and they just keep getting better. The technology is fantastic and equals many features in luxury cars at twice the price. In June I took a 3450 mile trip, hit 14 states and a variety of traffic conditions and it just kept chugging along with no effort. Features like HDA help on the long days of 700 miles. Used less gas than my previous car too, 95 gallons on that trip.

I have had nothing but a GREAT experience, from buying the car to owning it! I went to Auto Land of Accident Maryland to look at vehicles. I had no idea whatsoever of what I wanted but I knew it was time for a new vehicle. Kerri and Chad helped me find my beautiful red Hyundai Sonata, and I fell in love immediately. The gas mileage is unreal. My son and I went to Florida for a week, and as a girl who loves road trips we drove it to Florida from Maryland. Then we drove all of the way back. A 16 hour road trip, 985 miles one way and I was getting 43.7 mpg. I couldn’t believe it! That whole trip took a little over two full tanks! This car has been perfect for hauling things around in since it has so much room in the trunk and back seat. The seats are comfy so my son didn’t mind the long trip in fact he slept through a couple of states. This is my dream car! Thank you so much Autoland!

I bought the car off a used car lot. It had $54,000 miles on it. I drove it to Louisiana and back and realized it was a half a quart low on oil. Took it back to the dealership and they can't find out what's wrong with it. But other than that overall experience is great.

I drove 3500 dually diesels for 25-30 years and then went to a Honda ridgeline 2018 new, love it until I drove my wife’s new car and decided I needed a car. My best friend had a Hyundai and loved it so I did hours of reviews Hyundai vs many others. All factors considered I decided to test drive a few. All things considered the Hyundai won and a low mileage 2021 caught my eye and I got it. After apps 1000 miles I am so glad I got it. Pros and cons Honda (H) push button start Hyundai (hy) key start, H remote start hy no remote start, H good ride hy better ride, H noisy hy less noisy,H electric keypad with gloves on more user friendly for me, hy parking easier, hy cornering better, H acceleration a bit stronger but hy smoother, both get the job done, I am 74 yo so I understand knobology better than the slow digital control for heat radio etc.,hy wins there- breaks equal, dashboard info hy wins, seems to love Google maps tolerates Waze, I prefer Waze. Pros and cons about not locking keys in car - can’t dash out start it w/o leaving key in ignition,physically gettin and out of the vehicle is harder, in a nutshell the things that matter more to me the hy wins so far.The salesman, Lamar was exceptional, a young family man earning a living by hustling but not rushing! Remember Lamar at Southern Auto Group in Newport News VA. Oh and the warranty was winner!
