Upon first impression I wasn’t sure how this was going to go. There was no receptionist and there was no organization as to who to speak to once I got there. But once I was placed with my sales manager Alex, the experience became a different story. He was helpful, professional, but very real. He didn’t xxxxxxxx, lie, or act like he knew things he didn’t, which I appreciate! Even though I was liking at a used Ford he didn’t try to sell me in something I didn’t want. He just gave his honest opinions and knowledge to help me make my decision. I didn’t buy right away, which was actually encouraged by him, to see the other vehicle I had in mind. Even gave me tips on what to look for when seeing other used vehicles, which was welcomed. After viewing the other vehicle and having the exact opposite experience with a local Ford dealer, I chose to go with car at Toyota of Hackensack even without an CPO certification, simply because I just trusted them more, they were upfront with all the costs. Alex didn’t try to slip anything by me when we sat down for pricing. The price was exactly what I expected to pay given the sticker price. I was assisted with getting a great rate on insurance by the dealership, and the finance guy Steve was just as helpful and easy to work with. They matched a finance rate I was approved for by another bank. Steve didn’t hard sell me on an extended warranty, but explained everything pretty well and gave me time to think and research. Overall I came away with a very good experience and so far, a great car. I would definitely recommend dealing with Alex and Steve at Toyota of Hackensack!
2026 Toyota Tacoma review
I always wanted a midsize pickup truck and I always wanted one of the Toyota Tacoma. I driven one used which was bought by my brother in law in the 80 with no power option just old school pickup. Now turning the clock forward to 2026 my first midsize pickup truck Toyota Tacoma. I truly believe people at Toyota have gotten everything right the ride is smooth with SR5 model and the price is right for all levels of pickup who don’t need additional options which I love. So far with 5’ of bed it should work out for me and family using it. It is comfortable drive that completed my everyday commute and things around the house and other projects that needed to be done. Having 2 children it is a plus with 4 doors on the SR5 model. It is like everything we wanted in a midsize pickup truck. For me and my family use for everyday life. I highly recommend Toyota Tacoma it is very expensive but in the long run it is worth every penny….

I had read a few negative reviews on Yelp, so I proceeded with caution. However, once I arrived and was greeted by salesman Mark Checki, I knew I was going to have a great experience as a customer. This was my first time buying a car, or visiting a dealership on my own. I called the day before to inquire about a used 2017 Genesis G80, and Mark answered all of my questions about the process quickly and in an simple-to-understand manner. When I arrived, he quickly got the keys for me to take a test drive where I immediately fell in love with the car. I knew I wanted to buy it, and I’m pretty sure he knew as well. He was very familiar with the vehicle and all of its features. It may have helped that I was buying outright, but he was able to expedite the process for me. While I went to go get a cashier’s check from Chase around the corner, he was able to speak with my insurance company, get the car washed, and prepare all of the DMV paperwork for me. All I had to do was read over the agreement and sign the paperwork. Mark is a world class salesman and an incredible guy overall. He’s a seasoned veteran in the business and he made my experience completely enjoyable and exciting. I drove off the lot in my car within 2 hours and it could’ve been quicker if we didn’t hit a speed bump with Progressive. Do not hesitate to buy from this dealership, and do yourself a favor and ask for Mark when you arrive. Thank you, Mark, and thank you, Liberty!
2026 Hyundai PALISADE review
I gave up my 2025 BMWx5 50e for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Hybrid. My friends thought it was to lower my notes or because we couldn’t afford the BMW. What they didn’t know was I had paid off the BMW. Reducing cost was not a factor. I fell in love with the Palisade about three years ago, but I kept waiting on the new body style. I finally went to see the new Palisade and the features were much better than what I remembered. I love the cameras to the left and right when you use your turn signals. I love actual knobs to adjust the ac unit. I love the roominess of the second row seats and their ability to recline. The massage function for the drivers seat is awesome. The ability to recharge vs nightly plugging in a hybrid is wonderful! I won’t go on and on, but I find myself smiling really hard and peaking out the door to look at it in my garage…lol! I don’t like how loud it starts off, not crazy about the big grill, I preferred my panoramic sunroof vs the two separate sunroofs, and I lost the safety net of run flat tires. But overall, I am very pleased with my first SIX days of ownership. I will keep you updated if anything changes.

2026 Honda Passport review
I purchased the 2026 Passport Trailsport Elite model and am very happy with it. I love the many extras that this package has, especially the heat/cool seats, as well as the heated steering wheel. I love how roomy and comfortable the ride is in both front and passenger seats. I will definitely travel in this vehicle. The lease was up on my 2023 Nissan Altima. Legend Nissan is my dealership of choice. I had previously leased an Altima, then a Maxima then another Altima. The 2023 I ended up getting was still during the tail end of the COVID nonsense and unfortunately, the sales person that was there at the time couldn’t match a different dealerships price and it was enough of a difference that I couldn’t afford the difference. That said, the dealership that I got the 2023 from I actually think leased me a car that was damaged at some point even though it only had 9 miles on it. Anyway, this car which is a 2026 Nissan Rouge I researched and and much communication with multiple, four dealerships and Legend had the best price, by far, significantly better than any other dealerships I checked with on Long Island, Again, Legend is my dealership of our choice for that reason and also the service department is outstanding!
2026 Nissan Pathfinder review
Tried to like other SUV's with smaller engines but I could not get past the lack of power. Hybrids are out of the question for me. It would be great if you could disable the the engine governor instead of pushing the button to turn it off every time we start the car. For the price and the size it is perfect for our needs. Lay the seats down and haul stuff or fill up the car with children. Very versatile. Price was reasonable compared to other third row SUV's. I can see us taking trips in this one.

2026 Subaru Outback review
I had some weird requirements. I bought a full-sized spare exactly like the other wheels/tires on the car so I wanted it to fit in the wheel well. It did that. I also wanted a car that had a very convenient way of turning off the auto on/off feature where the car's engine turns off when you come to a light. I also wanted AWD. The cabin is quieter than my previous car so that's also a plus. The seats are very comfortable. The only small negative is that the map lights are very weak. I will have them replaced with LED bulbs at the car's first oil change at 3000 miiles.

I`ve only had the Kia Sportage EX AWD hybrid for 3 weeks previously owning a 2023 Toyota Rav4 XLE (gas) that seemed bullet proof even after 30K miles. Looking to upgrade to a new hybrid vehicle I was thoroughly impressed with my Kia test drive . The Kia Sportage is so smooth and quiet with strong acceleration and comes with an automatic transmission instead of a CVT. 2026 Honda Passport review
I’ve had a 26 Passport Trailsport Elite for about 4 months and racked up about 10,000 miles on it. So far I’ve taken it off road, towed 1,000s of miles at max payload capacity, and just lived with it daily. This is a good all arounder for the adventure seeker. The performance I feel could be better but it’s no slouch and what it doesn’t have in acceleration it makes up for in room. If you’re looking for a practical daily that can keep up with your weekend adventures, the passport should be on your radar

2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid review
I has never envisioned myself buying a Hyundai until I looked at them. I quickly fell in love with the looks of the Santa Fe and Palisade. I chose the Palisade because it was bigger and I chose the Hybrid because of the wonderful reviews I read about it. So far the car droves like a dream. I think it is a car that looks as good as similar mid size SUV's at a much higher price. And I know the reviews for reliability and performance are often better than the more expensive competitors. My only complaint might be all the high tech stuff I have to learn about it. But I think that is pretty much the same with all new cars these days. Bonus is my Palisade has a wonderful Bose system that sounds fabulous. Hyundai has won this GM abd Chrysler girl over!

Love the 6 cylinder only wish gas tank was larger. Even with the all terrain tires it offers a smooth quiet ride. Sound system is very clear. Interior look is somewhat upscale compared to several other SUV’s I looked at. Interiors size is great. Very spacious with lots of leg room both front and back. Enjoy only having two row seats with the back one being a bench seat. Would definitely purchase again.

Amazing space inside, yet good road manners - sure footed in bad weather, good handling and sublime ride quality - and everyone smiles when they see it. People coming to an EV for the first time may have range anxiety, but charging is seamless and quick. Controls take some getting used to but still far better than a Model Y/3 with just one screen and two scroll wheels. More than enough room for my very large dog.
