2022 RAM 1500 review
I bought mine used. It had about 40k miles on it. I got a steal of a deal price wise. That being said. It drives smooth. Has all the power i need to haul and tow for work and life. Also plenty of room for hauling around family. I have had no complaints. It’s everything i was looking for in a vehicle. Ironically it is not the color I normally would buy. But even my particular wife loves the color and looks combination. She drives it as much as I do. I can’t say the same about her car. But, i am not a huge car person. One final thing. I am thoroughly impressed with the fuel consumption. Would recommend this vehicle (the big horn edition) to anyone.

I went to my local Dodge dealer near Santa Monica, and apparently they were too busy to help. Talking to them, they didn’t seem capable of doing anything other than changing the oil on cars, or selling them way over MSRP. I have been putting off getting my car serviced for a while as I had been dreading the car dealer service ‘experience.’ I need not have worried. I was met at the Ellis service entrance at the time of my appointment by Jerry the manager. It was a great welcome and he was super helpful and positive. He made had sure I knew exactly where to go. I then proceeded to the service desk where I was met by Eder. We d discussed a few things that my car needed and did the paperwork. The service really was amazing and really fast. A few hours later Eder called me and went through the specific list of things that needed doing. He managed to get most of it covered by the warranty, and gave me the choice of what was and what was not essential of the remaining items. He gave me a fair set of options and prices. It was also great to find out that Eder is really knowledgeable, it like I was speaking directly to the mechanic. Throughout the process, the communication by text and phone was really fast and impressive. I seriously wish my local dealer was as good as the guys at Ellis. Fortunately, I am happy to travel to the other side of town to have these guys look after my car. The level of service and the quality of work was exceptional. 2023 RAM 1500 review
Bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited new and owned for 4 years. The starter went out twice under !00,000 miles so replaced 2 starters, had spark plug miss fire that had to get fixed, had exhaust manifold crack making the clicking sound upon startup, gas mileage got bad around 80,000 miles. I loved my truck but was stuck 2 where truck wouldn't start because the starter Ram uses is too small and not enough power for the start/stop and this size of engine. Also, heated seats are not hot at all. Coming from a F150 where the heated seats were incredibly hot which felt great, Ram not so much.

2024 RAM 1500 review
The last Hemi powered Rams. I have owned a lot of trucks and my last 3 were all Ram 1500 Hemi powered. I liked the new Hurricane I6 turbo motor coming soon but also want my truck to sound like a truck. I am glad I got my 24 at the end of 2023 before I moved across the country to Texas. I have the Laramie trim level 4x4 and etorque engine. The start stop is so much smoother with the etorque system while I also enjoy that it is turned off when in tow mode. We have a Tritoon we pull behind that weights about 7,500lbs. Tows it just fine. A little more squat than I would like if I put extra supplies in the bed. However I am planning on getting airbags to assist. This is my first ram with the ram box and I love it! The dry storage is great for basic items and we use when grocery shopping every weekend. The entertainment system is good not great. Every now and then it messes us and I have to reset it. Gotta love technology but by pressing the volume and tune knob in at same time for 15 seconds it resets easily. Wireless CarPlay is great! The Harmon Kardon sound system is nice. I have a speaker rattle that the dealer is ordering a new speaker for replacement. I have had 2 recalls so far and 1 warranty visit at a local dealer. (Not the best experience) but new ownership of a large corporate owned store they just don’t seem to care. The locally owned store is now assisting me and while parts still take time it’s nice when they call you occasionally for an update vs never calling you back. My only gripe is the 23&24 ram Laramie trucks stoped. Coming with the painted fender flairs so it feels a bit naked and I got a door ding at a shopping center without that protection. (My older ram truck had it) anyway great power. Good highway fuel (20mpg not towing) I average 17mpg driving in this crazy dfw traffic. Towing it goes way down to 10-12 mpg. I averaged 11.5 driving from Ohio to Texas. Lots of tech and big interior. Looking for many years of enjoyment.

2022 RAM 2500 review
I have a 2022 2500 diesel Longhorn, that has had numerous problems with the DEF SOFTWARE. After 3 to 4 trips (50,000 miles) to the Dealership, they replaced the DEF tank and it seemed to fix the problem. I currently have 56,000+ miles with no further problems. Other than that I am extremely pleased with my 2500 Longhorn.

2025 RAM 1500 review
2026 Limited with Hemi. When you accelerate it sounds and feels like a warm buzz in your belly. It isn't a street racer, but it still goes like xxxx. They are getting rid of the eTorque in 2027, but who cares: it is fully covered until 2036. The 5.7 is the most reliable engine they ever made, and 19 mpg overall is pretty good milage. The Limited ride is so smooth it feels like it floats. The 1/4-3/4 rear bed-door and ram boxes add convenience for all sorts of things. It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. It is a luxury ride.

2025 RAM 1500 review
The I-6 does pretty good on fuel. Averages around 20 to 21. Rides very well. Seems to do ok pulling a boat, the fuel milage does drop to around 16 though.

2022 RAM 2500 review
We wound up taking our 22 ram 2500 cummins over Sonora Pass due to a computer routing error(no signs either). This was while hauling a 13,000lb. 5th wheel. Tranny got hot pulling up the east side but cooled right back down after 15 minute stop.. Brakes overheated coming down west side but able to get stopped and let them cool for 45 minutes. we made it using 4 low. do not recommend trying this but the truck performed amazingly.... wont buy another brand after this adventure. Sonora Pass is a 26% grade up and down btw

2021 RAM 1500 review
One of the best trucks I’ve ever owned. I wanted the 5.7 hemi, but wasn’t sold on the e torque. After driving it for awhile, I’m totally in love with it! 395 hp and 410 ft lbs of torque. This thing is great!!

2020 RAM 1500 review
I've now had 3 2015 or newer Ram 1500's. I tend to out between 30k to 35k per year on my trucks, and I have had almost no issues with any of my Ram 1500 pickups. The first one and the one I am currently driving both had 5.7 liter Hemis, and the middle one had the 3liter turbo Eco Diesel. The last 2 have been Laramie editions with the first being a Big Horn edition. I have nothing but high marks to give these trucks across the board. Power-great Exterior styling- great Interior (especially the Laramies) - Stellar Reliability - great I think they are easily the best value and best looking trucks on the market.

2026 RAM 1500 review
I use trucks plow , haul and tow... I've owned Ford's and GM trucks as well. While the Ford were good, I've experienced that the longer durability wasn't equal to MOPAR.. I was a GM person for many years and they definitely are not an option for me any longer. The GM's I've owned seemed lighter duty, failed more often than Ford and MOPAR. This is my third MOPAR truck. The past 2 have been very reliable, 300K 259k both still on the road . My new 26 Ram only has 2500 miles on this new truck so I'm reluctant to give it an overall rate of 5 , things Ive experienced thus far.. Performance: The std in line 6 has plenty of punch to it. Milage : Around town I'm getting 21.5 recently took it on a 380 trip ,26.9 MPG although RAM still has issue with its on board MPG calculator it stated 27.9 an error of ~ 4.7% which some may think is picky , I say come on fix it! GM and Ford have it dialed in . Fix it MOPAR. Interiors is well thought out super quiet , seats are very comfortable so traveling long distances is a great experience. I still dislike that one cant order a 8 foot box on a 1500. We will see how this $78K holds up in terms of durability.. Value wise I'm totally unhappy with all brands 78K is just out of line. But then again , lots of folks buy trucks and use them for cars so when demand goes up so do prices. Value wise they out of sync with the customer

2015 RAM 1500 review
My family has own multiple ram 1500 2014 and newer all great no problems except for third brake light. Get daily easier to maintain and work on than most gm 2016 and newer more power than f150 love these trucks.

2020 RAM 1500 review
Beautiful, reliable, one of the best looking trucks on the road today. 5 years of ownership. Had no mechanical or any other issues, just your regular oil changes. RAM had a couple of recalls, but those always have bee taken care of by RAM. I do recommend this truck.

2016 RAM 1500 review
My mistake was not look under the vehicle, found some rust in the main frame, the air bag suspension were shot, had to replace them, DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM DEALER OR ANYWHERE ELSE, it’s a pain to get the car fixed, warranty company does not want to pay, the dealer service dept in Miami lakes Auto mall suck, very unreliable, DO JOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

2022 RAM 1500 review
Purchased a 2022 Laramie, RWD, Hemi 5.7L, Crew Cab with 21,000 miles. Other than no nav system, the truck is pristine. I am the 3rd owner; the other two maintained it beautifully. This V8 gets better city/hwy mileage than my for V6, 4x4, Crew Cab Nissan Frontier. I am most please with this vehicle!

I went to my local Dodge dealer near Santa Monica, and apparently they were too busy to help. Talking to them, they didn’t seem capable of doing anything other than changing the oil on cars, or selling them way over MSRP. I have been putting off getting my car serviced for a while as I had been dreading the car dealer service ‘experience.’ I need not have worried. I was met at the Ellis service entrance at the time of my appointment by Jerry the manager. It was a great welcome and he was super helpful and positive. He made had sure I knew exactly where to go. I then proceeded to the service desk where I was met by Eder. We d discussed a few things that my car needed and did the paperwork. The service really was amazing and really fast. A few hours later Eder called me and went through the specific list of things that needed doing. He managed to get most of it covered by the warranty, and gave me the choice of what was and what was not essential of the remaining items. He gave me a fair set of options and prices. It was also great to find out that Eder is really knowledgeable, it like I was speaking directly to the mechanic. Throughout the process, the communication by text and phone was really fast and impressive. I seriously wish my local dealer was as good as the guys at Ellis. Fortunately, I am happy to travel to the other side of town to have these guys look after my car. The level of service and the quality of work was exceptional. 2023 RAM 1500 review
Bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited new and owned for 4 years. The starter went out twice under !00,000 miles so replaced 2 starters, had spark plug miss fire that had to get fixed, had exhaust manifold crack making the clicking sound upon startup, gas mileage got bad around 80,000 miles. I loved my truck but was stuck 2 where truck wouldn't start because the starter Ram uses is too small and not enough power for the start/stop and this size of engine. Also, heated seats are not hot at all. Coming from a F150 where the heated seats were incredibly hot which felt great, Ram not so much.

2022 RAM 1500 review
Bought this truck brand new, got the Big Horn with the 5.7L Hemi (which is now extinct) and I cannot say enough on how much this vehicle wowed me. The pickup and power are great, the 4wd auto is very responsive and has been very useful in wet, and off road conditions. We stay in cabins in the mountains and the truck has no issues getting up hard to climb hills and racks terrain. I drive it daily to work and although I have had a few issues with the uconnect, nothing that has required dealership trips. I've had the truck 2 years now and 20000 miles with no problems. The interior is comfortable although I wish I would have sprung for the leather. The large screen is great and the interior design is the best of the big 3 American brands in comparable models. Also the price while too high, was still better than Chevy and most Fords. I'm a Ram guy now. Hopefully it stays this reliable for the price I paid.

This has been the most wonderful truck. On the frwy when it shifted to the lower cylinder usage, it was so quiet and gas efficient. Johns Trim Shop topped off with a $2500 package. I hate to say goodbye but am retiring.

Extremely comfortable for a 6'4" 240 lb. driver, even after hours of driving. Lots of power...good economy for the hp (unless pulling a trailer)...like the upgraded big screen and navigation software on the Big Horn. Good ride for a HD 2500. Great turn radius.

Purchased in 2023, new. Had to go back one year to find one without e-torque. Test drove & didn't like it. Right now I have 30,000 trouble free miles on it. I just hope my luck with that last. I have been a GM owner all my life, with two Fords threw in which didn't impress mr at all. I was dissatisfied with my 2010 GMC so I decided to try Ram. I bought a 2017 Bighorn with the 3.6 V6 & was totally happy. 70,000 trouble free miles. I planned on keeping that truck much longer, but, at my age, decided to give it one more shot, so i bought the 2022 with the 5.7 V8. Didn't need the xtra power but decided I'd go for broke. I'm 82, so I'm planning this to be my last truck. I have owned pickups only since 1967, never had any use for a car.

2017 RAM 2500 review
Had the truck, a Tradesman, 3-years and not a single problem with it, besides what the previous owner did. They put leveling blocks on it and big tires that made it ride like a dump truck. Plenty of power with the 6.4l. Very reliable.
