I drive eighty miles round trip to work. My Legacy is quiet, comfortable and the Eye Sight is great! I’m safe and secure knowing my Subaru has my back. I’d like better mpg but at 32 on average I guess I shouldn’t complain. Love my Subie!

Willie was my rep. He was courteous and checked back with me a couple of times while I waited. After the inspection he explained why items besides an oil change and tire rotation should be taken care of. And the additional work only added an extra 1/2 hour to my original estimated time frame. I am confident that I and my SUV are in good and trustworthy hands when I come here.

Bought it new and now 3+ years in has had no problems. Seems quite solid and reliable. A very comfortable, quiet, smooth ride compared to other cars I've owned. I bought it primarily for the utility and active safety features and mostly have not been disappointed. If you like very quick acceleration, however, this is not the car for you. It accelerates fine for my driving style. A few minor gripes about a car I still like: There's no interior light in the hatch area, which makes it difficult to see in the dark. It would be helpful to have door locks that automatically lock when the vehicle is shifted into R or D. Otherwise, you have to lock/unlock the doors using the small switch on the armrest. The driver safety features have already prevented a couple of potential accidents, but are overly sensitive at times. Once I was not able to back out of my driveway because there was a puddle at the bottom with the sun shining on it. The sensors thought it was an object and hit the brakes. It happened a second time until I backed out very slowly over the puddle. Otherwise, the car meets my needs for a small, competent, safe SUV.

I have been a loyal customer of Evanston Subaru for decades. I was concerned when the dealership was sold because of my excellent relationship with the former owners. I am pleased to say, that my last 2 encounters for routine maintenance service has been excellent. The service representative was courteous and communicated with me regarding the progress of service and issues that were detected. I continue to be a loyal customer.

2022 Outback XT Likes: Easy cruise control setting. Push steering wheel mounted tiny lever up or down...easy 5mph adjustment. Turbo gives good acceleration. 26mpg + overall. Easy steering wheel heater on/off. Blind Spot Monitor..Large, inside of side mirrors very visible. Nice interior...great fit and finish..classy. Comfy seats. Easy drop down passenger seats from opened rear hatch. Dislikes: Very annoying seat belt chime. This is an Outback, a sporty, take your car camping vehicle..so one would anticipate many in and out scenarios...like adjusting the kayak on the carrier, etc...yet EVERY time you have to clip on your seat belt or it will loudly drive you bonkers! Our two other vehicles (Toyota and Ford) do have the chimes, but not obnoxious at all). What was Subaru thinking? No high beam headlight override...go down a country road, and if it switches to low beam, you cannot override it as I can with our other two vehicles...it seems to be tied to vehicle speed, but is inconsistent. Setting the seat heater is unnecessarily complex (strangely for the front seats only). It is like a 3 or four step process, which takes your eyes off the road...at which time the car buzzes you to keep your eyes on the road...which are off the road because of this complex maneuver ...every other car we've ever owned just has at the simple button to push, as with the rear seats. AND...even on the lowest setting, the seat gets hotter and hotter, unlike our other two vehicles...till u have to turn it off. On entry, I hit my head on the door sill...I am 5'9", and yet.. Driving, the Subaru feels light; not firmly planted. The front end feels to want to wander...my wife thinks it is ok...maybe I am used to our front-heavy diesel truck. Heater or A/C is NOT automatic.... you have to monitor the fan..taking your eyes on the road ...with every other vehicle we have or ever had, you set the temp and theater/A/C adjusts the fan as needed. Finally...this may be just a "my car only" problem...one crossbar is loose...which gives me concern when hauling our kayak. Subaru looked at it and said it was within limits...yet, going through the parking lot, I have never found one other that is loose like that. This is mostly my wife's car, and she (5'2") likes it. She likes how it drives, gives her good vision all around, dislikes the obnoxious seatbelt chime and unnecessarily complex seat heater. Overall, it seems to be a well-built car, though our daughter, who has the same,(Touring XT) has had transmission problems at 40K miles, that she feels has never been totally fixed. We have had no engine or tranny problems, with 27k miles so far.

Service (Rick) was great . I'd give him a 11 on a 10 scale ! Every body was very knowledgeable and able an willing to answer any questions !!!

Great car but excessive tones/beeps/alarms/etc. Jolting. You think something is wrong with the car. Especially the seat belt one—SCREAMS at you. Creates stupid drivers who rely on all these warnings.

Great dealership and personel. I would only say sometime they try to attend more than one customer at a time but overall was a smooth experience.

This vehicle is complex, don’t kid yourself. Instead, learn how to use it wisely and you will be justly rewarded. Leave the second level cruise control as the manual says to freeways and stick to the less involved one for easier drives and the neat adaptive cruise control. What you will find is an auto that drives with a solid and comfortable feel. This puppy has all the power one needs on occasion. Learn how to manage its features to be rewarded with useful features such as lights that turn with you and dim automatically. Well finished and comfortable interior. In my many years, this has been one of the most comfortable vehicles I have ever owned.

mechanically sound but the electronics stink. Radio won't play. Screen insensitive at times. Not at all pleased with electronic connection with car. Wish I had my old 11 outback . Also brakes will engage without pressing to brake pedal. Get rid of the safe driving message.

2021 OB 2.5 Touring. I drive to Atlanta several times a year from Detroit and have gone up to 530 miles on a tank and average about 32 MPG for the entire journey. When it's time to fill-up, it's time to stop for the night. It is comfortable. I love the tech. My only complaint is the lane centering. It can make you feel like you're fighting the car sometimes. I only use it sparingly on long, low-traffic sections of I-75 - Great through Ohio. Eyesight is SUPERB! as are the Heated/Ventilated seats and heated steering wheel. It is a car that plays well with others. Tom-Tom is excellent, and it is usually great for helping us avoid traffic jams... Also, let us know (usually) where the rest stops are. Installing Map updates is a snap, and it does that often. The suspension is comfortable and handles Detroit area roads (8 Mile), potholes especially, with aplomb. There are times that I wish I had bought the XT, Turbo version, but that is rare. I mean, who doesn't want more power occasionally. Most of the time, I am quite pleased with the MPGs; it gets 28-ish city and 32-ish highway. I usually have Eyesight set to 5 MPH over the posted limit.

Grand Subaru didn't let COVID from preventing them from taking care of my 2015 Outback. They arranged a loaner so that I could keep up with maintenance and have a recall repaired at no cost. We've bought two Subarus from Grand and will continue to patronize them for both quality service and sales.

Love this Subaru! This is my 6th Subaru and first WRX. The car absolutely flies, not sure what happens at 3500 miles but the Turbo comes into a life of its own. So much power in 3 and 4th gear it is incredible. If you are in the market for a sports sedan test drive the WRX!

I'm still driving the 2019 Ascent with 56k miles. Other than a few recalls handled quickly, no issues whatsoever. Dependable, quiet, performance, comfort. I just had a loaner of the 2023 Ascent Touring model and I was amazed at the improvements. While I am keeping and love my 2019, the 2023 has improved handling, quieter, the transmission is certainly smoother and a solid and comfortable ride. Perhaps it has to due with the Touring model. I am not certain. I find my Subaru dealer to be honest, supportive and with an educated staff. This Ascent is large, which I enjoy immensely and without any family. The fit and finish is outstanding and the dash is quality components. No cheap plastic knobs or low grade materials. I would encourage you to test drive one today.

We bought a new Subaru legacy in 22. Love this car. Had a Lincoln and had nothing but trouble with it so I sold it and bought a 21 accent. In my mind I took a step down at first. The more I drove the accent the more I don’t miss the Lincoln. The only issue I have had is a drivers window that will sometimes kicks back when closing. The drivers seat will squeak at times also. But I’m sure the dealer will fix it. Overall a very nice car.

First things first... I view any car as a necessary evil.... I view them as something to get stuff from point A to point B. If I had My druthers I'd bicycle everywere but, since I live in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and as such we get a lot of snow and I can't. The Impreza fits the bill of what I need in a car. I have driven many cars in all kinds of conditions, the Impreza has never let me down. I'll admit it won't win most drag races but if you're looking for safety and reliability look no further. Mine is a lease and is the base model, but is chock full of great and useful features such as lane assist, hazard warning and my favorite adaptive cruise control (which brakes for you as the car in front of you slows down.) I had the first iteration of the Impreza in the nineties and that was good... This is awesome. Before I leased the Impreza I did due diligence by test driving Honda, Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota... The Impreza had most of the features I wanted at the price point that I wanted... Also the only manufacturer that offered AWD on the base model.

I leased this car in March after 12 years of being a Prius owner. My Prius was involved in a head-on crash, and although it performed amazingly, I wanted something a little more solid. This car fits the bill for a robust crossover option that also reduces the carbon footprint. The Crosstrek Hybrid is the perfect car for me. I live in an urban environment where I drive short distances for errands or to work. If I go further then the hybrid kicks in. Granted, we have been driving less during stay at home, but I have had this car 4 months and have only used 1/2 a tank of gas which is incredible. I charge it when I get home and at work also. The fact it can charge from a regular plug is amazing. I have not noticed my electric bills go up particularly, despite driving this car almost exclusively on the electric battery. If you do short drives close to home then this car is a great bet. If you drive longer distances routinely then this car might not be worth the extra money over the regular Crosstrek. The interior is roomy and comfortable. My only gripe is there's no wireless charging point, which is offered on Toyota's. You have to connect with a wire which is okay, but in this day and age you'd hope for more. The car handles very smoothly and has a nice 4 wheel drive capacity for mountains, hikes etc. There isn't tons of trunk space as the battery takes up a lot of room, but sufficient I'd say unless you need to frequently carry large loads. The car feels solid and safe, and my insurance premiums went down from my Prius as Subaru has such a great safety record. Finally, this car qualifies for the orange Access OK sticker, which enables you to use the HOV lane and park for free at meters in certain towns (such as Santa Monica.) Overall I am really thrilled with this car!

I love the body style of my 2022 Subaru Outback. Love the color, white with the black accents on the bumpers. The grey, twede, cloth interior is beautiful. The screen with all the controls in top notch. Heres the problem. I am always feeling as if the window is not all the way up due to wind noise. It is very disappointing when I realize the window is up all the way. I have taken the car to several different dealers and they say the same thing. They can hear the noise I am referring to and consider it reasonable for the vehicle. I have never experienced this kind of noise in other vehicles I have owned. For the price, I am unsatisifed

I do like my Outback very much. I bought it because of the high ratings by Consumer Reports. My only complaint is the navigation system, Tom Tom is not reliable. I wish Subaru used Google Maps

Bought this car three years old with less than 50K miles on it. I’ve loved it since we got it. It has been very reliable, fun to drive, with pretty minor drawbacks. For example the maintenance has been very minimal. I haven’t noticed ANY oil burning or leaking (I have personally changed the oil every 3-4K miles). Sometimes on long trips it will burn some oil and need a top off, which the car alerts us to. Overall I’d buy this car over and over as long as it fit my needs at the time. Currently looking into an Ascent for future hockey trips and other trips.

Eddie was overall fantastic. My wife and I drove out to Countryside from Chicago to look at a specific used car that they had on their lot. We were hesitant to drive out there as my wife is very pregnant and we didn't want to be stuck in an office closing on a vehicle if she were to go into labor. Eddie assured us that if we decided to purchase the vehicle he would make the paperwork/negotiation portion as timely as possible. Love my Forester only drawback is the tires are made of a soft compound and you only get 25k miles then they need to be replaced.

I own the 2011 Impreza Outback Sport. Can't say enough great things about this car. Over the past 10 years I have put 155,000 miles on it and it's still my every day vehicle. The biggest issue I've ever had with it was I had to replace the fuel pump around 120k. It's great in the snow, it handles very well overall, and I know it's safe to drive thanks to Subaru's 5 star crash rating.
