I came to Sun Toyota a week ago, on a referral. My mother gets her Scion serviced here and hasn't had a bad experience yet. I knew my 15-year-old Saturn was nearly on its last legs, so I had been looking for a while. Before my Sun visit, I started with a Hyundai dealer in my area, and had a "predator vs prey" experience. Sun Toyota is vastly different...and I bought a car based on that. My Saturn had 138k miles, so I knew I wouldn't get much for a trade, but I wanted/needed something newer and more reliable. I made an appointment and spent some time with Donald Smith. And I bought a car. Did he sell it to me? Yes. But I had fun the whole time. I went in with a wish list, but I also knew I might have to compromise a little bit. At the Hyundai dealer, the salesman brought me to the 2017s on the lot right away, even though I told him I wasn't looking for a brand-spanking-new model. In fact, he came *right* out of the showroom the minute I stepped on the lot. Not a good feeling - he seemed like a vulture. When I visited Sun, I made an appointment beforehand. (Maybe I should've done that with Hyundai too, but...live and learn!) In contrast to the Hyundai salesman, Don didn't make me feel vulnerable at all. When I explained my budget and wish list, he took me to the models in my price range. He explained that he wanted me to actually see them, to know what was available. What they had on the lot, would've been a lot like my Saturn - over 100k miles, and needing a lot of TLC. Saturn is a wonderful brand, & my prior car never did me wrong. But it wasn't very cost effective to keep, and I knew I needed something with more pep in it. Luckily, I could be flexible with my pricing, and my "short list" of models. (I'm used to driving Toyotas, since my other half has one too, but I wasn't opposed to trying other cars.) I think that helped too. I went in wanting to buy outright, and avoid payments. That didn't *exactly* happen. I came out with a small payment, but I can afford it. Most important, I have peace of mind. I appreciate that Don was willing to listen, and show me what was available. Also... *Sun Toyota never bashed other dealers - something my local Hyundai was quick to do. *Toyota now has longer warranties, on new and used cars. (20 yr/200k miles vs 10y/100k). Hyundai tried to tell me those were no longer offered. *They offer certified pre-owned models that go through a 160-pt inspection. I liked knowing their cars have already been vetted. Local Hyundai didn't offer certified anything. *Don took the time to listen to ME first, before I started test driving cars. He didn't just show me what HE wanted to move. *Don made it a fun experience! I was relaxed and enjoyed myself...and I have a new(er) car to show for it. I literally hugged him before driving off the lot. I have never done that before. *Sun didn't pester me after I left the dealership. Don has called to check on me and my car. (Local Hyundai salesman called me 3x in two days after I visited, because I didn't make an immediate decision.) At the end of the day, salesmen have to make sales, but customers have to be happy, too. Both of those things happened at Sun Toyota, so that's a win-win. And the most ironic part of the whole visit? I now have a Hyundai. (LOL!) If you visit Sun Toyota and you're in the market for a great experience, ask for Don. He won't disappoint you.

I wanted an extra safe car (I am 80), with as many gadgets as I could find, comfort for me, small and easy to park, reliable and a great dealer. This on paper was perfect (the top of the line model.)
There are lots of so-so reviews and in two test drives, I checked out all the problems. Since lack of power was first, and I don't normally 'floor it' I tried to. Not a sports car but fine. I tried to find all of the noise and couldn't. I know about the visibility problems, but the lane departure alert and the rear cross traffic alert solve that. The car may be small, but for me it is fine. And style - that is a matter of taste and this is my taste.
I came in just to"look" at what Subaru was offering. I was on my way to the Mitsubishi dealer where I THOUGHT I was buying a new vehicle😊. Tony came out and showed me models. What I loved most was his calm..very "unsalesman" personality. I didn't feel pressured. And drove out in a 2018 Forester!

Most reliable car I have ever owned

The car brings crossover design aspects to a higher driving level with great interior design and comfort. I'm looking forward to the long drives ahead. I would recommend it to anyone.
Great little sport suv that has wonderful gas mileage and can seat 5 people. Drives very smooth and is great for driving anywhere. Its great for a family or a fist car.
This car has met or exceeded my expectations. It is comfortable and good on gas. It runs quiet and has good acceleration. The color is great and the interior is also.
I was watching the movement of this SUV in Sri Lankan street's for a few months. I was attracted by its body shape. I started to learn about this car for a couple of weeks. Subsequently I made inquiries from my friends who use this car and they recommended it with great satisfaction. Yesterday I bought this car having exchanged my previous car. The interior, exterior, style, performance and shape are excellent. I think it is a best SUV for lower budget and also a great value for the money. Thank Toyota.
It definitely gets attention and comments from strangers. Some love it, so hate it, but it is distinctive.
Thought I'd hate all the new safety features, but now don't know how I lived without them.
Didn't notice the lack of power some have noted, but we're not heavy footed anyway, so it seems adequate.
Biggest drawback to me is the extremely poor outward visibility. Blindspot monitoring and back-up camera help, but it is poor.
This car looks nice as well as sporty . It rides nice and the added features such as pre collision system , radar cruise control and blind spot monitor are wonderful .
Only negatives are I would have rather had the backup mirror on the audio display rather than the rear view mirror so it’s larger . Also, would rather have it be an AWD.
Additionally, my left rear wheel bearing went out within a year .
This is a really nice design and economic on gas but the only thing I didn’t like the emergency break that automatically don’t work they. You have to put it so many times and still is not 100% fine. Something good is that is economic in Gas
I looked around quite a bit before buying my CH-R. Style as well as safety are very important to me and this fit the bill. The ride is very smooth, it has plenty of leg room and I love all the safety features. It's a real head turner! I just wish it was designed with better visibility. The blindspots kinda suck. Other than that, this car rocks!
The styling of this car attracted me at first. Then I test test drove. Was amazing. Felt spoiled. Has safety features and styling I love. And excellent warranty. Very happy.
Quality of this Toyota is first rate. Ride quality, transmission shifting and engine is very smooth. I dont even feel it shifting. The finish and fit is exactly what you would expect from Toyota. I have nothing but kudos for Toyota for producing a sharp head turning vehicle. Nothing else like it on the road.
This car is sporty, comfortable, and affordable. It gets great gas mileage and has all of the safety features that I was looking for. This car has been the best new car purchase I have ever made.
After purchasing our 2016 Ford Mustang from Jesus Van Der Henst for my husband, it was my turn! After checking several other dealers for a sedan I thought I might like, I decided to go back to Jesus & revisit the 2016 Ford Taurus he had me test drive the day before. He was right, this was my car & now IS my car! He was so helpful & patient with us prior to my decision to buy. I love having something that not many other people have & this fit the bill, right down to the color! Because of this being a full size vehicle, which I love, & a model that not too many others want because of the large size, I was sold. You buy a car because it appeals to you & having a personable Salesman, helps make the experience more exciting. Well, I have to say that coming in without knowing what I wanted & leaving with a car that I just LOVE tells me that Jesus made my time very enjoyable! He was such a sweet gentleman & very knowledgeable in answering all of our questions, as was our financial guide, Vincent Ippolito. I recommend Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel for a great selection of cars & wonderful service! Thanks for helping us purchase our "2" new cars, Jesus!!!

I fell in love with this vehicle as soon as I test drove it, it has style and it is very economically enhanced , plus I don’t worry about gas prices because it is great on gas
I was on an errand in Clearwater when a service light appeared on my dashboard, one I'd never seen before. I looked it up in the service manual, and it was a serious one. I'm new to this area, hadn't had my Prius serviced locally yet, so I was at the mercy of whichever dealership could take me first. I called two, but when connected to the service departments, I only got voice mail. My third call was to Auto Nation Toyota; I explained my situation and was put through to John Curtis. He listened to me (and the near-panic in my voice), and calmly told me that the car would be OK to be driven as far as their location, and assured me that they'd take immediate and good care of me. Which is exactly what transpired. John is a professional, easy going, and "knows his stuff." He gave me the information I needed to know, in a manner that a person who is not automotive knowledgeable could comprehend. I sincerely recommend John as a "go to guy" for your car's needs. Not only that, but for the first time in my driving life (and I'm no spring chicken), not only does this dealership offer you a ride home, but a ride back to pick up your car as well! That, to me, was amazing! Both drivers were personable and the cars immaculately clean, without any nasty, perfumey coverup smells (which I'm allergic to). My '08 Prius and I are very happy with the experience and service rendered.

Handles great,Looks a little sporty, love the features. Its bigger than it looks on the inside. Seats are comfortable and not crowded. Love it Best car yet.
I had been notified several times about the Toyota 2007 cars that had a recall on the airbags, however, didn't know where to take it (that I trusted) so didn't bother. Finally had a 'card' saying 'get it done'! so caled the number, told them why it wasn't taken care of - the dealer I've bought last 3 cars from (which I was satisfied) had moved into their new expanded bldg.., went up for an oil change just to test them - the young man 'greeter' I call him, said my car was ready then bean the sales pitch, intently, I said no, he persisted and looked very upset. Drove away, reached for my cell phone and it was gone. Evidently the 'shop' needed it more than I did. The Clearwater dealer, when shopping for my first Toyota, had me in the office the entire day, playing the back/forth to 'so called mgr.' for better deal game so I walked out. I don't like being treated like I'm stupid, don't know what I want, etc.; I may be dumb, but not stupid.. I don't like those 'get a better price' tactics and won't deal with them. They know what the price will be no matter how much dickering..
Your dealership was almost unbelievable - no bargaining, no pressure what so ever, recommended what needed to be done and out the door. EVERYONE was curtious, polite, smiling and working their....rear ends off, but had time to see if I needed help. Yes, I'll no doubt be back.

Wanted sporty car ,inexpensive, reliable. It is everything I had hoped for and then some.
Heads turn and people ask about it quite often.Love It...My wife even likes driving it..
Would recommend this car to anyone.
my experience was good; however, i believe it is unfair to customers and employees that the only acceptable score is a "5;" otherwise the employee is considered to have received a bad/zero score. a customer can have a good experience but they shouldn't feel pressed to only rate an employee with a perfect score. this leads to false ratings. just my thoughts

I’ve had my 19 CHR Limited for 6 days and I have loved it. Heavy rain last night and all windows leaked. Hope I don’t regret this purchase.
This was my first visit to your facility. The question is what took me so long?? Facility is designed with customer comfort in mind. Service was FAST and Mr. Hildebrand was professional, accommodating and courteous. I will be back!

So much better than the Honda HR-V

Traded in my 2018 Honda HR-V. No hassle with the rear latch. No distracting heater/air cond. controls. Better tech. More safety features. Better handling. A lot cuter too. Really, a great commuter. Very comfortable interior and tech is well implemented and minimally distracting. Only thing I would like better is if we could get the Hybrid version here in North America. Come on Toyota not everyone needs a vehicle the size/cost of a RAV 4!
