It should have been sent immediately after our last conversation, however due to the injury I suffered at work earlier in the year I have had two surgeries on my left wrist and I have been in a cast. The surgeries made me realize the dereliction of duty in not getting this letter of deep appreciation to you. When I entered your facility on July 3, I had not intention of making any decisions on my lease. Fortunately the timing was perfect in that I was able to visit with you directly. It is often said that purchasing a new car is an event that most people put at the top of their ???unpleasant experience??? list. It has been eight months since the accident and resulting injuries at work and I was dreading having to go through the lease renegotiation process. I appreciate the manner in which you gave me your complete attention and I quickly realized I was comfortable in our discussion and the numbers you were showing to me in regard to the lease and a 2016 vehicle. I also appreciate the information you were showing me regarding the TDI legal issue which affected my 2013 vehicle. Thank you for your honesty not only in word, but in deed. You showed me exact numbers and costs and were so instrumental in an easy and enjoyable transition. On top of all of your incredible assistance, you went to bat for me with Volkswagen Credit Services and were able to persuade them to waive the ???excess wear and use fee??? of $495.00. I almost fell off my chair when I heard that terrific news. Thank you again. You are indeed a 5 Star gentleman who went out of his way to waive those fees that totaled $845.00 (wear and use/disposition fee). I am so pleased with my new Jetta and I thank you for you help in every step of the transaction. It will always be my honor and pleasure to recommend Fairfax Volkswagen and I have already shared this good news with many of my friends and relatives. Hagstrom Note: In the parking lot at work someone did something to create three tiny scratches in the rear right fender. There are no dents. Please let me know the best way to handle this. Im sure it is best not to contact my insurance so I expect to pay to have these tiny dots removed. It bothers me not to drive my white beautiful Jetta in less that perfect condition.
