I first contacted Sandberg Volvo on a Friday morning, but our search began many days before. My wife and I previously owned a XC60 and we were set on the new Recharge Extended Range. We searched all dealers in WA, ID and OR looking for the best package and price. These models are limited and we expected a different experience than when we bought our first Volvo when the market was “normal.” Friday morning I combed the 250 mile dealer radius (we live in Olympia) and found a model we had not seen at any other dealer; a Polestar Engineered. Assuming this was ordered, pre-sold, or not available, I inquired about it through their automated buying process. Just before the dealership opened I received an email from sales consultant Fouad Fares and within minutes we were texting and conversing on the phone. Fouad and manager Bill Tapscott tailored the deal, we drove up the next day and the entire process was simple, transparent and by far the best car buying experience. All the staff were friendly and DJ in finance was also a pleasant surprise. We never felt pressured, all of our questions were answered and we left feeling a little bewildered because it was not at all what we expected in the best way. The only downside to the whole process was the drive from Olympia to Lynnwood. It was worth it and the drive back was amazing in our new XC60 Polestar Engineered Extended Range! Thank you again Fouad, Bill and DJ! We’re definitely making the drive again for our next Volvo! Hopefully this review gives you the confidence to consider and start your search with Sandberg Volvo. It will save you a lot of time and you won’t be disappointed.
2023 Volvo XC60 review
Very unusual SUV for a luxury model. Interior and exterior are well designed and made. There are numerous perks, such as having Google verbally operate many SUV functions. It’s a hybrid with a small battery that collects energy to provide minimal better gas mileage. Moving the steering wheel is manual. Very disturbing for a luxury vehicle. There is no interior mood lighting for night operating. Seat comfort and overall room is more than adequate. It has center steering which I love. Its heads-up display has minimal display options other than speed and directions. Overall, a nice SUV. Just takes some getting used to.

I had my XC60 serviced at the Volvo dealership on Burnside Ave in Portland Oregon. I have purchased my vehicles there since 1996. The service I received from Rich Glen this time is the same excellent service I received since 1996. We discuss the issue I am having and how it will be resolved. In some instances I might need a loaner car which is arranged and always looks like a new car. Rich gives me a timeframe for the repair and if for some reason it changes, Rich will call to let me know what the reason is. All of the service I received from Volvo and Rich Glen has been hands down excellent. This kind of customer service is far and few between. For example after the repair is complete, I get my car back washed and If I don’t have a discount coupon, Rich seems to find one. This kind of human touch, quality repair and service is hard to find in this slapdash, cold, AI environment. Finally I must say I have never had to bring my car back because of poor work. I was informed that if I had any issues, it would be taken care of. Rich I have known you for 26 years and it has been a pleasure.

John Mastroeni -- the Service Consultant went above and beyond for me when it came to Servicing my Volvo XC60 Inscription. Not only did he service my car, he dug into deeper detail of what was needed and put me back on the road safer and stronger then when I came in. He was kind enough to tell me -- in addition to service -- that I needed rotors, that a few fuses needed to be replaced, and he then situated me in a beautiful loaner car so he could take the necessary time to make the adjustments. When I returned I was pleased to see my car serviced, all dashboard lights of, in safer condition, fluids topped off and washed too. Simply outstanding service! There's no greater feeling than when you enter an establishment and the people there treat you with that "old school" customer service that feels long forgotten in this modern age. Not only am I a Volvo driver because of its sophistication, safety, class & modern technology, the staff at Volvo Ramsey more than represents the brand I have so much respect for. AMAZING SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I start off with those three words so even if you don't read this whole review you get the point. We were traveling through Augusta GA after evacuating from hurricane Ida that had just devastated the New Orleans area. All warning lights popped up on the dash of my 2016 VW Jetta SEL and the vehicle went in to limp mode. Zero power over 35mph. On top of the destruction of hurricane Ida back home in New Orleans now I have a car that just basically gave up on me. The already pit in my stomach became even larger and only the worst case scenarios were going through my head now. A Google search leads me to the amazing team at Gerald Jones Volkswagen and the magic begins. Expecting at least a two or three day hotel stay in Augusta my service advisor Charles Davis takes me in to his service drive and assures me that everything will be alright and immediately puts one of his top techs named Mr. Chris on the case. Turns out it was as simple as a wheel speed sensor that the parts specialist Candace Betsch had sitting on the shelf in the parts department. While waiting on my vehicle to be repaired and strolling through the new car showroom I was greeted by the nicest young lady by the name of Vickie McPhee who introduced herself as the General Manager and was just as sweet as could be making sure that I was doing okay with a true concern about our safety during this hurricane evacuation. She even went as far as to introduce me to one of the owners Mr. David Jones and we had a great conversation as well. Next thing I know my service advisor Charles was standing next to me telling me that the speed sensor had already been replaced and my vehicle after being washed and run through quality control was ready to go. This my friends is one heck of a car dealership that has employed a team of people that truly care about their customers no matter where they are from or what dealership the vehicle was purchased. Keep up the good work and "job well done!"
