After connecting with the Tony, the sales manager, I set up an appointment to see the car. The sales team was friendly and welcoming. I will disclose that I take an extremely detailed in my approach to buying a used car. Tony and his team accommodated my request to put the car on a lift, talk to his service manager, and get the car inspected in Maryland because the requirements are different state to state. In addition, Tony was flexible and straight shooting about the cost of his car and extremely transparent when discussing terms. Tony went the extra mile and addressed my concerns regarding specific items that caused the car to fail Maryland inspection. What I valued the most, was Tony's honesty during the process. Don't get me wrong the sales team are salesmen because they need to sell a car. But the experience was good because Tony went out of his way to be creative in order to make a deal. All in all it was a good experience.
2019 BMW X5 review
I love my X5 !!! It meets all my needs. There is enough space for the dogs and the kids. It drives great, it is very comfortable. Big enough but not too big. It tows well.

2019 BMW X5 review
I traded in my awesome Jeep 2015 SRT. Some creature comforts the Jeep has the X5 doesn't: stereo controls at the fingertips behind steering wheel is main one. Plus the cruise control was also at the fingertips on the steering wheel. X5s not so. I have to take my eyes off the road to look for the button. The steering wheel on the X5 is too thin. The Jeeps was thick and felt great. But I love the split tailgate on the X5! Easier access and doubles up as a trunk.

2021 BMW X5 review
I frequently change cars because I love to learn and experience new vehicles. I bought a new 2020 RR Defender and traded it after 5 months for the X5. I wasn't really looking for a new car but fell in love with the X5 while accompanying a friend on a test drive. I really like that it handles like an ultimate driving machine. And the drive characteristics are extremely customizable. It's quiet, quick and comfortable. No squeaks or rattles - the RR had a few. It's a solid German example of automotive excellence.

2025 BMW X5 review
Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.

2019 BMW X5 review
We take trips to Cashiers/Highlands NC frequently. The drive is just over 5 hrs an it flies by quickly as the car is so comfortable. The peppy V8 has lots of power to pass quickly on the highway when necessary. Once we get into the mountains it feels great to switch from Eco mode to sports mode to attack those tight turns :)

2020 BMW X5 review
1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. The best car buying experience I’ve had in my over 20 years buying vehicles. They were doing a complete remodel of the building and working out of trailers but still provided a top notch experience. My salesperson was Ceandria and she was the best car salesperson I’ve ever had, she played the biggest role in my overall experience at Passport BMW. From the first email I sent until the second I drove off the lot she was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Something you don’t see all the time in that profession. I had a few bad experiences at other DMV BMW’s dealerships (looking at you, Rockville) but here at Passport every step was great. Ceandria provided me with answers to any questions I had about BMW’s very quickly, confidently and with great knowledge whether via email, at the dealership or on the test drives. Even when I returned home the next day she reached out to see if I had any questions or concerns about the vehicle I purchased. The great experience didn’t stop at Ceandria. Once I went to finance to sign papers Hannah greeted me with a smile and made me feel at home just as Ceandria did earlier. Hannah was able to provide me with information about different payment options, rates and any available add-ons with great knowledge and understanding. She was very easy to talk to and easily described all of my options in purchasing my new car. It is easy to tell that both Ceandria and Hannah enjoy their jobs, do them exceptionally well and with confidence. Both made me feel at home. I traveled 2 1/2 hours and my next car buying dealership will begin and end with Passport.
2023 BMW X5 review
Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

Great car. Wish it didn't come with run flat tires which I believe lessens the quality of the ride, and they wear out quickly. Other than that, no real complaints. Car is truly the ultimate driving machine.

2021 BMW X5 review
I bought a 2021 BMW X5 4.0 with the M Sports Package and this had been one of best vehicles ever owned. The reliability, comfort and curb appeal adds to it value. I traded a 2016 Lexus GX 460 for the X5 and have no regrets!

2024 BMW X5 review
Purchased 2 months ago. Driven only 535 miles. Still on the dealership's tank of gas and have 300 mile range left on remaining gas. Most drives are within 10-15 miles of my home. A couple of 20-30 mile trips so far (40-60 miles round trip). At this rate, it could be 2024 before needing to fill the tank for the first time. Thrown the X5 into Sports Mode a few times to experience the power but routinely use electric only. Stable, great control, heads up display best I've seen, autobraking and sense of the road is great. Good visibility and neither too sporty or too luxury. It's just right.
