Chris Pingel did a great job, he was friendly and welcoming and helped me get the truck I wanted. The whole process took about an hr to hr and a half tops. This is me second sale to Carmax. The first sale went smoothly and everything they said was true! People who turn their car into the dealer are totally getting screwed. For example I turned in a 2020 c300 early this year. The payoff was $32k; I got $36k from Carmax. Unbelievable. However, companies like Mercedes allowed Carmax to pay off the lease. Now they require you to buy out the lease so you have to come up with the cash and then you have to wait until you get the title before you can go to Carmax. Sounds like a little anti trust behavior.

The buying process and everything else went smoothly. But there was one thing I didn?t get was carfax report about the vehicle. Other than that my salesman was a great salesman!
