2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2025 Ford Explorer review
This Explorer replaces a 2017 I loved. That car is still in the family. The Platinum Edition is fabulous, lots of bells and whistles. I choose to turn off the lane management system. It is somewhat aggravating. The automatic on off at stoplights can be irritating when you have a lot of stoplights. I will turn this feature off when I’m in traffic at a lot of lights. Otherwise, I keep it on. There is a great deal of new technology on the vehicle which is located on the center screen. It was not hard to learn, and although I’ve had this vehicle for a month I’m still learning a few things. This vehicle is a six seater with heated and ventilated seats. The back windows have screens, which is great when your transporting little children and anyone else the seats also have an automatic fold. This car will move quickly great pick up and even with a new car around town, I’m getting 20 1/half miles per gallon on regular gas. Although being a six seater, it is not too big. I had looked at a jeep which ran a good $13,000 more for the same features. The new body style on the Jeep was not appealing to a family member so we stuck with the Ford.

2017 Ford Explorer review
I have owned Toyota and Honda vehicles for years. I love the space and comfort of my Ford Explorer. However I'm at 68k miles and just had to have my transmission rebuilt. If I didn't love the comfort and ride of this vehicle so much, I would trade it in tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed and praying this vehicle will hold out to 200k miles.

2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

I bought a 2026 RAM 3500 from desoto on October 3rd and it was the best experience I have ever had. Very laid back, no pressure. I went down to take a look at the truck and it was exactly what I wanted, still no pressure to sell. I called back a few times to make sure the truck hadn't been sold and they assured me it had not. When I went down to purchase the vehicle. they had it detailed, gas tank full, and all of that but the reason I will never buy another car from anyone else is the fact that they were up front, extremely friendly. Called me a few times to give me an update. from the sales manager to the receptionist, totally friendly and respectful. I always dress down like short and t shirt when i go to shop and have walked into dealerships, they took one look and said, used cars are over that way. No such thing at Desoto. Gustavo, and Chad took extremely good, nonpressured, care of myself and family while we were there. Not to mention, they had the best price on my vehicle but a bunch, like 8000 a bunch. We have a Hot Pepper Red 2024 Ford Maverick XLT we ordered and took delivery of in Kentucky Feb. 2024. We wanted a second white one so we went online and found several available with exactly the options we desired. I responded to numerous dealer websites nearby to confirm what they had online was in fact still available. Jarrett was the most timely and effective communicator. I worked with their sales consultant Todd Rogers. The next day we took delivery of the Maverick. Everything went as presented with no problems or surprises. I have been buying new vehicles from dealerships for 60 years and Todd has been selling cars for over 40 years first in his northern home state and now in his Florida retirement state. I would say that means we have a hundred years of experience in the car selling and buying business between us. In all those years I have developed an ongoing personal friendship with three sales persons. I felt the same initial comfort level working with Todd. In closing everything about the dealership and staff we met was outstanding. We look forward to Jarrett Ford servicing and maintaining both of our Mavericks.
2017 Ford Explorer review
Bought this car in 2019 as my daily driver. It has enough space to transport my large and was very reliable until about 160,000 miles. Gasket seal and O2 sensors failed causing me $800 in repairs. Not super expensive, but like the previous review says check to see if there are any open recalls. Currently at 230,000 miles and still driving. If you follow the suggested maintenance schedule you'll be fine. If not, you'll be in for some trouble.

2025 Ford Explorer review
I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

I bought a 2026 RAM 3500 from desoto on October 3rd and it was the best experience I have ever had. Very laid back, no pressure. I went down to take a look at the truck and it was exactly what I wanted, still no pressure to sell. I called back a few times to make sure the truck hadn't been sold and they assured me it had not. When I went down to purchase the vehicle. they had it detailed, gas tank full, and all of that but the reason I will never buy another car from anyone else is the fact that they were up front, extremely friendly. Called me a few times to give me an update. from the sales manager to the receptionist, totally friendly and respectful. I always dress down like short and t shirt when i go to shop and have walked into dealerships, they took one look and said, used cars are over that way. No such thing at Desoto. Gustavo, and Chad took extremely good, nonpressured, care of myself and family while we were there. Not to mention, they had the best price on my vehicle but a bunch, like 8000 a bunch. Dont let anyone tell you differently. if you want a no pressure top of the line car shopping experience, before you settle with the big names around you, please do yourself a favor and look at Desoto. After a bit of confusion about whether the car was actually available, we found our way to the dealership and Jon had the car ready for us to look at and drive. We took the car out onto some construction roadways and were pleased with the ride on some very rough roads. Jon was able to share a little info about the car, but the CarFax that I was able to review before we came in was VERY helpful on making a decision about this car. When we sat down to put numbers together I was a bit shocked by the additional items that were not only "available" but were, apparently, added to this car and its cost. We were pleased that Sean and other management personnel were able to make the total cost down to a number that was about my budget but was acceptable. And, on top of, living more than 50 miles away and driving my wife's car in to look at this car, Sean worked it out so that they would deliver it to me on Monday, and that we VERY appreciated. The dealership facility is definitely not as fancy as some found in larger cities, but the people were nice and we were able to get the job done. The Cars.com page for this car did have some incorrect information. While this car is, apparently, SLT-1 it did NOT include some of the features indicated in the advertisement. This includes Navigation, 8 way drivers seat, and some other items. When I brought this to the attention of the dealership they noted that these ads are prepared by a third party, and I would assume that is Cars.com What I failed to get while at the dealership, or to print out on my own, was a copy of the CarFax report. After a couple of calls I finally got Jon and he almost immediately had that in my emai and I appreciated his effort. All in dealing with Arcadia Chevrolet was a positive experience.

Driving experience is great. Either engine is plenty of power but even the base 2.3l is very fast. Rear wheel drive bias is noticeable in driving dynamics making it fun to drive. The new Google based infotainment system one of the best in the industry in my opinion.. Almost don't even need a phone with how smart it is. Blue cruise is very convenient for long monotonous highway drives if equipped

2017 Ford Explorer review
I have had several Explorers all have been great vehicles. My newest is only a couple years old. I also still have a great running 26 year old with almost 200k miles. Never had a big or expensive problem with either. I can say the same for the BMWs, Mercedes and Infinity’s I have owned…Once these expensive vehicles warranty expired everything but their engine seemed to fall apart. My Fords are reliable and never break down (knock on wood) Not flashy like the imports but solid.

Honda of Fort Myers review
I came to Honda of Fort Myers to look at a vehicle and was kindly introduce to Travis. He truly was a wonderful salesman to work with. He took his time and povided great knowledge and support without putting pressure to buy. He made sure to walk me through the process best as possible. That being said. Other team members were not so great with the financial negotiation. At one point she literally almost talked me out of getting the vehicle. I felt like it was being interogated for my choice in getting the vehicle. I truly wanted to walk away but to Travis's credit and his great approach at handling customer service i decided to push through it. I have dealt with many car salesman and Travis truly is a major asset to Honda of Fort Myers. They received a sale all due to him and his guest service skills. This man deserves a raise or a manager position. He can definitely make the dealership grow in a positive way.
2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

2025 Ford Explorer review
I upgraded from a 2017 Explorer Sport to a 2025 Explorer ST. It handles better. It sounds better. It is faster. The interior is way better. The seats hug you. The infotainment system is fast and works really well.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

2019 Ford Explorer review
Love this vehicle!! Went from 2013 Chevy Malibu to this 2019 fully loaded Ford Explorer. Love the navigation, hands free phone, auto bright lights and Windsheild washer, remote start, sun roofs, back up camera, luggage racks, hitch andtowing capabilities, 3rd row seating and stowing, the Ford app, the Ford warranty, leather heated seats and steering wheel, and all the safety and other luxury accessories.
