My experience with Luther Kia of Bloomington (Minnesota) has been positive over several trips to the dealership. They treated me fairly and courteously. I feel they are concerned about my future needs with my 2022 Kia Soul which already has 68,000 miles on it. No major expenditures out of pocket so far with the exception of four new tires and a brake job which are ordinary. Best of all, I don't think the dealership misses anything to check. They're very thorough and bend over backwards to accommodate me, whether than means arranging a Lyft or bringing ina tech for a specific issue. The Service Writers keep me informed all along the way with progress and wait time expectations. I'm very impressed with the way they do things at Luther's Bloomington Kia!

I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

Christopher was an excellent sales consultant during a busy year-end with a more complicated sale that required shipping the vehicle out of state to a rather picky buyer (me). Compared to another dealer I contacted this experience was “night and day”. I’d definitely recommend others to consider working with this dealership at least for the sales experience. I particularly enjoyed the fact that Chris found another RSX driver amongst the White Bear employees to perform a brief road test of my eventual car to set my mind at some ease for a real-world experience. They also were fairly cooperative about most of my requests to “seal the deal” (minor touch-up/clean up items). My only suggestions would be to see about hastening the shipping experience if that’s even possible and put a bit more effort into detail of the car before listing for sale - the car had been in their hands for a couple of months and just needed a couple small detail items to make it close to perfect for selling a 20+ year old vehicle (these were the items I had to request at time of negotiation). Nice work overall - just looking forward to the shipper to arrive that will be a great day!

I had my 2020 Terrain for 5 years before I had any major issues out of it. My brake booster needed replaced. After about a month of it being out the shop someone hit and totaled it. Very sad day. I love my Terrain

The GMC Terrain is a very dependable auto that I have had no issues. The model is the AT4, which has the headsup display. Interior is nice with leather and all the electronics options.

I brought this truck in 2019. I kept taking it back to the dealership to get tweaked several times. Once it was figured out, never got any problems ever again. A little weak on the power side, but, other than that, its a magnificent vehicle. A total work horse. Great on gas. It is totally worth it.

READ PLEASE I love my Terrain. DO NOT get the 1.5 L. My engine has barely made it over 100,000 I have had $6k of repairs in less than a year. Things keep going wrong now. I had NO issues before. Catalytic converter went out 75-85k miles. My turbo was just replaced. Just beware of this type of engine… every mechanic that worked on it shared this is not uncommon for this type. I would definitely get another terrain but not the 1.5!

Myron was great. Very personable and not pushy. He didn't deal much on the price but it was below book and in the end we were happy with what we got. The vehicle is exactly what we were looking for. Was a wonderful experience!! Can’t say anything long term about the car, but it was the first time I had bought a car/gone to a dealership for myself. Trade in was SMOOTH! Got a good deal for my old buick and got a NICE upgrade to a 2023 subaru!! In love with it and all its features! I really enjoy the Terrain. Traded in our beloved Mercedes R350. It was dream to driving on the highway. Our list for new vehicle was easy to get in and out without climbing up or down. No leather seats, hate leather seats, panoramic roof, engine power, get up and go, some luxurious in the vehicle, an easy info console. Before we took a test drive, we did our following tests. How easy to get in and out of the vehicles, leg space (our son is 6'4"). Only wanted two row seating, comfort seating. We checked all other makes. Spend awhile day going from different Dealerships of different makes and models. Didn't want to speak to car salesman, just let us do our preliminary test, on different makes and models. Then we look at the warranties. Finally took take a test drive. Was blown away at the get up and go of the Terrain, pleasantly surprised at the safety features and options it comes with. After almost a month, trips outside the city to the mountains and back. We are really happy with the purchase of the Terrain. Seven years warranty bumper to bumper, ten years on the powertrain. The true fuel economy really surprised me, it doesn't bother me that I have use 91 fuel because of the 2 liter engine. Had to use it on the Mercedes so no change there.

To be honest, this SUV impressed me with the great performance even with the small 1.5 liter engine, and huge space inside, it rides like a bigger vehicle, very responsive on the highway and very quiet cabin. My wife really liked it.

Had to replace faulty tire pressure sensor. Done while I waited, in less than an hour. BK was an excellent service advisor and got immediate extended warranty approval.

What a great experience! We were able to speak with a salesperson right away. He took us on a pre-planned test drive with a variety of roads. After agreeing to purchase the car, it was only a short time to get all the paperwork in order. Our experience was seamless, and would definitely recommend. I purchased my 2016 GMC Terrain SLT in 2018 as a gently used vehicle with only 21,000 miles on it. I never had issues with it. I kept it regularly serviced and had to replace tires. At now over 93,000 it has been a comfortable and very reliable car. The only feature I wished it had was rear air conditioning. Living here in the SE it gets hot and it takes a “minute” to get the back of the vehicle cooled down. However, I rarely have back seat passengers, and thankfully, the really hot weather lasts only a few months! I have been very pleased with this car and would recommend it to others. I traded it in a week ago for a larger car only because I need the room for a grandchild, and my elderly parents.
