I enjoyed my test drive experience and the staff was attentive. However, the rep who worked with me and my boyfriend insisted on accompanying us on the test drive. No other rep had joined us at other lots, either private or dealership, so it seemed like more pressure and less privacy. We also had to tell the dealer that we’d meet him inside after talking privately. Again, pressure. That, plus no acknowledgement of the need for cosmetic repairs—duct tape under the seat, a hole worn through the driver’s car mat—made it fairly easy to walk away from a decent car.

It was a bit difficult because they were renovating at the time I was there and they usually have a kids area. I?m sure it will be a little easier when everything is finished. The only slow part was actually signing the papers for the vehicle purchase because the business office was behind and what was originally predicted to me to take one hour took almost 2.5 hours.
2025 Honda CR-V review
We recently upgraded to a Honda CR V. It is very comfortable and has almost everything we need. The only drawback is that SiriusXM radio is only available through the app on our phone. Otherwise it is very user friendly.

June 30, 2026 It was Sunday June 28, 2026 at about 10:30 PM at night on our drive home to Illinois when we experience a brake system failure, there was a loud squealing on the rear brakes without even stepping on it and then later was a loud grinding noise. Since I had my family of four with me, and for the safety of everyone, I decided to exit the nearest town and drop off the van to the nearest available Honda dealer service center. Drop it off, hoping that it will get fixed the next day. The Honda dealership was Herson’s Honda at Frederick, Maryland. Herson's Honda - New & Used Honda Dealership That night, there were already 12 cars dropped off ahead of us and I was the 13th drop off. I took the chance and will just wait for the car to be fixed the next day. We stayed in a nearby hotel and rented a car near the Honda dealership. MONDAY Morning, My wife and I drive to Honda the next morning to check the repair status of the van. My overall experience with Herson’s Honda was more than I expected. It was outstanding! 1. Cleanliness: area is clean and organized. 2. Staff: I was immediately welcomed by one of the service advisors and was directed to the service advisor who was assigned to my car. 3. Service Advisor: his customer service was outstanding from start to finish. His name is JAMES SPRADLIN. 4. Empathy: James understood my feelings and frustration and concerns and the need to drive the family home but theres other customers who were ahead of me with appointment. But James constantly monitored repairs in progress. The next day i received a text from Honda dealership of possible repair and parts to be ordered asap. 5. James constantly provided me an update thru the app. I like that app. Shows all, cost, diagnosis and the choice to accept repairs or not. Thank you James. It was really helpful to relieve a lot of stress and worries if the car will be fixed soon OR get stuck in Maryland. 6. Service and Repair: Diagnosis and recommendations were was as I expected. Technicians were honest and did a good repair on the brakes. It also did more damage to tue caliper which I also suspected. 7. Cost was regular labor and parts. No issues with it. Lives and safety are more important and irreplaceable. Money can be replaced. 8. TUESDAY June 30, the job was completed Tuesday evening. UPDATE: its almost 600 miles since we left Herson’s Honda and the van is rolling great. had no issues. Thank you all especially to James OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and the honest technicians diagnosis which were all correct! God bless you all. 5 stars to Herson’s Honda at Frederick, Maryland. I received a loner vehicle while my 2014 ES 350 Mark Jacobson Lexus stayed overnite at Chantilly. I woke up today January 24 full of brightness started my loaner Lexus and off we went. I did one errand and was prepared to return the loaner. Engine refused to turn over. Called my Lexus service rep Hetty Stoner and turned me over to Lexus Roadside Assistance. Came with in 45 minutes and off we went to Chantilly. Constructive tips- please give a loaner with at least half tank of gas and inform customer as to start up procedure in every loaner vehicle. Weather permitting make sure all loaners have been cleaned and washed for eye candy effect. First cabin not log cabin. I love Pohanka Lexus. 2025 Honda CR-V review
The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.
