2024 Kia K5 review

I stopped in there while I was treying to negotiate a deal with a competing dealership as they had a demo 2025 Sorento with 3k miles. I mert with Justice Hodges whow as personable, professional and listened to what I was looking for. We took a test drive and looked at other vehicles that were in the realm of what I was looking for. He didn't waste my time which I appreciated. Unfortunately (I thought), a deal couldn't be made. 30 minutes after leaving the dealership he called me with something I never considered. Cut to the chase, he and his GM put me in a 2026 Sorento AND met my down payment and financing terms. Done Deal!! Finished the paperwork the next day with Dean of finance. Justice was outstanding in every aspect and it's been a VERY long time when I've felt this way about s salesperson. If you're in the market, go see Justice- he's the man!

2024 Kia K5 review
My wife and I extremely enjoy our new 2024 K5 Ex purchased courtesy’s of Waylan Hubbard sales representative and the LAWTON KIA TEAM in OKLAHOMA. We especially enjoy the KIA Access mobile remote options! The gas mileage, reliability, performance modes, luxury, Bose stereo system, interior & exterior design is beyond words! I would recommend this automobile over Cadillac, Lexus, and Jaguar being a previous owner of each including the 1998 Concours Deville and 2003 Escalade. The 2024 K5 rates a 4.9 by TruCar ratings over the 2024 Tesla Model 3 receiving a 4.5 rating, also over the 2024 Cadillac CT4 receiving a 4.6 rating. 2025 Kia K5 review
I only had the car 1 month but drove it to Florida (all around) and back and put on 3,500 miles. My car is a GT-Line, Wolf Grey with the Red interior, Bose speakers etc. The car is a real pleasure to drive. Very Quiet on the road, and my mileage exceeded the 37 mpg epa rating, and that’s while maintaining speeds of 80 mph with 2 people and fully loaded with luggage. Little if any wind noise. Note that at times I hit much higher speeds not knowing since it was so quiet & smooth. The engine RPM was mostly between 2 to 2.1 at 80mph. The power of the 2.5 liter is good, and slightly better than the 2019 Camry I had, which was a very good car as well. The Bose system sounded great, and all the alert sensors and some other sensors like keeping your car steering between the lines worked very well, but I preferred to turn that off most of the time. If you turn on your turning signals to changing lanes, and a car is present, not only does your side mirrors alert you, but you’ll get sound notices and the steering wheel will vibrate. Triple redundancy. The handling is very good, and secure, brakes are excellent and has a very good feel to them. A very important note is, I appreciate that the 2.5 engine has both Direct & Port Injectors on each cylinder. Port injectors will help cleaned the valves and clear any carbon build up. This is the same arrangement my Camry 2019 had which greatly reduces or eliminates carbon buildup in these Direct Inject Engines. The Nav system worked flawlessly and quickly. I also love you can remotely start your car with the key FOB (No additional charge) or with Kia Connect though Kia connect is only free the 1st 3 years. Also, happily, it doesn’t have the stop & start engine control which can cause more wear on your starter motor with little gain on MPG. The seats are very comfortable as I can attest driving 12 hours straight on my first stop. The car’s 8 spd auto shifted smoothly in all conditions. Plenty of room inside. Lot of storage in the console area for incidentals and drinks. I enjoyed the Panoramic roof. The negative was the Combine toggle Climate & Media control is a bit counter intuitive and sometimes causes more effort to control. Trunk space is good, as I had lots of luggage. The car feels solid & hopefully reliable down the line. The only other negative which is because I do my own oil changes etc, is this car takes a Cartridge oil filter (Not spin on) and takes 6.1 quarts of oil, (Not 5 qts) but I knew this well before I bought it but it’s location and design is good. So it’s not a real big deal, but this will cost a little more for oil changes. Recommended oil chg is 7,500 but I’ll be doing it every 5 to 6K for sure. BTW recommended oil is 0 -30W. Based on my limited time but very heavy usage I highly recommend this car, and I really enjoy driving it. Very sporty looking.

2023 Kia K5 review
Too early to rate reliability, but so far I'm loving my 2023 K5 GT-Line. I absolutely love the styling and interior, though the seats are not the best I've been in (though not bad), and I have a hard time seeing the turn signal indicators even with the wheel tilted all the way up (I'm 5' 11"). Power with the base engine is adequate, and I'm thrilled that it does NOT have a CVT - it's got a good old torque converter-style 8 speed transmission. Gas mileage is better than rated by the EPA. Good tech and a very good set of safety features. I few nits to pick, but overall for the price I feel this is the best value in a sedan on the market today. Did I mention I love the styling?

2021 Kia K5 review
I’m in love with this car. I love the features with my EX trim. Heated/cooled seats. Sunroof and wood grain interior. The only issue I have is I’ve never owned a car with CVT. It feels a bit odd at times compared to my previous cars. But anything is better than dealing with Ford’s DCT.

2022 Kia K5 review
Took the family to Vegas for a week. Enterprise have me the choice between the Malibu, Charger and K5. My youngest didn't want the grey Malibu and I didn't want to pay for the gas on the Charger with the V8. So we went with the black K5. I drive a SUV so it took some time to use to bending down to get into he car. Once we started driving I noticed how smooth and quiet the car was. The car accelerated with ease and the braking made you feel safe. My Dodge Journey is 2015 and doesn't have all the new tech. The K5's blindspot and car In front of you leaving warnings are great features. Although the K5 had great features the only negative I had was the infotainment unit. The unit worked just fine, I just didn't like how it was integrated. It looks as it was installed as an afterthought. Looks like it was just inserted like a Lego piece, I would prefer it flush in the dash.

We drove all the way from Texas to Kansas. We went to two dealerships by our home looking for our next vehicle, but I didn't like the service. My husband found the exact SUV I was looking for at Cable Dahmer, after we were told locally that they were not making that vehicle yet. When I spend money on something I'm looking for authenticity. My husband handlied the deal, and I know he had a great experience. What I loved is Nick Madrigal's energy! His excitement while sending us a video of a SUV that we never saw in person, hoping that we would like it in person was infectious. His excitement when we all met for the first time when we were picking up our vehicle. I was looking to buy from a person that was authentic and loved what he was doing. That's Nick! What made us drive 7 hrs to Lawrence, we didn't have to we chose to, is Nick and the experience to date. Once there everyone treated us like family. As we left the state driving back home, my husband and I both said we we were so glad we bought from Nick Madrigal, he made this experience the way it should be. I very much appreciate receiving the service reminders--I really love my 2023 Kia Forte, and want to keep it in tip-top shape, so this assistance is invaluable. I've been driving for ages. This is the first time I've taken a car in to a dealership for servicing, and I must say I am very pleasantly surprised. This visit was to check out the brakes, and I was informed they were just fine--no servicing required. I compare this to the last time I went to a mechanic's garage with another car and paid thousands for repairs, only to learn not too long afterward from a mechanic friend that there was no way the parts they installed--and I paid top dollar for--were original parts. To realize that Tobin Kia, in addition to being a very clean and professionally run operation, with friendly and efficient Customer Service people such as Krissy, is also conducting their business honestly, is so encouraging in this day and age. Of course, I'm extremely likely to recommend them to others.

Other dealers were unwilling to discount the vehicle that I purchased, but not only did Mr. Handy discount the new vehicle, he also offered me significantly more for my trade than other dealers, and did so without any agonizing negotiations. The Finance Manager, Rich Ruby, completed all of the paperwork in less than ten minutes, which I didn’t even think was possible. Seriously, it was like a magic trick. Not having to wait around and getting to drive away almost immediately in my new truck was awesome. There are a lot of Ford dealers much closer to where I live in the Columbus area, but I will absolutely and without hesitation drive over two hours (one way) to purchase my next vehicle at Spitzer Ford. Outstanding customer focus.

2024 Kia K5 review
Forward collision is dangerous it slams on the brakes and have you spinning. Roof is too low. Speakers are not good. Exterior falls apart very cheaply made car. Great on gas great body design. Love the synthetic leather & the infotainment screen.

2025 Kia K5 review
For the money, probably the best car I've owned. For the price, value for dollar, it's unbeatable. Excellent safety features, great fuel economy, unbeatable warranty, and comfortable. An amazingly quiet ride, bettering many that cost twice as much. I think it looks great too, especially with the 18" wheels
