2012 Toyota Camry review
Bought my '12 Camry SE used at 100k. Its been an ideal commuter for me. Its now at 222k as of this morning. Here's what I have replaced: Brake Light Switch ($250 at dealer) Blower Motor (bought myself for $45, super easy to change) Spark plugs (preventative maintenance), $250 at dealer Toyota OEM water pump (preventative maintenance) about $1k at Toyota dealer Beyond this, two sets of tires. Brakes all around. Oil changes. I always do my own oil changes. The power door locks have never worked right. I live with it, no big deal I live in a safe area. It has the "dreaded" torque converter shudder around 40-50 mph. Hasn't gotten any better, but hasn't gotten any worse either. I live with it. The car runs fantastic. Idles smoother than my Cadillac Escalade, and cruises 80 mph with ease, and thats just with the 4 cylinder (mine has the 2AR-FE). Best vehicle I have ever owned, thats for sure. I plan to drive this until it doesn't make financial sense to fix something that breaks (which knock on wood, I don't see that happening for a long time). Love my Camry. Best car I have ever purchased. Period.

My 2025 Chevy Colorado is fun to drive. The ZR1 engine has plenty of power considering it’s a four-cylinder engine. I am very much a person who prefers an eight cylinder when it comes to a truck. I was pleasantly surprised when I drove this truck with a four-cylinder engine. This truck has a lot of power and get up and go, especially when it comes to passing other vehicles. 2021 Subaru Ascent review
7th Subaru for this Alaskan. This is the best I’ve ever had. Bought the Touring edition, new, & still blown away by the rig. Tested out with a cross country camping trip & comfort, adaptability, utilities, dependability - all a 5. Took a tent, but not even needed, w/firm foam to create a level, comfy bed area. Now I get why my cousin tried to replace his Ascent Touring with a Lincoln Navigator. Ended up selling the Nav to go back to an Ascent Touring. The first Sub I’ve had that Dad proclaimed ‘comfortable’ and ‘perfect’. I chose the Captains chairs for the 2nd seat, and passengers have loved the comfort & their view, as well as their controls, drink holders, etc. I love the options to simply control everything. Almost killed by a drunk driver long ago, I keep a very close eye on everything around me. Visibility in this rig is mind blowing. And that’s on top of all the cameras that monitor what’s happening. Safety features are perfect. Like listening to music, radio, podcasts? Sound in the Touring edition is heavenly. Very, very impressed with this rig.

2022 Chevrolet Tahoe review
I traded my 2021 BMW M8 Competition. What a change! I love the fact that my RST is Dark Ash Grey with little hue of purple in direct sunlight. Absolutely stunning. Performance when needed, can haul whole family in comfort, amenities and useful space, nice not too flashy styling with 22" black rims, and most importantly, I can put regular unleaded at any gas station! Long way Chevrolet have come with Tahoe. Great improvement in reliability and styling. I prefer this over GMW Yukon or Cadillac Escalade.

2022 Dodge Challenger review
I absolutely LOVE this car! Mine is the SXT base trim with the Pentastar V6 engine, purchased used at 37,000ish miles, but it is still the best car I’ve ever owned or driven. It is extremely comfortable to sit in (I am 5’10), on par with the comfort of my dad’s old ‘87 Camaro, which was also incredibly comfortable. It’s not a cramped space to sit in and the console is a comfortable arm rest height. But family conscious buyer beware, this isn’t a family friendly car; there’s pretty much no legroom in the back of the car. Maybe if you’re short and very skinny you could fit well, but taller or heavier folks will definitely not fit in the back. I certainly struggled to fit just to pull the seat down to extend the trunk space! The headrests of the backseats are a little tall and don’t let the front seats click back up all the way unless you pull the bucket seats up really far which is a little annoying but as someone who doesn’t lug around much it’s not something I’m really frustrated with. The trunk is super spacious! It rides very smoothly on the absolute garbage roads here in Western Washington (we have some of the worst roads in the US). Still bumpy because the potholes are insane, but smoother than our my parents vehicles and my old car (2011 Kia Soul). The audio controls on the steering wheel are mounted on the back which was odd to me initially but I have quickly adapted to their placement and make use of them a ton with Apple Music. Speaking of music, the base 6 speaker audio system sounds phenomenal as it comes; loud and I can really feel the drums and bass on higher volumes which I love, though I’ll be adding a subwoofer at some point. Let the music play! The engine and transmission run and function well and shifts smoothly in both regular and sport driving mode; I love sport mode, the slight engine sound difference and touchier throttle is fun, but it does reduce fuel efficiency a bit so I don’t use it too terribly much. I do wish the car was fitted with a cat-back exhaust system so it at least has the sound of a muscle car (where’s the allure in a muscle car, particularly one that revives the classics in a modern form, that has a quiet engine?) while retaining the more dependable and fuel efficient motor. That is something I will be saving up to change out, but that’s just me; for many that doesn’t matter, but is something to note if you are an avid lover of classic muscle cars and want to enjoy its allure even if you can’t afford the higher trims with the V8s, I certainly couldn’t; but that’s okay, I still cherish this car and appreciate the reliability of the V6 as a lower income individual. One thing I really don’t like (but chose to live with as I love the car to death otherwise) is that a lot of the climate control features are “locked” behind the infotainment screen; making it a big distraction and hassle to change between max or regular air conditioning and the which fans are blowing. The only buttons for it is a dial for fan strength, an off switch, an auto button, defrosters, and the AC on/off button. The USB and aux plug ins are inside the console, which is kind of awkward, but I actually like that as it makes you put your phone in the console (unless you have a long cord, mine is coiled) which prevents it from being a distraction. There is a moderate blind spot, but it is easily corrected with *properly* angled side mirrors. All in all I love this car and couldn’t recommend it more than I do. 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
Bought the CX-90 in early Feb. 2024 and immediately drove across the country and back. No issues at all. After 4,000 miles, the actual performance was consistent with all of the video reviews. Very comfortable interior with high end feel.Apple Car Play worked seamlessly with GPS system Waze. Hands free controls was smooth and prompt. PHEV experience was solid. Love the charging prioritization feature while driving. Takes about 2 hours on the highway to reach a full charge so that at destination you can operate on EV mode. At home, Level 1 charge takes about 10 hours (overnight) Wish the 26 mile EV range was more like 50 but maybe in future models. Combined MPG with 98% highway driving on the road trip was 25.5 mpg. Overall, so far so good. Vey happy with the purchase.

2024 Dodge Durango review
The prices are always way above what they should be😶.So that's why there was a 4 starwith pricing, but the interior I find the compartments hold dirt and capture things. Lots of cubbies. There is no way to clean out without deep cleaning other than that, the inter is fine with is looks. Electronics a little complicated. I have never seen a car with this color leather seats🤔.But they are growing on me☺️. Other than those things this car is absolutely perfect. Had a lot of zip to it with the 3.6 v6 engine. I love the way it drives. I love the way it maneuvers, and it's very classy looking

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
I am very happy with my purchase. I already owned a 2018 CX-5 and it never gave me any problems so I had no qualms about purchasing another Mazda. I went with the CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus for the horsepower and the extra perks (i.e. automatic folding mirrors, and I like that the side mirrors also turn down to see the curb when parking, front AND rear cameras, panoramic sun/moonroof, speed display in windshield, heated and ventilated cooling seats, and a 12-speaker Bose Stereo system). I love the extra power of the Turbocharged engine that my CX-5 doesn't have. The things I don't care for: 1) the retractable cargo cover (a $250 addl charge) doesn't attack to the lift (like my CX-5 does. It's much more convenient if it's attached so there's no pulling it out each time you need to put something in the trunk; 2) I don't like that I have to turn off the automatic shut off of the engine at stops and that I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. I'd like there to be an option to turn it off indefinitely unless and until I want to turn it on; 3) I would also love it if the driver and front passenger seats raised a bit higher. I'm not short but I would feel more comfortable if the seat height lifted another couple of inches. Overall, I really love my car. The steering is tight and the ride is more comfortable than I expected, and the inside of the cab is quiet and the stereo is premium. The seats are attractive with the light colored stitching to accent the seats. Because of all the features in my model, I got a lot of bang for my buck as opposed to a more expensive car costing $20K more for all the same features with Mazda reliability as well as more reasonable/affordable maintenance costs. I had a BMW several years ago and, once out of warranty, the maintenance is ridiculously costly. Additionally, the service department at the dealership where I purchased my car is top notch and the transparency for maintenance is appreciated! In the last 7 years of owning a Mazda, I have never had a bad experience.

2024 Cadillac XT6 review
No issues and it is much better than electric cars. Safer and much less expensive to own. Also much more convenient for normal driving .Not weekly range anxiety as I had when I owned an electric car. Never buy electric again.
