2025 Subaru Outback review
We have owned two Outbacks and have enjoyed them both. They are great to drive and very safe. My only complaint would be the touch screen, and only because I prefer buttons and knobs. But overall we love the car and would recommend it.

“CHECK ENGINE” Started my vehicle and the check engine light stayed on. Drove to Austin Subaru without an appointment, where the service advisor (Donovan Rybachak) plugged in the diagnostic tool to retrieve the failure code. Further investigation was needed. Donovan arranged for a loaner and I was able to continue with the task for the day. Donovan got back to me within the expected time frame with the results of the diagnostics and outlined the options. We agreed on how to proceed, noting that parts needed to be ordered. Once the replacement was available, the repair was completed. Overall a good experience with Donovan and Austin Subaru.

Two years ago Jose R assisted us with a Mazda Miata MX 5 purchase for my husband. The car we wanted was ordered online and the purchase was quick, painless and easy! Routine service at the dealership has also been great w/constant communication & a video of the service details texted after complete. In December, Jose reached out to us asking if we wanted to look into a newer MX-5 which we actually were debating even b4 his outreach. We made an appt, fell in love with the newer MX-5 and actually at the same time purchased a CX-50 Turbo for me and I love it! I have never in my life written a positive review for a car dealership but Mazda North has been beyond amazing. The team we worked with - Jose, Alex, Dave in finance and Beth - were all incredible - efficient, helpful, understanding of a customers time, honest and just fun to work with. I went in for a test drive. I’d called ahead and the vehicle (CR-V hybrid) was pulled up front and ready to go. A quick interaction with the manager and the salesman (which may have gone faster because I was already in their system from a prior visit) and we were off on a good test route. The salesman, Sasha, was knowledgeable about his product and easy to converse with, and asked good questions to get a feel for what I was looking for. No hard sell. If all dealership interactions were this efficient, effective and pleasant people would feel more positively toward dealership relationships.

I honestly wasn’t sure it would be possible, but he never gave up. The team got me approved and into a brand-new, reliable, and honestly pretty sexy vehicle with very little red tape. JJ and Gloria both stayed well past closing, and they never once made me feel rushed. They were friendly, patient, and genuinely seemed happy to help. After the sale, Gloria had to make a few adjustments to the paperwork. Her communication was excellent, she responded quickly, and we had everything taken care of within minutes. This level of customer service is hard to find. JJ has absolutely earned our family’s business, and he’s already working on finding the perfect vehicle for my husband.
