Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

Started service in a timely manner and finished in the time they said it would take to complete. Ian Wooley is my service advisors and always does an excellent job. I wouldn't go anywhere else to service my Subaru.

I love this car. Could use a little more leg room… and some of the door trim could match better, but overall, the car is absolutely amazing!

2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

The Touring XT has all the bells and whistles of a luxury SUV for a lower price point. The extra turbo thrust is impressive! It has a very comfortable ride for long trips.

Upon arrival, Carlos Terrazas-Alvarado, my service advisor, greeted me in less than sixty seconds. He then provided a thorough rundown on what to expect during my visit. During my stay I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and how professional the staff was. After about an hour, Carlos came to me and walked me through the results of the inspection utilizing great customer service skills coupled with his vast knowledge of the Nissan product. I traded in my 2015 Outback and am now one month into driving my 2023 vehicle which I quite like. But I have a serious complaint about the new headlight system Subaru is using. I drive many unlit country roads that have quite a few short but somewhat steep hills. When heading on a flat the low beam lights do an okay, not great but okay, job of illuminating the road in front (the2015 was better). But when heading downhill, the line of decmarcation between the lit and unlit field of vision area often does not seem to extend far enough forward to allow me to see even 25 yards ahead. When traveling at 35 or 40 mph, I find this dangerous and unnerving. While driving 35 mph downhill on a 40 or 50 yard stretch of the road on 2/18/23 I was unable to see far enough forward and therefore slow down in time before hitting a cat. Additionally, the display screen requires me to take my eyes off the road far too often to see what control I might be touching, be that a temperature control, a radio station, or something else. Those things not withstanding I like the car.

We have owned two Outbacks and have enjoyed them both. They are great to drive and very safe. My only complaint would be the touch screen, and only because I prefer buttons and knobs. But overall we love the car and would recommend it.

I had an excellent experience with Arrowhead, was pleasantly surprised since as a former prosecutor and Arizona Assistant Attorney General I was expecting the worst buying a used car. I'd already been by one dealership previously looking for a Mustang and didn't like the extra things they were insisting on adding on. Well Noah exceeded my expectations. He was extremely honest on all of the numbers, didn't try to pull any fast ones on me, and was very pleasant and helpful to deal with. The finance manager was also equally honest and upfront, did not try to upsell me on things I wasn't interested in. If you want an honest dealership that is professional and easy to deal with, I strongly recommend Arrowhead BMW. They made what could have been a miserable experience pretty enjoyable. I had my mechanic inspect the car after I bought it and it was in as impeccable condition as promised. Now if only all dealerships could be this excellent.

I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

Owned this car since I ordered it new. Limited trim was worth it! At 167,000 miles I have only done routine maintenance. Synthetic Mobil 1 since I got it. Original front brakes, rears replaced only once. Solid, great mpg always. Rated at 22/29 and I routinely exceeed both by 2-3 mpg. Great in snow! CVT has NEVER given me any issues. I’ve towed boats and trailers within the 2700# specified limit without a concern. This car has been a tank and still looks like new. Paint is great, no rust or plastic degradation at all.

The price was really the price, no hidden extra charges, fees for cleaning it etc... Randi was personable, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

I lucked into finding a returned leased 2020 Outback in July of 2022. Beautiful white exterior, drives like my '13 Legacy (handed down to my daughter, thus the new car for me!). Apparently Outbacks and Legacies have the same body frame, and driving this new Outback is a dream! This is my 4th Subaru and I absolutely, without a qualm, recommend them for handling, snow, comfort, style, cargo capability. After reading the reviews here, I can agree with two issues: battery and display screen. I also had a dead battery with no apparent reason. The dealership went over the car looking for a "battery draw," but found nothing wrong. They replaced it (under warrantee), and THE NEXT DAY the new battery was also dead. The explanation was this new battery had come from a warehouse and should have been charged before installation. No charge to me and no problems since, but definitely an inconvenience. The second drawback I would mention is the display screen. Way overwhelming, hard to find the functions to change driver assist et. al., and too difficult to drive while trying to change your heat, seat temp -- basic controls that should not require the driver to look down so much and for so long. No issues with operation of the screen. Finally, and maybe this was a one-off experience, I had to have the hood repainted because a leaf had left a weird stain right in the center of the hood. I cannot claim the stain was there when I got the car, but we tried every safe method (including wet sanding) to remove it and it was under the finish (according to the body shop). I'd venture to guess it came off the assembly line like that and it was fairly faint until you noticed it. Finally, I am strongly loyal to the dealership, as they have done right by me in many situations. They are fair, give me clear explanations and warn me about upcoming repairs, considerate, and have on more than one occasion checked a warrantee on my behalf to get me a better price.
