This is a great place to buy a car! Everyone was very friendly and seemed to be really enjoying themselves. I feel like I got a great deal on my car and it wasn’t like fighting a tiger to get a good deal. Overall, it was a really good experience!
Tuesday I went into the dealership knowing that I wanted to trade in my car. I worked with Kenzi Phippen over the phone before steeping foot into the dealership. Right off the bat they offered me 3K more for my trade (without even seeing it) than another dealership did and they ended up giving me 5K more for my trade!
I didn't even know what exactly I wanted. I gave the sales manager and Brandon the information on what I wanted, they pulled up multiple vehicles and gave me many options.
I have worked in the dealership world for over 5 years, and am very versed in the purchasing of a vehicle. I can HANDS DOWN say this was the EASIEST car buying experience I have ever had, or witnessed.
Props to Brandon, Kenzi, and Ren. I've already refereed a few friends, have talked to many people about my wonderful experience, and will continue spreading the word.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
I live in St Louis and had been looking for the right car for a while. I found the perfect 2013 Subaru Forester on LSH’s website and put the car on hold after talking to Leslie. She was very helpful and made the process easy.
I flew into KC and picked up the car yesterday. Austen and Darryl helped me to close the sale. They had already detailed the car and prepared paperwork before I arrived. All I had to do was test drive, talk about financing/warranties and sign. The paperwork didn’t take long, they made sure I was 100% comfortable with everything, patiently answered all of the questions I had, (I’m not very knowledgeable about cars and likely asked some stupid questions!) and had me out the door in about two hours. It was not the all day, stressful situation I’ve learned to expect from other dealerships!
This was definitely the best experience I’ve had buying a car. The entire staff seemed very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend going to them!

Just had my vehicle service! Brian Perry and his crew did a great job and provided me with factual information on my vehicle needs. No pressure to sell me anything extra. Carefully inspected the vehicle and made recommendations on current issues and long term upkeep. The techs are great and respect my vehicle like their own! I recently purchased a Forester Subaru at Briggs Auto in Lawrence, Kansas.
John Warren , Sales Professional, is a very good listener with a great sense of humor! He was very resourceful in the process of my choosing a new car: One that met my wants, needs, and financial requirements! It was amazing! The entire Briggs staff are so professional with a caring attitude! I would highly recommend this very positive experience for all.
After looking at the recalls on other brands, I found that Subaru did not have any at that time. Very satisfied with the trade in price when we decided on the Outback. It was pleasant experience, with no sales pressure, from John Warren. Everyone at Briggs Subaru have been pleasant to deal with including the service department and other employees.
I like the friendliness of the staff---both sales and service. I also like the small town feel of the shop. I like the fact that they make me feel like a person, not a number. Chad Smith in service and Trevor Ball in sales both do a great job.
The sales associate, Trevor Ball was incredibly helpful in helping me with all my questions and I never felt pressured or forced at anytime while I was there looking at vehicles. He made the process of buying a car incredibly easy and painless.
