2015 Acura RDX review

I was there today because, as it turns out, the service team damaged a tire pressure sensor a few weeks ago when replacing one of my tires. So the fact that I was there at all was very annoying. But I was treated courteously, given a reasonable expectation of how long it would take, (that time estimate was accurate) and a clear statement that the problem was due to an error by the service department. I appreciate that acceptance of accountability. The oil change and car wash was nice, too.

2017 Jeep Cherokee review
I have the Trailhawk trim, the serious off-road version. Finally, a car that I can confidently drive in and out of rough construction sites, and not be afraid that I'll break it or get it stuck. It is possessed by a powerful spirit of wanderlust, and frequently demands that I take it on drives just to see places it hasn't yet been, preferably places that normal cars cannot go. If Don Quixote de La Mancha lived in our time, he would surely drive a vehicle like this one; a vehicle truly fit for a modern Knight Errant. I didn't know until a few days after I bought it, and I don't think the dealership knew either, but this one has about a 2" aftermarket lift, and slightly larger tires than stock.

This is a very beautifu vehicle, very dependable but the gas mileage could be better. With all of the new technology, it is somewhat difficult to remember all of the various control panel options. Also the owner’s manual is very skimpy.

2017 BMW X3 review
STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

2021 GMC Terrain review
READ PLEASE I love my Terrain. DO NOT get the 1.5 L. My engine has barely made it over 100,000 I have had $6k of repairs in less than a year. Things keep going wrong now. I had NO issues before. Catalytic converter went out 75-85k miles. My turbo was just replaced. Just beware of this type of engine… every mechanic that worked on it shared this is not uncommon for this type. I would definitely get another terrain but not the 1.5!

2026 GMC Terrain review
We traded in our 2019 Buick Encore for this Terrain. Let's just say WOW on the room and comfort. We travel back and forth from NC to Ohio as family lives in both States. Well the Encore was nice on gas but not comfortable on long trips at all. This has great leg room (heated seats (both back and bottom) and this is a game changer for me with my arthritis. The cameras in this car are awesome. You can see clearly what is behind you when backing up. The lane assist will give you a little buzz in the seat on the side you have drifted too or if you are getting too close to an object or person when backing up. Nice cargo area. The back seat can also handle 3 adults with enough leg room. It's very comfy back there, I road in the back on the test drive since I sometimes sit in the back on trips so I can n change positions more. The 15 inch info center is impressive for sure. Still learning how to use it. If you want comfort in a nice looking SUV this is the one for you.

2024 Dodge Hornet review
After about a month of ownership, this is easily the most interesting car I’ve ever owned. It doesn’t feel like a typical Dodge at all, which is exactly why I bought it. The interior is genuinely nice, with soft-touch materials and real buttons where you actually want them. The driving experience is quick and responsive, and the plug-in hybrid system is perfect for short daily drives where I can stay in electric mode most of the time. What really stands out is how people react to it. Everyone assumes it’s something European, and when I tell them it’s a Dodge, there’s always a moment of confusion. It definitely feels more like an Alfa Romeo wearing a Dodge badge, in a good way. There are a few quirks. The app can be a little dramatic with old alerts, and you can tell it’s a newer platform still finding its footing. But nothing has impacted actual drivability. The car has been solid so far. The value is where this really shines. At the price I paid, it feels like I got way more car than expected. It’s fun, different, and doesn’t blend into the sea of generic crossovers. If you want something practical but still a little bit unique, this is worth a look. Also removed the dealership sticker immediately. I’m not providing free advertising.

Even though the dealership is over an hour from our home, there is no question that this will be the first place we visit for our next vehicle purchase. Our appointment was scheduled just an hour before closing on a Saturday, and from the moment we walked in, our salesperson, Jordan Kabranov, made us feel welcome. Jordan was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Although they didn't have the exact color we wanted in stock, Jordan and General Manager Mike P. McKenna immediately went to work locating the perfect vehicle through a dealer trade. Jordan and Mike treated us with fairness and respect throughout the negotiation process and helped us arrive at a price that everyone felt comfortable with. Afterward, we met with Deb (Dagbhort Campbell) to discuss financing and warranty options. Deb was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain all of the available coverage plans. She helped us understand not only the extended warranty we were interested in, but also several additional protections we hadn't previously considered. She put together a package that provided excellent value and fit comfortably within our budget. We expected to return on Monday to pick up the vehicle after it arrived. However, Monday morning we received a call that the dealership they were trading with had unexpectedly sold the vehicle that had been promised to us. Naturally, we were concerned, but Jordan immediately assured us they would make it right. And they did. The entire team spent the day locating another vehicle that matched exactly what we wanted. We didn't have to do a thing. In fact, the replacement vehicle came with additional features that made it more expensive than the original one. Even so, Jordan and Mike told us that because the situation was not our fault, they would honor the original agreed-upon price. That level of integrity and customer service is rare and greatly appreciated. They even tracked down an accessory we had discussed purchasing separately and had it waiting for us when we arrived. The updated paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently, making the entire process seamless. We brought our son along, as this vehicle was for him, and he had no idea we had already completed most of the purchase. The vehicle was washed, ready to go, and they even let him take a quick test drive before signing the final documents. It was a special moment for our family. We truly could not be happier with the team at Napleton Valley Hyundai. Every person we worked with listened to our needs, communicated honestly, and went above and beyond to overcome unexpected obstacles without creating any stress for us. This was a genuine team effort, and it showed every step of the way. Napleton Valley was not the first dealership we visited during our search, but they were by far the best. 2021 Ford Bronco Sport review
Generally the styling is nice, you really can see where the older Escape was used as the basis for this vehicle. The interior is nice and comfortable. Ford missed the mark on storage. The dead space behind the screen, as one example. You can buy a bin that will fit very nicely in that spot. Mileage has been good. Road noise can be a little much as times, and the ride can get a little jittery at speed. There is an odd shudder between 35 and 40mph, that the service tech said is from "cylinder deactivation". Ford and other manufacturers have had this technology for a long time. Seems hard to believe that Ford would screw it up. Was told that it happens in Eco or Normal mode. In Sport mode it's less noticeable, and doesn't really effect the mileage that much. Tried it, didn't see much of a difference. Other issue is legroom in the back seat. I'm 6'4" (and it's surprisingly easy for me to get in and out), but I need to have the seat back a bit. Leaves very little room for a back seat passenger. Overall, pretty good vehicle. Hopefully in the next gen, they'll correct some of these issues.

2022 Jeep Cherokee review
I love my Cherokee overall. This is my 3rd one. Sadly I've noticed the quality slipping. Jeep no longer provides a spare tire - WHAT? The floor mats are now of lesser quality and no longer have the Jeep emblem embroidered on them. The transmission is still a little iffy but not as bad as my '15. The tail lights fill with condensation but the dealership tells me it is normal to do so - WHAT? Additionally you're never gonna be able to find a V6 anymore. I had to go down a year to a '22 in order to get one. They are pushing EVs and Hybrids. All this being said I'm still Jeep girl and still love my Cherokee.

2026 GMC Terrain review
I’m 56 and I’ve mostly owned trucks in my life. Out of the few cars that I’ve owned this 26 terrain elevation edition is the best car that I’ve owned. It’s comfortable and expensive gets good gas mileage plenty of room inside well designedand GMC has been a reliable brand for me over the years. I do recommend this car.

2025 Volkswagen Tiguan review
I bought the SEL R-Line, which comes fully loaded with all the luxury features. My favorites are the massaging seats and customizable ambient lighting. All the materials have a quality feel to them. The car also drives very well - it's nimble for an SUV and has plenty of power. I almost bought an Audi Q5, but this new-generation Tiguan was a far better value.

2019 Jeep Cherokee review
Overall, pretty decent car. As professional reviews will note, the transmission is a little finicky, but nothing over the top. Learn to work with it, it works with you. Bought this car used last year with 68k and I drive a lot, so I've already put 30k on it. Handling wise, this works great, even in the snow (FWD, not 4x4). Good cargo room, and room for the kiddo's carseat. Now, this is a Jeep, and hasn't been without issue. The front struts have been replaced, probably as part of my driving style and the rough roads in my area. Part of the bumper got pulled off a while back, not a big deal. Mechanically, decently sound, the car has thrown a few check engine lights but for non-issues. It had an issue a while back where it would turn off or restart on its own when stopping (not to be confused with the auto-stop, which is annoying but can be turned off, this car would just flat out turn off), but that fixed itself. Developed an engine tick that does appear in Jeeps, but that has also righted itself. As such, no major maintenance has needed to be done besides my struts. So all in all, it works. If you're in a situation like mine, yeah, buy the 2019.

The GMC Terrain is a very dependable auto that I have had no issues. The model is the AT4, which has the headsup display. Interior is nice with leather and all the electronics options.

2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
After years of diesel Mercedes use, this plug-in hybrid rav4 is mind blowing in comparison. 93mpg after 13,700 miles. I only put premium fuel in this car because i never know when i'll use the ice engine. 500 highway miles range with a full tank.
