2021 Toyota Highlander review
My 2021 highlander L I paid $27k @ 44k miles ih for it after 2 years taking it through ell & adding 50k miles (92k miles currently) im impressed by its 300 hp 3.4L engine but learned how important changing all fluild begor it starts to making noise and problems. I think as long as you change all fluids at by or before 90 k miles as milage it will continue to goFor 300,000 miles crossed finger . The dealer offered me 19k to trade in at this stage. 2023 Kia Sportage Plug-In Hybrid review
I have close to 3,000 miles after 2 months on the X-Line Prestige trim. My previous vehicle was a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, so I wanted a vehicle that would allow me to get through some less-than-ideal roads to trailheads on the weekends, with a combination of ground clearance and AWD when needed, as well as use minimal gas (if any) on my daily commutes to the office. The vehicle handles similar to the Crosstrek, in that it is comfortable to ride in, but it does have a little more "sway" and "bounce" in the suspension when going around curves. The engine has similar pickup, even with the electric engine assist. In EV mode, it definitely does not have the aggressive acceleration that the Chevrolet Bolt has. It is fast enough to not be a merging danger on highways, but definitely feels soft. If you are in hybrid mode with the engine running, you can feel a more immediate response when pushing on the accelerator. The technology is well ahead of anything I have been involved with. The Crosstrek had eyesight safety technology, but the Sportage has much more, including very helpful blind-spot cameras. The adaptive cruise control is as good as the Crosstrek, although there is an annoying delay between when you lift your foot off the accelerator and when the vehicle takes over the acceleration. The speed drops several MPH and then picks back up, causing a rubber-band bounce feel. Unlike the Crosstrek though, the spacing between vehicles is consistent and excellent. There is so much technology that it can be initially overwhelming, so it is best to learn it as you drive over the course of a week or three. The odd choice that Kia made as to where to put the data port for your mobile is a bit annoying. There is one data port and the rest of charge-only ports, two of which are USB-C ports built into the side of the front seats, which are convenient for both front and back seat passengers. Since I use Android Auto always when driving, you have to get a very short cable to plug in to your mobile device, or it won't sit flat in the compartment. A better setup would have been built-in wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, which would allow you want lay your phone unimpeded on the charging pad that is built right under the data port. The EV-only mode has been consistently getting me around 34 miles, just enough to get me to my office parking garage where I can recharge it fully during the day. If I only use it for commuting I could basically never use the gasoline up in the tank. When you are in hybrid mode on a fast highway, don't expect to get much more than 34-36 MPG, because the vehicle is heavy riding on 19" tires. If you keep it at 60 or below, you will see the MPG shoot much higher up into the 50s. I keep it in Eco mode all the time. I did pay the extra $500 for the matte paint which makes the vehicle look great and unique, but you do have to take special precautions with it when washing the car, otherwise you it will show every nick and scrape.

2022 Kia EV6 review
This car is amazingly fun to drive: it has a ton of power and torque, and handles like a sports car. I have the Wind AWD w/ Tech Package. The cabin is a good mix of touchscreen and physical knobs/buttons. The Meridian sound system provides fantastic audio. There is a lot of space with the rear seats folded flat.

2018 Toyota Highlander review
The transmission failed at 112,000 miles and it costs me $8500 to repair. I expect Toyota Highlander transmission would last at least 200,000 miles but I found out that the transmission is not made in Japan like my old Highlander, but it was made in the USA. People who buy Toyota expect major components such as engine, transmission, are made in Japan with zero defects, but when major components are made in the USA, quality suffers.

2018 Honda Pilot review
This is the first Honda I have ever owned and will likely be the last as I expect it to out live me lol. We travel back and too from North Georgia to SW Florida and the car is so comfortable that I make the drive in one day. 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe review
I have a 2023 Tahoe after driving a Mercedes ML350. Husband wanted something bigger. While I really like my Tahoe, I do have a few complaints. The side mirror moves to a weird position inside the case every time I start the car and the preset button does not move it back, I have to reset it manually. I have had this "fixed" once only for it to start doing it again. I hate the auto stop option and am trying to train myself to push the button to turn it off whenever I get in it. The breaks squeal when stopping, I absolutely hate it! Was told since break pads used to be asbestos so they do not use them anymore and now it is metal on metal and living in a humid area makes them rust and that's what make them squeal. Was told to hard stop every so often to knock of the rust. What??? And my biggest complaint, it will not read my text messages to me without and internet plan. Why will it connect to my phone for calls, maps and music but won't read messages?? One of the biggest causes of wrecks, people trying to text while driving. Just one more way to get more money from us as if we didn't pay a fortune for the vehicle itself.

Negotiations were handled quickly and reasonably after we exchanged full information. Ray in Finance got me a full percent lower from my credit union even after the initial offer and acceptance was reached. That was real money! The whole team (including Malik for my insurance change) were very warm and easy going. It was probably the best buying experience in the dozen plus car purchases I?ve made over the years. 2024 Kia Telluride review
Have driven just over 20,000 miles so far. No issues. Drive between Clearwater and Gainesville regularly plus a couple other family trips and daily around town. Averages about 27 mpg at 75, quiet and pleasant ride. Trips were nice with good visibility front and back and plenty of room for stuff. Highly recommend.

My Tahoe: I love this vehicle, too big for my wife to park, but oh well. Just the other day we stopped at the grocery store, had an elderly gentleman say to us that is the most beautiful paint color he has ever seen. He loved the Tahoe. 2022 Honda Pilot review
We decided on the Trail Sport. We live in mountains of SW Montana on a dirt road, off a gravel forest service access rd. We also transport elderly women from our church, so needed a 3rd row for seating. It's been a reliable, comfortable ride. Easy for the ladies to get in & out of. My hubby & I are sure enjoying the comfort level of this pilot. One of the great features is being able to adjust the traction to mud & snow.

2024 Lexus RX 350 review
Just picked up 2024 RX350 Premium+. Overall a nice car. I’m not a big fan of the 4 cyl. Powertrain however. Rather noisy and fuel economy is about the same as the 6 cyl. In my old 2019 RX with premium fuel required. Not a great trade off. New technology is pretty good and touch screen is much. Etter than the old RX touch pad. I think this is a better value than BMW X5 or Genesis GV80 with much better resale value.

I visited Hampstead Pre-owned after seeing a vehicle that I liked online. I was taken to a salesman immediately where I was seated. We spoke for a bit then he quickly arranged for me to take the car for a test. I liked it but wanted to drive another model hoping it rode a little smoother. Unfortunately it was equipped with off-road capable tires and was even worse. I decided on the first one with a trade in. It was explained to me that they go through the entire car and repair or replace everything needed during inspection. There was a bit of a surprise when I learned that the cost of all that work was partly my responsibility. I then found out that those terms are posted on their website which eliminates the confusion. Unfortunately, I found it on another website that did not display that information. I’m still very happy with the vehicle, especially knowing all the work that was done. Also, I’ve found a couple of failures which they took care of - no questions. Unusual for a used car dealer.
2019 Toyota C-HR review
Just bought this 2019 from a dealership. At first I couldn't believe the mileage...170 miles...until the dealer explained it came out during the height of COVID and sat at dealership for 3yrs. This current dealership bought it at an auction with only 170 miles! Once they advertised, I jumped on it! I've always liked the style and the quality of Toyota cars. I had a sports car prior to thus and I can tell you there is a BIG difference in the cost of gas and mileage. It's sleek, roomy and I LOVED the colorit came in (Electric Blue). It was kind of pricey for a 2019 but it was definately in NEW condition!

2024 Mazda CX-50 review
Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. 2019 Subaru Ascent review
Have owned this 2019 Subaru ascent touring model for just over 2 years. Eye site feature is my fav. Car responds to changing traffic speeds automatically. great in heavy highway traffic. The Subaru service department at my dealership keeps it in tp top shape. I highly highly recommend this car. I'm sure the newer models are even better.

2022 Mazda CX-9 review
I get around 26mpg in highways. City it's around 20mpg. Easy to drive around and looks great. Premium interiors. Nice pick up and sports mode boost makes it even more fun to drive! No maintenance issues for my 2022 CX-9 yet.

2023 Ford Edge review
I bought this vehicle in December of 2023, and I have been pleased with the performance and the room inside the car. The boot (trunk) has lots of space. The silver paint with the black wheels looks really sharp. The best appeal for me to purchase this vehicle is that it's reported to rarely need to be in the shop for repairs. It's always been my experience that if you take care of your vehicle then it will perform well.

2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 43 review
I have a 2019 GLE 43 AMG version. At roughly 45,000 miles, the car started making an intermittent rubbing sound when shifting through 1-3 gears under a slight load. Took it to the dealership. They hear the noise but cannot locate it. Power train Engineering is involved but simply said they knew of no issues. The problem has not been resolved. Has anyone else had a similar issue??
