2022 Tesla Model Y review
The is the FUTURE of automobile transportation! Absolutely FABULOUS car! No more gasoline, no more scheduled maintenance. If you hit the accelerator hard, you'd better have your head against the headrest or you may be injured. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds for my 2022 Model Y Performance. Fast charging Tesla Superchargers are always available across the country making long, cross country road trips a pleasure. At home I can charge 300 miles of range over night for $8 of electricity. Yes $8! Super Chargers cost more, but the speed and convenience is well worth the costs on road trips and it's still a fraction of the price of gasoline. I honestly look forward to getting into this car and driving it. I've owned a Mustang, BMW M3 and 5 Series, a Porche, Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and many more cars. None were as fun to drive as the Tesla Model Y Performance. This is the future of automobile transportation and getting better every day.

2022 Tesla Model Y review
I have had the Y for a little bet over a year and have put 30,000 miles on it. Have had no trouble at all with any aspect of it's operation. Have towed a 3,000Ibs trailer from the east coast to Dever in the middle of winter (every day the temperature was 32 degrees or less) without and had no idea that it was behind me except that i had to stop every 100 miles to recharge instead of every 275-300 miles. I will never go back to a gasoline powdered car again.

The manager Nas Nazari wasn’t just trying to sell me a car—he actually took the time to educate me on how to make a smart purchase and avoid getting stuck with a bad deal anywhere. He made it clear that buying a car is a serious commitment, and once you buy, there are absolutely NO RETURNS. To help me make the best decision, he shared five key things every buyer should look out for: 1️⃣ Check the Vehicle History – They emphasized how important it is to review a full history report to avoid hidden surprises. A clean record means fewer risks! So get your own Carfax. 2️⃣ Have the Car Inspected – They strongly recommended bringing in a trusted mechanic to inspect the car before buying. A small upfront cost can save thousands in repairs later. 3️⃣ Understand the Warranty – They made sure I knew exactly what was covered and what wasn’t so I wouldn’t be caught off guard with unexpected repair costs. Their Cars are "AS IS" so when you drive off its all on you. The 30 day return document is a formality that will not be honored. 4️⃣ Review the Financing Terms – They Explained that none of their advertised EV cars get the discount it is just a way to get people through the door but they explained my financing options, including interest rates, monthly payments, and any potential hidden fees, so there were no surprises. You will be told you can refinance your car later by their finance guy but Nas let me know chances are slim since their cars have a salvage title. 5️⃣ Take a Thorough Test Drive – Instead of a quick spin, they encouraged me to test the car under different road conditions to make sure it felt right. Additional Important Steps They Advised: 🔴 No Returns Policy – Once you sign, the car is yours. They emphasized doing all research beforehand, getting an inspection, and making sure I was 100% confident before committing. 🔴 Salvage Title Considerations – Many of their vehicles have salvage titles, which means: Insurance rates will likely be higher, and some insurance companies won’t cover salvage vehicles at all—so check before buying. 2020 Tesla Model Y review
We had this car for 6 years. 91k miles including many road trips from Tahoe to Southern California. We loved it. It’s a workhorse that requires no maintenance and never breaks. There are three amazing qualities where it really shines over internal combustion competitors. 1) operating costs are so low. $7 to “fill up”, no oil changes, never need new brake pads (regen braking) and no maintenance. Just tires, alignments and windshield fluid. 2) autopilot makes freeway driving so much easier. You can relax like you’re a passenger. Yes it’s not perfect so you need to pay attention but it’s cruise control x2 3) safety. Look at crash test ratings. We’re a family of four and 100 people die in a crash every day. #1 cause of death until you’re old There are a few annoying things. Charging on road trips can be annoying. You have to stop every 150-200 miles for 15-20 minutes. It goes through tires faster. Tires will be your biggest cost. For a set that’s warrantied for 40k, you’ll get 30k

2023 Tesla Model Y review
Everything positive other owners have said in the reviews is true about performance, easy to drive, comfort, etc, but I was very much impressed by the fit and finish of the vehicle. We all hear about panel gaps and misalignments and bad build quality from the "experts", but my car was on par or even better than the Lexus GS I traded in. I liked it so much my father also bought one based on my recommendation and again the vehicle was flawless. Maybe back in the day this was an issue when this model was first introduced, but certainly not anymore. Both times I was at the service center picking up the two vehicles, I looked at dozens of other new customer cars on the lot and none had any issues that I could see.

This was a really great car buying experience. I live several hundred miles away from the dealership so most of the communication and pricing information was done online. To my relief, everything was exactly as promised online, the car was perfect, all personnel were amazing and the facility was clean and comfortable. My sales consultant, Larry, was especially helpful and friendly. I really appreciated his communication, picking me up at the airport, and making the process as quick and easy as possible!
2021 Tesla Model Y review
The Tesla driver interface is unique, but becomes second nature and pretty good in just a few drives. Interior is very comfortable, quiet, and spacious, but a bit sparse for the price point. Performance is great but the inability of virtually all EVs to meet their EPA range estimates without going downhill with a tailwind is disappointing. Charging at home is great. The Tesla charging network works very well as does the Tesla app on your smartphone. We have seen none of the build quality issues others have previously noted. Tesla customer support for us has been good and responsive as we’ve worked through questions and bought accessories. Overall, with weight and aero being determinants of EV range, the Model Y is a very well designed vehicle. Aero drove the exterior design and weight the interior. The resulting looks are either something you like, or not, but for their purpose, they work. Right sized and shaped outside, very spacious inside. Recent price cuts made the value decision one we could live with. Compared it with every other EV of its size and very happy with our choice.

2020 Tesla Model Y review
I've had this car for around a year now and its a great vehicle. The performance is stellar and it handles very well due to the low center of gravity. The main issue is that due to the larger wheels and lower suspension, the car rides very rough and worse than any other crossover/suv I have driven. I do not suggest it for longer trips as overtime the rough ride and bumps can become annoying. I also wish there were some tactile buttons for volume but the overall layout with the center screen works fine and gives the interior a clean look. I highly suggest getting the white interior as it makes a huge difference and is sort of a tesla hallmark. My other complaint would be the lack of apple carplay, Tesla's system is pretty easy to use but given that I am an Apple Music user it would be nice to have carplay integration. I also live in a colder climate so you would need a set of winter tires because the factory tires are summer performance rated. This seems like a harsh review but I mainly focused on the negatives since the pros of driving an EV really speak for themselves. Quality is hit or miss on these cars and I highly suggest checking for panel mis alignment and trim fitment, mine came perfect but I know other Ys do not.

2021 Tesla Model Y review
One of the best cars I owned. With recent price reduction on Teslas, this car is excellent value. First of acceleration does not get old. Puts a smile on my face every time. One pedal driving is fantastic once you get used to it. So many different features and you get more with every update. This is so cool to own car for 6 month or longer and still get new features. I’m assuming they had some quality issue with early models. Mine is 2022 and fit and finish is excellent. All works as advertised. I was a bit skeptical about getting a Tesla myself due to so many negative comments. But my personal experience is excellent. No rattles. Love using my phone as a key. So convenient. Audio system is one of the best in business. Give Tesla a try and you will not be disappointed. Range is plenty for daily city driving. Saving ton of money on gas. Convenience of charging at home. No more Costco gas station lines. Time will tell, but as far as I understand this electric engines are much simpler and this more reliable in a long term.
