I walked in the dealership and was immediately greeted by a salesman. I told him that I work with the father of one their managers and would like to see her. She was very busy at that moment. So I waited until she introduced me to the salesman she thought would best suit my needs. Ricky S. then went over a couple of trucks that he recommended. Went for couple test drives, probably 6-8 miles each. Both highway and residential which was good for me. I settled on the truck I was interested in and got down to business. Agreed on the right figures, filled out the credit app and gave him my title for the (undesirable) trade in I had. Even if they wouldn't take the trade in, I wasn't leaving without the new Tacoma. Ricky took me back to business offices and introduced me to Jordan who closed the deal like he does day after day. Smooth and hiccups. Afterwards Ricky took me to the truck and proceeded to sync my phone to the truck systems. We went over a few other items and we were done. Very patient with me and knew what he was doing. Purchased a new Avalon from them today. Wesley Radford was my sales rep and the entire process was an extremely pleasant experience. Wesley was patient with me and did not give any hard sell tactics. This is my third Corolla. I thrashed the first one (1990) for 20 years after I bought it at three years old, and gave it to a family member at 200k. The second ('98) was given to me by a friend who had bought it for someone else who didn't pay for it. It was totaled at 178k miles, in nearly perfect condition. This one came from an estate of a fellow parishioner. He bought it in 2010. When he passed in 2022, it had 141k miles. After it sat for a year, I bought it. Although I've only put a few hundred miles on it, it impresses me with its solidity, pep, and crisp handling. Based on past experience, I expect to get at least another hundred thousand out of it. Based on my driving habits (>10k/year) and my age, it may be the last daily-driver I ever own. Interior is a bit cramped compared to the Sonata it replaces, but high quality and comfortable. The initial surge of acceleration is a little startling, but easily controllable with a light foot. Styling is nothing to write home about, but is acceptable. Paint is chipping on the hood and fading on the roof, but overall presents well from twenty feet. I would prefer the optional alloy wheels, but I may find a set over the years I expect to have with this car. The stock stereo was malfunctioning when I got it, but I upgraded to an aftermarket 2-DIN unit with rear-view camera. The stock six-speaker setup blends nicely with the new head unit. Neither the bodywork, or the undercarriage exhibit any signs of corrosion.

Dealt with this CarMax dealer over the phone and email. Tried to negotiate a price based on other dealers in the area for the same vehicle and was told that the price listed was the price you pay!

I have only had this car for 1 month but so far it runs well. My only issue, so far, is the front bumper and black grill. The bumper came loose ( I bought used) and now, the black grill has come loose... the hood seems to be tighter on one side than the other but works fine... just is not even...carfax said no wreck though. The exterior of cars these days seem cheap and flimsy. I never had that problem with my Honda CRV. I cannot tell you how many cars I see on the road with loose bumpers.

It seems there are corolla’s with transmission issue mine was replaced at 36k miles this is my ninth Toyota the first with big issue like that although my car was just out of warranty Toyota replaced the transmission i had to pay for labor

I've owned several Corolla's before, and the 2023 XSE is the best one yet. The fit and finish of the exterior, and the design and materials of the interior are all high quality for a car in this price range. The overall drivability is excellent, and feels like a car that's much more expensive. I'm still not really a fan of the CVT transmission. When you go to accelerate quickly, the car seems to be sliding in between gears and never actually chooses one. But after reading the owners manual and learning to shift the gears manually, it allows the cars performance to really shine through. It has 10 gears in the Manual Mode, and it's actually pretty fun to shift with either the up & down shift paddles on the side of the steering wheel, or pushing the gear-select lever one at a time. Anyway - it was the only driving issue I had, and Toyota already had a solution. Overall, this new Corolla is the best value car I've ever owned.

My 2014 Corolla has 300,000km on it. Still has the original belt, rear brakes and exhaust. I average about 47mpg on a road that allows me to drive 80km/h with the engine at 1200rpm. I drive a combination city/highway miles. I tow a trailer quite often. I plan on keeping this car for another 9 years / 300,000 kms

We ended up purchasing a different car from a dealership where we had a horrible buying experience, which has definitely convinced me that the CarMax sales model is absolutely the way to go. I will definitely be coming to CarMax first for my next purchase. This is just the better way to buy a car.

This car is great! It’s small but mighty. It zips and I have not had any issues with it. It’s super reliable and ridiculously good on gas. This particular year, in my opinion, is great because even though it’s older it still looks newer/modern. Toyota did a great job with this one.

Have had this car for 5 years and never had an issue only goes in for inspections. Goes great in the snow. Would definitely buy one again

I wouldn't take my time to write this review, but after I saw the negative reviews I decided to share my opinion. I had a great experience at Herz and I always send anyone asking there. Today a friend of mine showed me the bad reviews on this website and asked me if I am sure that this is the place. I showed him great reviews that Hertz has on other websites and decided to write this one.We purchased 2017 Altima and they even called us when they received the second key. THere was no presure for getting warranty, etc and we got a great rate. You should go and check for yourself.

It is a Corolla so don't expect a Lexus. Many nice features like keyless operation, auto headlights and parking brake. Human Factors design is terrible. The center display has a lot of good information, but in font so small it is distracting to try and read it while driving. When you engage cruise control, a warning in small print legalese appears for several seconds, blanking out your speed and telling you not to take your eyes off the road. Of course if you want to read the warning, you cannot see the road. Other feature that is annoying is the assumption that if anything like a coat or a book are on the back seat, you must have left a small child in the car so it beeps repeatedly when you lock the car and then sends you a text that there is something in the back seat. Oil is 0W-8 so don't expect to do your own oil change as it is not generally available in stores. The ride is comfortable for an economy car and it is reasonably quiet. If you love AndroidAuto, you will like the interface, if you don't like it, well, Toyota does not give you any other option that is easy to use. There are 2 cupholders, a small glovebox, and a very small center console compartment. No other storage. No place for a small box of Kleenex, no place to store sunglasses.

I have owned my 2008 Corolla since it was a year old. It currently has 184,000 miles on it. Other than regular maintenance I have not spent one cent on repairs. The gas mileage is so great I never worry about the price of gas. It is so dependable and reliable it is almost like a good friend.
