I like this vehicle, but I'm just not sure about the Hybrid version. I don't really see that it saves me any money on gas and at only 12,000 miles, the Hybrid battery failed. It took over a week to find a new battery in South Florida where I purchased the car. That battery is $500 not installed. Luckily it was under warranty. I've already replaced the tires at 23,000 because after we moved to Colorado we needed better tires that the OEM ones that came with the car. Every now and again I get a warning when I try and start the car that says, The Hybrid System has stopped working. Please turn the car off and try restarting it. When that happens and it won't restart, good luck!!! Time to call AAA. I also wish this car had or could upgrade to Apply Play. First recall is getting fixed tomorrow for a low pressure fuel pump located in the gas tank. It was a long time before they could find the part to repair the car.

They have been my dealership for servicing since I bought my truck from them. The service department team have a really good service manager Jason and the service team guys and women are detail with their customers and explain all before servicing and afterwards extensively so you leave satisfied. The operators who work the phone calls in to the dealorship are exceptional as well and they don’t get enough praise for their detailed work as well taking all the calls to direct where to go to keep the dealership in order. The billing department and car sales team are good as well or I wouldn’t have purchased a truck off their lot. Worth a look for your next ride at the dealorship …

This SUV meets all my needs, the MPG and spacious exterior is great. The hybrid aspect of the vehicle is hardly noticeable as it switches to battery mode.

Our test drive convinced us the car has the performance and comfort we wanted, but there's only so much you can learn from a short test drive. We discovered all of the wonderful features Toyota built into the Hybrid only after we poured through the user's manual and put the car through its paces in everyday use. The powertrain roars into life when you need to get up to speed fast, but quickly settles into a barely-audible purr once it returns to Eco mode at speed. The layout and design of the instrument panel give you information at a glance on any aspect of the car you want to check Visibility of the world outside the ca is excellent from the cockpit We have a lot of gravel backroads in our area, and the car travels nimbly over bumps and dips. Naturally, the AWD handling is sure-footed in heavy rain; can't wait for SNOW! First impressions: a might fine automobile; why did we wait so long to by a Highlander?
