Elgin Volkswagen review
Erv, I hope you get this, because you are an absolute ROCK STAR!!! For those of us who are not in the industry, the car dealership is not the place that many want to be. But then there are places like Elgin Volkswagen. I have never been to a place that I trust more with my Tiguan than this dealership. Unfortunately, I had one that had issues ranging from the steering wheel to the PCV Valve to the Cylinder head all before the 50,000 mile warranty expired. EVERY SINGLE TIME Erv treated me with incredibly customer service and kindness, getting me back on the road in record time. For the PCV valve, I had the check engine light come on driving home from work on I90, and I was able to make an appointment to bring it in. Now, to be completely honest, I was scared. "What if it isn't broken when I bring it in?" "What if I waste my time?" I left the engine running when I pulled it into the service drive just so I didn't risk the light turning off, but I didn't have to! Erv took the car back and came out shortly later and told me that they replaced the PCV valve. Crisis averted! Phew! Then I had an issue with the steering wheel capacitive touch sensor. Again, I brought it into Erv. He drove the car back, and came out shortly after to tell me, "Good news, we had a steering wheel in stock, so we put it on". At this point, I was more than floored!! Thirdly, and most importantly, my Cylinder Head had to get replaced shortly before the warranty expired. The part was on Back-Order, and Erv really out-did himself with this one!! He took my Tiguan, put me in a loaner for three days, and then texted me when mine was ready. Not to mention the fact that he texted me ON A SUNDAY EVENING that my cylinder head was in and ready to be installed. You better believe I dropped my car off the next day!! The bottom line is, ERV YOU DESERVE A RAISE MY GUY!!! THANK YOU FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO!!!!

2016 Volkswagen Jetta review
This is my 2nd Mk6 Jetta. The first one I leased had zero issues with it. It was a 2017 1.4t S trim. My current Jetta a 2016 Sport 1.8t trim is a great vehicle! I bought it in 2019 as a CPO with 38k miles and now it has 127,500 miles and counting! Has give me zero problems. All I’ve done was kept up with its regular maintenance. I’ve used it to get around town and for long trips. Great on gas, roomy, nice backup camera and Apple CarPlay still works with the factory head unit! It also has VW’s built in Navigation system and Sirius XM which has come in handy a few times. The trunk is spacious with rear seats that fold down. The center rear seat comes with an arm rest and a pass through to the trunk. I also love the heated two tones white and black leatherette seats that come with the Sport trim. Driving wise, it handles great with good acceleration for a compact sedan. Easy to park as well!

Found the perfect vehicle for our family, and the entire experience couldn’t have been better! From start to finish, everything was easy, professional, and stress-free. Max was fantastic to work with—friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer our questions, made sure we were comfortable with our decision, and never made us feel pressured. Buying a vehicle can sometimes be a hassle, but Max made the whole experience enjoyable. We drove away happy and confident that we made the right choice. Excellent experience all around. Thanks so much, Max!

Dealership experience was fine. I have a few suggestions to make it better. 1. Have the car I was scheduled to view washed before I arrive. Second suggestion is to have more gas in the car as I was only able to drive a few miles before I had to stop to get gas. Other than that the experience was fine, people nice, car pretty much as described.
2021 Volkswagen Jetta review
I have owned my 2021 VW Jetta for close to two years. I have very little negative things to say about the car. The car does have auto start-stop when stopped for red lights and other lengthy stops. This car handles well. It gets on highways quickly. I have recorded gas on long trips 42 mpg. I get 32mpg around town. The Jetta looks nice. I have the gray color with black interior. It’s not like the BMW335 I owned but it is a good car for me. Currently over 36k miles with no issues. I take it in ever 10,000 miles for a check up and oil changes.

2021 Volkswagen Jetta review
I bought a 21 SEL Premium with 5k miles on it. Has fully digital dashboard display which is awesome because it's fully customizable, and you can even use the entire screen to display a map which shows local businesses as you drive near them. This vehicle also has Beats by Dre which I find terribly disappointing. My 2012 Toyota Camry had a JBL sound system which was 3 times better than this system. It also (at times) creates a bass thump when I make a call while listening to the radio which is irritating. The other issue that has me bummed was the cruise control system would fail half the time. I just got it fixed yesterday but time will tell as I've only engaged it once since dealership fixed it. The cabin feels very comfortable and is quiet on the road. The lane departure assist and assisted cruise control are impressive features that most will appreciate. Steering wheel controls are also nice features.

Yesterday I purchased a car by phone for the first time. As a senior citizen I sold my car on the 9th of March thinking I would get totally travel by taxi or Uber or Lyft but I under estimated the value of getting up and going when you like. The team at CarMax from beginning to directions to the highway were the very best. Each and every member made me feel valued as a customer. And feel like they were treating me like they would their family members. You could not ask for more than that. Bj

AG Autohaus review
I recently purchased a 2016 Audi A3 from AG Autohaus and had a great experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the buying process smooth and stress-free. The car was exactly as described, clean, and in excellent condition. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend AG Autohaus to anyone looking for a quality vehicle.
2019 Volkswagen Jetta review
I purchased my 2019 Jetta R-Line brand new with 27 miles on the odometer in June of 2020. As of this review I have owned the vehicle nearly 5 years. My car now has 57,000 miles on it. I have never experienced any mechanical failures. The vehicle still has the factory battery, brake pads, and rotors. I have only replaced the tires and cabin air filter. Aside from that, routine maintenance including oil changes every 7,500 miles (despite VW calling for 10k interval), and flushing the coolant and brake fluids around 50k miles. My car is comfortable albeit a little small for a man of my stature. It's excellent on gas and handles like a dream. I have gotten compliments on it's looks since day one. The cold weather package is excellent and essential up here in the northeast. I paid 20k for the car brand new and its proven to be an excellent value. My only complaints, the stock sound system is not horrible but it's not great. Also, the driver seat is beginning to have cracks in the leather. I'm very satisfied with this vehicle. I hope this one lasts a while but I will check out VW first for my next vehicle purchase.

The Autobarn Volkswagen of Countryside review
I love going to the Autobarn Volkswagen of Countryside! I have purchased 2 cars from Adrian, but the entire team is so fantastic to work with. The service department is very kind and thoughtful, as well as prompt. They will also give you a ride anywhere that you need to go if you are waiting for an extended period of time. If you are looking to purchase a car or just want a great place to get your car serviced, I would highly recommend Autobarn Volkswagen of Countryside!
2023 Volkswagen Jetta review
The 2023 Jetta S and Jetta Sport are just about the best value you can find in a new car these days. Sure, you can buy a Hyundai or a Kia for a little less, but the Jetta is so much more car. I know from experience. I test drove the 2023 Kia Forte, Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla. And the Jetta stood out with a level of quality that those other cars just didn't seem to have. If you need the latest technology, and a huge touchscreen, buy one of those other cars. The Jetta has a smaller screen. But I like that the Jetta still have knobs and buttons for the A/C and basic radio controls. The Jetta is also offered without driver assist features if you want to save some money. I bought my 2023 Jetta Sport without lane keep assist and all those extra features I don't like, because I pay attention when I drive. This knocked off a nice bit of money. After driving all those new cars, the Jetta had room where I needed it, comfort, and a level of quality I just didn't feel in the other cars, so I bought it. And I am very happy with my purchase.

5/5 Stars – Incredible, Stress-Free Experience with Gilbert! I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience working with Gilbert. From the moment I walked in, he was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive. He made the entire vehicle buying process completely seamless and stress-free. Gilbert went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, walk me through every step of the deal, and make sure I felt entirely comfortable and confident with my decisions. His genuine kindness, patience, and professional help made what can often be a daunting process feel smooth and easy. If you are looking for a top-tier, 5-star customer experience, ask for Gilbert! I couldn't be happier with the service he provided. Highly recommend!

So my Habenero orange R Line is named Princess... she is quick when she needs to be, and eco mode is there for when she doesn't. Gas mileage is fantastic either way. She is so responsive, the handling on her is top notch. I've put a LOT of miles on her, I think upwards of 50k without a single mechanical failure. A few accidents, the front collision sensor is a pain to replace but I like in a bumper car city, unfortunately.

My experience was awesome, Edgar and Justin from service made sure we got the best service possible. I rate both of them 100%. I have been working with Justin since 2018 and I have never been disappointed. Edgar took care of us from start to finish. He was very pleasant and he explained everything we had questions about. I truly appreciate both of them.

I got the Jetta sport and LOVE it! It handles well and isn’t a gas guzzler. It’s a brand new car and it’s beautiful (I had a 14 yr old VW minivan until now)

CarMax Kenosha review
We test drove a vehicle here and had a really great experience. The salesman, Tim, was phenomenal - very friendly and informative; I would highly recommend anyone ask for him if they visit! We were able to fully inspect the car, including getting it up onto a lift. The entire process was easy, low-pressure, and customer-focused. We ended up purchasing a different car from a dealership where we had a horrible buying experience, which has definitely convinced me that the CarMax sales model is absolutely the way to go. I will definitely be coming to CarMax first for my next purchase. This is just the better way to buy a car.

Best dealership around! Tom does what he can to make sure the customers are always happy. Erv was fantastic in service. They are kind and the most important part, women-friendly.

Autumn 2017 purchase - and with manufacturer + dealer discounting - this brand new car was only $14,000 or so. Great on fuel (41 MPG City 60/Hwy40) Easy to use 5M, light clutch, good disc brakes. At 50,000 miles I've had ZERO issues

2020 Volkswagen Jetta review
I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

2021 Volkswagen Jetta review
I have owned 2 VW Jetta's both FANTASTIC dependable automobiles. The 2021 Jetta is such a pleasure to drive with its roomy interior and superb handling. It's fabulous gas milage of 40 highway/ 30 mpg city driving, the 1.4 L Turbo charged engine makes it a peppy car. The lane change assist on the side mirrors is quite a plus. It's a beautiful automobile inside and out. The full color touch screen has Blue tooth, Android Auto, Apple Car Play even a USB port. Has a great back-up camera, anti-lock brakes, multi-control steering wheel, keyless entry just to name a few of the cars features. What more could you want in a car? I have NEVER had a issue with either of my Jetta's. You will look forward to driving this automobile. Factory warranty because its such a well built automobile. It was very affordable for such a great car with features normally found on much more expensive automobiles.

2017 Volkswagen Jetta review
New car 9/2017: odometer now at 65000 miles. No issues at all since new. Fuelly.com calculates 40.5 MPG in 30/70 highway/city driving. 5 speed manual transmission has excellent synchros - and with a very light clutch engagement plus short throw gear changes - this 2017 1.4 turbo is fun to drive.
