I had a great experience with purchasing my son’s first car. Tyler and Aiden were both helpful in allowing me to inspect and drive the car. Aiden corresponded with me and was cordial and honest throughout the purchasing process. The car was exactly as described and in great condition.

This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

Bea is courteous, personable, and answered all our questions (or checked with other DarCars staff for us). She responded quickly to emails and made our experience pleasant. This is my first all-electric car. Bea and her colleague, Manny, showed me all the car's features and spent time helping me understand the electronics. I was lucky to find this Volvo Certified 2021 XC40 Recharge that had just been returned by single user's 3 yr lease. It had 23,698 miles, all the extra accessories including heat pump, and amazingly enough the Volvo installed tow hitch package. Drove it, and slept on the purchase over night and then in morning decided to 'click' the buy button. I could not be happier. I've been a Volvo fan for over 50 yrs but recently had converted over to Toyota, sold the Toyota 4 months ago and had been car-less since. I don't drive that much these days so the 208 claimed max driving range was really of no concern to me. What I liked.... 1) Outside styling very pleasing to my eyes which to me was typical Volvo. 2) The minimalist look of the car's interior. 3) Seat comfort and adequate space in second row seating. 4) Easy entry/exit. 5) Keyless operation for entry and exit-locking. 6) The option for one and two pedal operation. 7) Easy to see/read the center display screen, with voice activation, as well as allowing the Apple CarPlay. 8) Quality interior door coverings. 9) Amazing powered huge overhead glass moon roof with motor operated closing shade. 10) 110v and 240v charging options - and maybe access to Tesla's charging infrastructure in next few months via special charging adapter. 11) Adequate USB-C ports + 2x 12v outlets. 12) Adequate cargo area with several well placed side hooks etc. 13) Auto opening for the rear hatch via the 'waving foot' action. 14) Telescopic and up/down steering wheel. 15) The extending driver seat's forward lip for extra leg support. 16) The almost quietness when driving. 17) Headlight beam bending when making turns and going around curves. 18) The Volvo Certified warranty extension offering. 19) The 20,000 mile/2 years maintenance cycle. 20) Drive comfort and stability at all speeds was very acceptable. 21) The XC40 Recharge's performance is simply outstanding. 22) My family/friends were all amazed and liked the XC40 Recharge. 23) Obviously pleased with all the safety aspects of the XC40 Recharge's features. 24) No screaming alerts and severe flashing lights when locking the car. 25) The 17-foot long charging cable was acceptable. 26) The 2000 pound towing capacity suited my requirements. 27) The price for the 3 yr old XC40 Recharge being some 55% off its 2021 MSRP. 28) No buyers remorse at all.

The service advisor on the day I went in was Luis. He was attentive and responsive to my questions about my car as well as my car?s needs that I didn?t know it needed. He was kind and respectful. I have yet to experience service from all the other advisors, but they were all friendly when I walked into the service area and saw some sitting at their desks.

Love this suv however when driving just a half hour the dash screen went black with a message “infotainment system cooling” restarted the car but no change. This had to be a recall but can’t find any info. Poor quality in an expensive car. Service department at dealer won’t answer their phone. Hoping they will call back

After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

Great awesome cars in every aspect, comfort, performance, handling, smoothness, features, reliability (not in some models though) and especially safety. You get the best bang for your buck in Volvos. Only thing I would say is to stay away from the XC90 T6 (petrol engines) from 2015 - 2016. (Not sure if 2017 has these problems, as I havnt experienced anything from the 2017 models) I sell many of these Volvos But the petrol XC90s T6 from 2015 - 2016 are very unreliable because of being the first year of these models when they first came out. Had many experiences with failing superchargers ($4k to fix ) evaporator failing ($5k to fix) and also these engines have a known fault that the pistons don’t inbed in properly in some of the engines and it burns massive amount of oil. (Did a test in a customers car, was burning about 2L of oil every 1000km) Also comes with a few hiccups here and there with coolant leaks, and oil leaks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the XC90 D5 (diesel engines) as they seems much better because they don’t have the engines failing or a supercharger in these models. This have the failing evaporator but this item was the least part failing out of everything I mentioned. I hope this information has helped out some people who are deciding to purchase a Volvo 😊

Very happy with the XC90. Finding more reasons to like it every time I drive it. Car feels solid and safe. Stepping on the gas gives it a fast start off the line. Purchases it pre-owned,brakes chattered a little. So soon after had both brakes done, now it stopes beautifully, no noise, no vereing, no problems. My last vehicle was a Honda CRV. The hood is bigger and took some getting used to. I was not crazy about spending 81 dollars to fill up and top off the tank. But I am still on the first tank(little less than 1/2 a tank left) I never thought I would ever be able to afford or drive a Volvo in my life time,but I am! Living the dream!

The C30 is what the Mini wants to be. Waited and watched for a couple years to buy the Polestar version of the C30. In mid 2016 found the 01 of the 250 built for the US with around 50k miles for sale. Bought it for 19k. This model C30 has the works. Leather, premium sound, sunroof, heated electric 5-way seats, etc. I bumped the power to a stage 3 with the Euro T5 version Borg Warrner K16 turbo, larger intercooler, 650 injectors, 3 bar MAF, custom air intake, custom tune, etc. Car now puts out 340 horses and slightly less torque. It's fast and nimble. Best thing about this car is even with all the mods it is stunningly reliable. The C30 is my everyday driver and I even take it on 12 hr. road trips. Assuming I keep my foot mostly out of turbo the car gets around 26 in town 30 highway. I am good with that considering. Car is going on 11 years old and 100k miles. Paint and interior are still great, and maintenance is what you would expect from a car half its age. At this point, 2024 the C30 will have been out of production for 11 years. Can't say I would advise anyone to buy this car as some interior and exterior parts are already becoming difficult or impossible to buy new. Unless you are an enthusiast like me that want's a C30 regardless Volvo has newer models less fun but as reliable.

Very helpful & responsive to my requests for further information! Accommodated my car inspector and transport company seamlessly. Accomodated my request to pay by wire transfer rather than overnighting a cashiers check. Their accounting & documentation department could be a little more timely. I bought sight unseen which requires some degree of faith and trust, but car arrived as described and relatively clean. Considering we were both in the midst of a winter storm, the transaction went fairly smoothly. Kudos to Hypatia and Oz!

I loved my XC90 but traded it due to the cost of fuel. I drive 40 miles a day roundtrip to work. I would easily go through a tank of gas in four days. Best mileage I ever got was about 22 highway. The XC90 is a heavy SUV and shaped like a block. Not a lot of aerodynamics. As for comfort and luxury you can't go wrong the XC 90 is pure luxury and has great pickup and handling. Just be aware the mileage is not good.

Straightforward guys. What you see is what you get. You have all the time in the world to check and decide. There is a zillion cars good and bad. They sell used cars at affordable prices. Issued my tags while treating me to a coffee. An extra guarantee is provided for a fee. Bought a car, and a friend that I recommended got one too.

The car itself is excellent, however I have a hard time getting in and out mainly getting my right knee past the steering column. Another issue I have is that I also drive a few other vehicles regularly and they all have the Tach on the left on the speedometer to the right where as this Volvo has the Speedometer to the left with the Tach to the right. Doesn't sound like a big deal but as I'm driving and glance down I find myself glancing at the tach first. The 3rd item is I have big wide feet and the gas pedal and brake pedal are closer than most and I find myself stepping on the brake and gas with my right foot at the same time.

Love our gently used 2015 Volvo XC60 T6 Turbo wagon. 130k miles on it and we have only had to replace the alternator and battery. Does not burn oil, does not leak oil. Has been a very reliable car. If you do the maintenance and change the oil every 5 thousand miles it will last a long time. Regular oil changes are very important as with any car. Most people don’t do this. The 6 cylinder is one the best engines they have made. Timing chain will last a long time as long as you put new clean oil in the engine every 5k miles. No transmission problems and no differential problems for us. No one likes to spend $2,000 for the 90k service but it’s a big one. Important preventative maintenance will take this car to 200,000 miles. Read the owners manual and follow the service schedule.

Attractive styling both exterior and interior (for me). Bought a 2021 T-5 R design with Polestar enhanced performance package. It has been trouble free so far and handles and performs very well for a compact SUV. routine service dept. with Volvo has been excellent. Seats are comfortable and the interior space is surprisingly roomy. It took a little bit to get use to the tech, but I was coming from a Tundra, so it was to be expected. The only thing that is subpar is the Navigation system, but I understand that they have now contracted with google maps to provide this service. AWD makes me not worry about the weather. Terrific all around car!
