2020 Kia Sedona review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2020 Kia Sedona?

The front-wheel-drive 2020 Kia Sedona minivan seats seven or eight, depending on the trim level. It’s powered by a 276-horsepower, 3.3-liter V-6 engine that works with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Competitors include the Chrysler Pacifica, Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey.

What’s New on the 2020 Kia Sedona?

There are no changes this year.

What Features in the 2020 Kia Sedona Are Most Important?

The Sedona’s family friendly interior and easy-to-reach Latch anchors help make it a good choice for families with young children. The standard touchscreen multimedia system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, and a rear-seat entertainment system is available. The Sedona offers important active safety features like automatic emergency braking and lane departure and blind spot warnings, but they’re only available on higher trim levels.

Should I Buy the 2020 Kia Sedona?

If you’re looking for a roomy, comfortable family minivan with an easy-to-use multimedia system, the Sedona is worth a look. The second-row captain’s chairs and the third-row seat aren’t the easiest to fold, but the Sedona’s value-oriented pricing will appeal to budget-minded shoppers.

Best mini van.

This is the 3rd time We've owned a Kia Sedona. I love that the back seats fold into the floor. It's so roomy. It's perfect for me hauling kids or a ton of comic books when I buy a collection. This one I bought only had 9k miles on it.

Was shopping for an SUV

Planned on purchasing an SUV, but after test driving four (which we liked) my husband saw this and wanted to test drive it. We knew as soon as we got in, it was the car for us. It’s sporty and has a beautiful leather package.
