2024 Acura MDX review
1. Infotainment system very difficult and confusing to learn. And dangerous to use. I hate it. Not at all intuitive. Doesn't include a CD player. Heads-up is distracting as is using any part of the audio system, phone, etc. Reading of the manual is required - which is in very small print. 2. Generally - drives very well and is smooth - except on the freeway where I find it is anything but smooth. Hard to explain, but in parts of freeway I feel as if the car is lightly pulling side to side. I'm writing this off to having spent last 9 years driving a large SUV that drove like a dream. I wanted to downsize, hence my choice. But I'm not thrilled with the drive. 3. Very comfortable seats in first and second rows. I doubt I'll ever use the 3rd row as it is very small, but when not is use, I have a very large cargo area which I love. Seat cooling not at all useful. Should be much better given the technology for this has been around for many years. 4. Generally, I'm happy when just driving around town. The pick-up from stop to go is a little sluggish, but very smooth and drives well once you get moving. But if Lexus RX ever adds a V-6, I'll trade out. The small luxury items in a Lexus, like the steering wheel, wood interior - much nicer. But the seats are great and once you get used to using the infotainment system, it's manageable. But Edmunds wasn't kidding - huge learning curve and not something you want to be fiddling with when driving.

Overall, very professional, progressed as a sale should, and they followed through on the details. Car arrived very clean, everything was included as expected. Transport service ran into some issues but they kept me in the loop and went out of their way to get the vehicle to us as quickly as they could (arrived at midnight and the driver still had 1 more stop to make, he was a nice as could be, and had no complaints - that is dedication). We are 180 miles away and Lexus of Naperville will be our new "go to" for Lexus vehicles. Closer dealers are not as transparent, and seem to be in the habit of wasting your time. It is hard to find a dealer that simply wants to sell a vehicle without playing any games. Lexus of Naperville is where you should go - ask for "Brendon" and "AP", they did a nice job. I didn't get a chance to work with her much, but Yvette was also very nice. Zach Paino from "Ship your car safely" was my contact for the transport.

2014 Acura MDX review
As I said in my review, I purchased this car from this dealership in 2017. At the time it had about 35,000 miles on it. It has been a great car. It gets 25-27mpg on the highway although it only gets 18-20 around town. The seats are comfortable and there's plenty of cargo room if you keep the third row seats down. The only thing it doesn't have that I would like is a heated steering wheel. My previous car, a 2012 GMC Denali XL, had a heated wheel, and in the winter it was really great to grab a warm steering wheel. This is a great family car and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

2019 Acura MDX review
My current car is a 2019 MDX. I absolutely love it. My previous car was a 2012 MDX. The only reason I don’t have that car is my daughter “totaled it” 2 days after getting her license. BUT my daughter walked away, unhurt, no broken bones, no concussion, not even a bruise. I thought the car would look like a mangled mess, just looked like it went off roading. I had no idea these were TANKS on the road. I will continue to drive these now that I know. The 2019 is very similar to the 2012, but love the apple car play, lane assist, and better gas mileage.

2025 Acura MDX review
After enjoying a 2006 Honda Pilot for over 200K miles it came time to try something different although the Pilot was still performing flawlessly. Competition was fierce with Lexus, KIA, Volvo, and others offering compelling alternatives. But in the end customer loyalty won out. The ACURA MDX has proven to be an outstanding choice offering comfort, reliability, and an absolute pleasure to drive. Also of importance the technology interface feels intuitive with a very shallow learning curve. Highly recommend.

2022 Acura MDX review
Very nice vehicle with good size and features. I knew what I was getting into with the infotainment system and it is fine despite a few bugs. The brakes are an issue though. The overall feel of the brake pedal was unique when I purchased it. Now two years after purchase, the dealership is saying that my brakes are squeaking because they are glazed from heavy use. I'm not a fast drive and have no need for hard braking so there is a flaw in the design

2023 Acura MDX review
We love our 2023 Acura MDX -- handling, ride (in all modes), acceleration (definitely enough when you need it to enter the highway, etc.), interior, dependability, technology and size. This car is the perfect size for us with 3 dogs. We make lots of trips to the park and of course, to stores regularly too. We do lots of DIY projects too so we need to haul materials. The MDX offers plenty of space to do it. The gas mileage is great (25 mpg+ in the city for us) -> much better than the under 10 mpg we had been getting with our 2018 truck. Very pleased with the versatility of the MDX.

2018 Acura MDX review
I purchased a used 2018 Acura MDX Feburary 2025.I have owned it for just over a month. Driving and handling are very solid. The interior is great--especially the seats. You will read several folks discussing the entertainment system and other controls. Really nice features, just learn how to use them correctly. The only issue I did not like was the "lane assistance" feature--so I turned it off. If you are in the market for a luxury SUV go test drive one yourself. Price, quality, and reliability are hard to beat.

This dealer had the used car I was looking for. The car had the right mileage and a clean fax. The dealership was 1 hour 20 minutes away from me heavy traffic all the way. I figured I would call and ask about the car anyway but I wasn’t planning to drive there. I talked to Phil, a sales rep, and what a gentleman he was. He told me the car was a trade-in and was in fantastic condition. Well, he talked me into driving down there. I arrived about 10 in the morning and left with my new used car by 1:30 that afternoon. I walked Phil through my 128 point inspection, 2 test drives and I ending up looking under the car for any problems. I could not find anything wrong. The car was in great condition just as Phil had described. Phil was a perfect gentleman through the whole process. Every dealership employee I encountered could not do enough for me. 2022 Acura MDX review
I really like my 2022 Acura MDX, it’s a luxury SUV. It’s pretty and it’s just for me. The problem, I have only had it for 22 months and the starter went. It cost us $950.00 to replace the starter, that didn’t include the labor. Thank God my husband has quite a bit of knowledge on installing starters. Problem number 2, reverse light needs to be replaced, that’s the hold panel and the cost is a whopping $500.00 and something dollars. The 60,000! mile maintenance has to be done in the next few months. The dealer charges $1,325,00, Honda charges $835.00 but it has to be done. But again, I love my car and I plan on having it for years to come.

It appears that KUNES Sycamore has recently hired a very competent Jerome Witt who, albeit after 6 months resolved my issue within a couple of days. If you have an issue with KUNES, I highly recommend contacting Jerome. Below my original Issue: If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from November 5, 2022 By pljo on DealerRater If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from this non-responsive dealership, I consider my efforts a success. I purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL550 (48,00miles) from this stealership and added a "Bumper to Bumper aftermarket warranty" which I paid for separately from the car through Kunes. After 3 weeks (1,500mls) the car developed an issue with a suspension damper. Kunes quoted a $1,500+ repair charge and of course it was not covered by the "Bumper to Bumper warranty". Multiple emails to Eddie Boliaux (GM) has proven to be futile. Please think twice before dealing with these people, especially if they try to sell you a useless aftermarket warranty. 2024 Acura MDX review
This SUV is awesome. It is surprising how comfortable and roomy is yet maneuvers so well in tight spaces like parking lots. It has a 3rd row seating which I will not likely ever use but it lays completely flat, so there is no loss of room. The rear area has plenty of room for 4 bags of golf clubs. We drove it to Las Vegas from SoCal last weekend and are really pleased with it.

I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Jack and Brandon kept good communication, weren't pushy and were a pleasure to work with. The business office was quick and explained the paperwork and processes effectively. 2024 Acura MDX review
We’ve owned Acura’s since 1991. Have had sedans and SUV’s. Both MDX and RDX. This is the best one yet. The technology is unbelievable. The ride is superb. The comfort and roominess are second to none. The safety features are remarkable. Can’t say enough about this vehicle.

2024 Acura MDX review
Four months into the driving and configuring my wife's new MDX… So far so good! Excellent finish and interior quality. The car feels solid and is very quiet inside. No rattles, no squeaks, the only abnormal sound I can hear is the jingling of the metal ring on the key fob laying in the door top pocket. Driving mode is easy to switch using large knob in the center console, no need to stop and drill into the menu options like on new Lexus RX. Sport mode eliminates any feelings of insufficient engine power (at expense of the gas mileage, that's for sure), no jerking transmission then either. With about 4000 miles on it, transmission feels silky smooth. The sound system is excellent! The infotainment system is fine - no finger smudges on the screen. BTW, the screen panel quality is way better than the one on new Lexus RX. High contrast, deep black, and no way to get sun glare anywhere near. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto – all work like a charm. Default Acura's navigation is actually not that far behind, giving the choice of seamlessly switching between at least 3 navigation systems at any time during the driving (Acura's, Apple/Google Maps, or Waze in my very modest setup). Engine stop/start is annoying, but there is a way to control it with the brake pedal pressure – light pressure prevents engine from shutting down. Not sure what those rich folks with $60k+ cars are complaining about gas mileage. It's not a city commuter's car. I'm seeing 27-28 mpg cruising on the highway. It doesn't require premium fuel, that's additional 20% fuel economy for you. Driver assist features are all good and very usable. I only don't get why would ACC (adaptive cruise control) need to be that sensitive and require periodic "proof of presence", literally makes me shake the steering wheel a bit every several minutes. I hope Acura will relax this "rule" with the future software update, …please.

2023 Acura MDX review
I have the 23 Acura MDX SH-AWD I love the ride and looks of it. I wished I would have bought one a long time ago . Just wished it got better gas mileage. But for a V6 aspirated engine. I shouldn’t complain. It’s comfortable, handles as good if not better than the Atlas I had.
