I initially brought a used 2017 Audi Q5 in for a purchase inspection, from another dealer. After talking to Nick, who spent 10 minutes with me discussing the Audi inspection, walking around inspecting the vehicle, answering my wife's questions and then reassuring me that the Audi I was interested in still had over 23 months and 30K miles dealer warranty, I decided to at that time not to perform the inspection. 15 minutes after leaving the dealer, my wife and I was discussing Nick's professionalism and attitude. Never trying to push the inspection or any products and services, and how impressed we were with him, we decided to return to Audi Plano for the inspection. Nick was in the service bay, and greeted us like long time customers. He quickly got us in the queue and then arranged a Lyft ride back to our residence in Garland, over 20 minutes away. During the inspection, we recieved video footage of the vehicle being inspected. After the inspection Nick arranged another Lyft ride back to the Audi Plano where he went over the items discovered during the inspection, and proceeded to demonstrate great confidence that the car was of excellent condition. Nick's personality and attitude is the only reason we decided to go ahead with the vehicle inspection.

The 2016/2017 models were the bulk of my test driving. Ended up buying the 2016 Q5 2.0 Premium Plus with ~25k miles on it. Handled like a dream, technology package is great, and gets pretty good mileage. Certified Pre-Owned is the way to go as you can get original warranty as well as the comfort knowing that the car has undergone all of the relevant inspections. Overall great car with good price and resale value.

Like most I was very skeptical about buying a car online. But I did my research and google'd the company like crazy. What I found in my research is the company had laid off people due to rapid growth and during this time frame the reviews were not good at all. Which to me makes sense and most likely vroom could have done a better job to make sure customers did not feel the effects. But after that period the reviews were really good. Also they have a very high rating with the BBB. That all said I decided to purchase my Jeep Wrangler through Vroom. The entire process from start to finish was awesome! I did not do a trade but just a purchase. I submitted my request for finance and purchase on 7/29 Sunday morning and received a call 7/30 Monday morning. I spoke to the sales person which there was no pressure just Q&A. I put down a deposit so I could secure the Jeep. There was communication via email by Vroom throughout the process including when the Jeep was in route. My jeep was delivered within the time frame they explained, which was the following Friday 8/10 cleaned and in excellent condition. I received my tag and paperwork about a month after the Jeep was delivered. I have 3 kids so spending 4 hours at a dealership is not fun. I would definitely buy from Vroom again. It's a small dealership & all the people in the Service Dept know me. They don't push anything on me that I don't want to have done. They are honest. For example, if I tell them you rotate the tires & they don't need to be rotated, they tell me. This is the first dealership I have ever used for routine service on my car and I will continue to use them. I have already recommended them to one person who bought a vehicle from them.

Car buying online can NOT be this easy anywhere else. Submitted credit app, followed up on the app on Monday 6/11/18, got approved, received contracts on Wednesday 6/13/18, returned them back at a FedEx drop-off box, Vroom recevied them on Thursday 6/14/18, paid my deposit as well, Vroom Rep called me on Friday 6/15/18 and said my car had been moved to the shipping department to be inspected and prepared for shipment. On Monday 6/18/18, I received an email saying that estimated delivery day would be 6/20/18. At this point I'm over the top anxious and super excited for 6/20/18. On 6/20/18 evening, around 5:50 p.m., Vroom Rep calls and tells me that the delivery guy won't make the delivery time scheduled for 6/20/18 so it'll be 6/21/18 when he delivers the car. I received my car on 6/21/18 at 6:00 p.m. at a Wal-Mart super center parking lot. I signed the bill of lading and received my keys. Oh, and there must had been miscommunication between the delivery guy and Vroom, because before he handed me my keys he asked who was going to pay him, and I told him my shipping fees and all were included in my financing. So he said they are probably just going to send him a check. Other than that; everything went extremely smooth. I did not run into any problems other than the day delayed delivery (which wasn't a big problem). I am completely satisfied. I received my paperwork and my car all in ONE week!!! ONE week!! It does not get any better or easier than that. The car is freaking awesome, l LOVE it!! It's just like brand new on the inside and almost on the outside, I take that back, it is pratically brand new on the outside with just minor scratches and paint chips. I love love love my car!!! I would highly recommend Vroom to family and friends and to anyone looking to purchase great vehicles at reasonable costs. In the future, I plan to purchase again from Vroom. Thanks Vroom!!

Functional and fun to drive

The car meets all my needs from a function standpoint plus it is fun to drive. It has great acceleration and body roll its negligible. Gas mileage is as advertised, which is exemplary for a car with this kind of performance. I was hesitant in buying a four cylinder engine in a vehicle of this size and weight, but the performance is so much better than the six cylinder I had in the Lexus RX350 that I had right before this car. One major plus for the Audi is it always seems to be in the right gear for accelerating from a start or on the highway. There is no lag in waiting for the transmission to shift or for the turbo to kick in. Plus there are so many ways to set the way the car for shifting, steering feedback and suspension that it is nearly impossible not to find the right setting for any given situation. Functionally, there is plenty of room for four full-sized people and luggage, boxes, golf clubs or whatever else you want to throw in the back. The only minus that I have noted so far is the lack of interior storage for small items. The glovebox is plenty big, but the console has very limited storage capacity and the doors do not have a very functional bins for storing anything larger than a sunglass case. The bin in the console is always open and the design needs some more thought. My car has the upgraded stereo, which eats up space under the floor in the rear hatch area.

What an enjoyable experience

I'm an old(er) guy, and frankly it takes a lot to get me excited. On Tuesday December 13, 2016 I visited Dallas Autos Direct, after seeing a 2007 C230 Mercedes that I wanted to look at. The price was more than reasonable; the car looked great. I had the pleasure of being connected with a young man named "Lou", who answered my initial call. I said I'd be there in a couple hours, and described the car I was interested in. He indicated he'd go look at it, and let me know if he saw anything that concerned him. I thought to myself "sure you will". But, sure enough, he did! He called me within 30 minutes, and told me there was a noise coming from the alternator, but that he'd fix it. I met Lou an hour later, and was greatly impressed. There was absolutely zero pressure, and he answered (completely) all the questions I had. One of those questions was "why would I not purchase this car?" His response was that the maintenance was more expensive than on a Toyota or Nissan or other popular cars, and that an oil change was very expensive. I thought to myself "is he trying to talk me out of the sale?" He was being as straight forward as possible, which I was to pleasantly discover is the way he rolls. Very straight forward, and very up front about everything. I loved the car, and wanted it, but I listened to all that Lou had to say. I live my life trusting what people tell me, and I knew I could trust Lou. He even pointed out a couple flaws in the car that I hadn't seen - a badly removed decal on the rear bumper that was from the original dealer (it's a one-owner car), and a couple rock chips in the paint. The bottom line is that the alternator was replaced, the badly removed decal was buffed out, and the rock chips were hand painted by Lou on the day of delivery. I truly enjoyed dealing with Lou; I bought the car with absolutely zero hesitation. The drive home was exhilarating! I not only greatly enjoyed my purchase, but I've found an automobile salesman I can trust. I left the dealership by telling Lou that I'd definitely see him again. I definitely suggest that you ask for Lou when you call these people; he will certainly be of service.

Let’s get to the nitty gritty: CONS: - Sun Shade of Panoramic Roof will break - Blower Fan for AC/Heat will corrode and break - AC compressor will fail - Cooling System will fail at water pump - Engine will leak oil - Parking Sensors on bumpers will fail - It doesn’t matter which year 3.2 Q5 you have. These things will happen if you own one. This is well documented and Audi will not cover out of warranty. - No Bluetooth Audio, only Phone Calling - Terrible GPS setup - Seat Memory only Positions itself if engine is off - Trunk cannot close remotely Now, the Pros: - Big Panoramic Roof!!!! - Incredible turning radius - Good power on freeway for passing - No Turbo = No Turbo Lag - Sport Mode wakes the car all the way up - QUATTRO will get you through almost any weather including 2 feet of snow - Parts interchangeable with other year/setup Q5s - Decent MPG (25Mpg on cruise control at 70mph) - Great Speaker system Sound - Nice Sounding Engine - Smooth and Quiet on freeway Overall, it’s fun to drive, powerful enough to get a thrill and a pretty solid car when everything is working. Just be prepared to shell out thousands of dollars should anything break.

Had a very good experience in the selling process of an older car that I owned. Initially sent in some info and pictures about the car online which speeds up the process. Followed the footprints to the "Sell Us Your Car Bar". Professional clerk and buyer got key to the car and did a thorough evaluation and returned with offer. Did not insult my well-maintained car like other dealers with low ball offer. Of course, did not get private seller price. Offer to purchase car was a fair deal. No high pressure to buy any of the cars on their lot either. Looked like they have a lot of late model cars at no haggle price. Would recommend for buying or selling your car.

Hands down. The easiest way for me to buy a car. I???d found this dealer thru USAA Car Buying Service and I???m so glad I did. Had a few calls back and forth with my salesperson Michele Conine, sent a few emails and the car I was actually looking for had been sold earlier that day which was disappointing to me but Michele search their inventory and found what I believed to be a better car. The things you really should know before reaching out to Michele and her team: 1) Know what car you???re interested in and exactly which features you???d want 2) Know what you're willing to pay for this. (And do some research beforehand to find out what others paid.) TrueCare.com works. Car buying is hard enough: 1) The car you want may "not be in stock" and you have to pick a different car (with a higher price.) ??? Have your financing pre-approved early so there???s no real haggling to be done. Michele and her team worked with me to secure the best financing options available. Better than my credit union of 13 years. 2) I didn???t experience any hidden fees everything was in black and white no fine print issues that I recall.. 5) Convenience. The only time I spent at the dealership was test driving to decide which car I wanted. I was out in roughly two hours it could have been less I cleared my day to be there. Salesperson: 1) Michele is like that energizer bunny that never quits she made me feel at home and comfortable right off the blocks. She explained Earth???s processes and business practices and how they???ll benefit me. Michele demonstrated courtesy, and professionalism throughout my car buying experience. Car buying online can NOT be this easy anywhere else. Submitted credit app, followed up on the app on Monday 6/11/18, got approved, received contracts on Wednesday 6/13/18, returned them back at a FedEx drop-off box, Vroom recevied them on Thursday 6/14/18, paid my deposit as well, Vroom Rep called me on Friday 6/15/18 and said my car had been moved to the shipping department to be inspected and prepared for shipment. On Monday 6/18/18, I received an email saying that estimated delivery day would be 6/20/18. At this point I'm over the top anxious and super excited for 6/20/18. On 6/20/18 evening, around 5:50 p.m., Vroom Rep calls and tells me that the delivery guy won't make the delivery time scheduled for 6/20/18 so it'll be 6/21/18 when he delivers the car. I received my car on 6/21/18 at 6:00 p.m. at a Wal-Mart super center parking lot. I signed the bill of lading and received my keys. Oh, and there must had been miscommunication between the delivery guy and Vroom, because before he handed me my keys he asked who was going to pay him, and I told him my shipping fees and all were included in my financing. So he said they are probably just going to send him a check. Other than that; everything went extremely smooth. I did not run into any problems other than the day delayed delivery (which wasn't a big problem). I am completely satisfied. I received my paperwork and my car all in ONE week!!! ONE week!! It does not get any better or easier than that. The car is freaking awesome, l LOVE it!! It's just like brand new on the inside and almost on the outside, I take that back, it is pratically brand new on the outside with just minor scratches and paint chips. I love love love my car!!! I would highly recommend Vroom to family and friends and to anyone looking to purchase great vehicles at reasonable costs. In the future, I plan to purchase again from Vroom. Thanks Vroom!!

I was having a problem with my Audi Connect, and after speaking with numerous people over the phone (who could not seem to understand what was wrong with the system), I decided to head over to the DFW Audi dealership. I spoke with Ruby Rodriguez, the Tech Specialist. Not only was Ruby extremely friendly, she was also very eager to help in any way that she could. After taking the time with me to walk through every step of the set-up process, we also were unsuccessful in getting the system to work. I mentioned to her that the Audi Connect technical support team was sending me a new SIM card, and I should receive it that following Friday. Ruby right away mentioned to me, that as soon as I receive the new card, to come back to dealership and she would set this one up from the start. Once I received the card, I came back to the dealership, and just as Ruby mentioned, she walked through all of the steps that she normally would to set up an Audi Connect account. Unfortunately, it still did not work. Ruby never got frustrated, but instead became more inquisitive. Her persistence eventually got us to someone on the Audi Connect dealer support team, who was able get everything to work perfectly!!! I do not think I have ever received customer service like this before! Thank you Ruby and thank you DFW Audi for the way you treat your customers! It truly makes a difference!

Good so far. For a 4 cylinder it can generate a good bit of power when needed. My only complaint so far is that it has minimal storage. The console compartment is small and cannot be accessed unless the cup holder of cups is emptied!

Soooooo helpful!! After we bought the car, they discovered that the rear air shock was leaking air while the car was still being inspected because they had recently acquired it. They could have probably sold it to us with the slow leak and we would have had to spring the $700 ish dollars, but because we had already agreed upon the sales price and it was the right thing to do to fix the air shock, they did the right thing and fixed it at their expense. They also are paying for an additional key.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I received a loan package via FedEx 2 days later, signed all the paperwork, and sent it back in the pre-paid FedEx envelope they provided. About 3 days later, I started getting emails to schedule delivery. The process only took 9 business days from the moment I made the deposit to the moment I got my vehicle. The vehicle was clean, just as described, and runs great. Now I just need to get a state inspection and add this to my insurance policy, and the tags will be mailed to me in a few weeks. Easy Peasey No-Haggle Experience!

Some people thrive on the haggle experience....I am NOT one of those people! My bank was advertising VROOM and I thought I???d take a look. Admittedly, I was scared to buy a car....site unseen....but I was purchasing a new car (2017), so I wasn???t as scared as buying an older model. I called VROOM when I saw the car I wanted and the paperwork (I financed my car through my personal bank, but I hear they finance as well). started right there and then. Literally my car was shipped a week later and was picked up at our local mall (there was 3 other cars dropped off). The only hiccup...they forgot to send my temporary tags for the car, but we got it all squared away. Love my car, been driving it for 4 months now. Positives of buying through VROOM....no haggle, fair price; easy paperwork; 3 month warranty on all cars (try getting that at a regular used car dealership); Roadside Assistantsnce on all cars; FREE shipping to your house (or nearby)! Negatives: When I realized they didn???t send temporary tags with the car, I tried to callig back the 3 people I had worked with to purchase the car and each of their numbers were disconnected which really scared me. I emailed VROOM directly about my tags and they got back to me within the hour and emailed & overnighted my temporary tags. Hopefully, they change this practice and appoint someone to work with you until the car is successfully registered in your home state! Other then that....would totally recommend them!

I really like how this vehicle drives so well, very smooth, responsive, and extremely comfortable drive. The exterior and exterior of the Q5 is beautiful. I do wish it had the touchscreen option however in this SUV with its infotainment system I don’t miss that option too much. The panoramic sunroof is a great feature. I definitely would recommend this vehicle to others.
