2018 Honda Fit review
This things fits EVERYTHING! I purchased this preowned back in 2021 with 48k miles on it. With 4 years of ownership and only 13k miles later, I’ve only ever had to keep up with maintenance including a set of new tires and one recall. Last summer I did notice some plastic paneling in the rear rattling that drove me nuts but haven’t heard it since so let’s hope it doesn’t start anew. With it being so cheap to maintain and the fact it sips gas, I have a hard time finding a justifiable reason to upgrade!

2016 Subaru Impreza review
I love my car. 5 speed with 20k miles. Ive put on another 100k. I have taken this little AWD car places most people dont drive their 4x4’s. But I am meticulous about maintenance. I’ve never had a single issue with anything other than a thermostat replacement and A/C recharge. With the manual I don’t have to worry about a crap cvt. The first clutch lasted 118,000 miles. The only issue was the trust bearing, the clutch was still good. You cant beat a manual AWD that gets 30+ mpg IMO. Take care of the car and it will take care of you.

2017 Volkswagen Golf review
I have a 130k on mine and it runs better than a Swiss watch. No major issues, ever! comfortable, fast and easy on fuel. It has everything that I need and nothing that I do not. 2015 MINI Hardtop review
This car has great character and is fun to drive. It has great pick up with the turbo charged engine but can also be driven in green mode to save on mileage. Mini design is impeccable. They thought of every detail for function and style. I have no complaints about this car other than the parts can be pricey. This is truly the best car I have ever owned.

2017 Kia Forte review
I have owned a Kia Forte for 7 years now. My husband and I love it! We do regular oil changes and maintenance, and keep the car in the garage. At almost 60,000 miles it needed new tires and brakes, but that's not a big surprise. We LOVE the performance of this car -- the turbo function makes it fun to drive and great for passing. It's compact enough that we can park anywhere. And the hatchback is surprisingly large! We ended up selling our Toyota Camry and keeping our Kia because the Kia is a workhorse that hauled furniture and boxes for my husband's business. Way more room than the Camry when we needed to haul things or take our electric bikes on an adventure.

2018 Honda Civic review
I have had my car for a few years now. I have 102k on it now. I took it in for the A/C recall and Fuel pump. My injectors were replaced as part of the fuel pump recall. I have had zero other issues, all was paid for. I am as happy with it now as I have ever been. I get a constant 35MPG combined and it has 205hp with excellent handling. I’m old, I’ve had a lot of cars. This is truly an engineering marvel. How could you get this mileage and power for that price? Do your research. I drive it very aggressively in so cal canyons etc and it makes me smile.. that alone is worth the reasonable price. Mine is stock, but my warranty just ended at 100k so stay tuned……

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage review
I downsized from a 2014 Subaru Forester I had for 10 years, purchasing a 2-year old Mirage SE with a whopping 4000 miles on it. It’s a beautiful tiny car, as loaded as can be, and averages 40 mpg. It works great in the city and on the highway and is a little cocoon of amenities. The visibility out the front window was a bit challenging to get used to due to the black box. And despite only being 5’4” I sit really high to the windscreen. Otherwise the interior fits me great — being aware this is not a car built for bigger people or those needing to haul more than 2 people and some groceries (although I do plan to take it camping), I love the styling and overall zippiness. It was priced very well for the model. This will be a long-term vehicle for me and I’m very pleased a month in.

2017 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
It is a fun car to own, great gas mileage and even if your not going to turn it into a rice burner it is still a awesome little car and gots alot of power, you can get around all these slow idiot drivers that seem to be all over the place. The interior is nice and comfortable, I have already took mine on a trip to Cali and no comfort issues, smart with mechanical other than stuff that should of been taken care of by the dealership on their "certified pre-owned inspection" but that is a dealership laziness issue so stay away from Larry H Miller Volkswagen in Avondale and you should be ok. Look forward to many many years & miles behind the wheel of my car and would recommend this car

2020 Kia Soul review
This is the second sol I have owned and I couldn't be happier. Although both were bought in Tucson Arizona the dealership in Lawrence Kansas has been great. I haven't been notified of a recall on my car I am concerned about the anti theft device I have been hearing about and the oil ring problem in some of the 2020 sols. Just a little worried my car may have this problem. Any info would be great.

Good gas mileage definitely a keeper especially when gas prices are high. Smooth suspension plenty of engine performance. Comfortable seats heated, cargo area is spacious. Touch screen stereo with navigation. Reliable, very nice quality and holds it's value well.

2017 Toyota Yaris review
Haven't had the car very long, but love it. I like the exterior styling and the interior dash and radio display are nice, just keep in mind it's 4 years old so not as fancy as a brand new car - but pretty good sized touch screen. Engine has more power than I thought it would. With 3 adults, I got up to 60mph within the on-ramp for the highway and merged without issue.

THE LITTLE 1.2 DOHC ENGINE IS STRONG BUT MITUSBISHI SHOULD HAVE PUT A STANDARD TURBO ON THIS ENGINE,, THATS WHY MITSUBISHI MADE THE 3A92 MIVEC ENGINE.. HIGHLY DURABLE & STRONG .. What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
2021 Mitsubishi Mirage review
We purchased our Mitsubishi used a year ago and have been quite pleased darting around Los Angeles with this small car. As small as it is, it's quite comfortable, even roomy, inside. Runs well. Highly recommend for older folks like us who don't do a lot of long-range driving.

This was the first time that I've used CarMax... always felt that the "no-haggle" thing was just a grift. It's not. Very fairly priced car in pristine condition. They even transferred it for free. Transaction was relatively quick and painless as well. They were even able to take care of the REAL tags and title there as well. If you do your pricing research, they are most definitely an option. And thankfully there was no sleazy salesman vibe or upwelling. Would gladly use them again. Oh, and they actually FILLED the tank, which USED TO BE commonplace, and I didn't have to ask.

EASY LAID BACK ATMOSPHERE, Tyler was smooth ,humorous and attentive to details. Everything laid out easy to understand, selection of JEEPS small but everyone was a buy, just pick your price range. I had looked online at their vehicles so that I knew to compare each against the other . the test drive offered me my decision. The finance rate was higher than anticipated, so have a plan B, they give you 3 days to get a better rate and come back and pay it off. I bought an extended 150k bumper to bumper warranty for piece of mind due to the miles I drive-$35 a month, worth it!
2015 Hyundai Accent review
Ride could be a bit smoother, I has a pretty exterior good for city and good on the highway could have bit more power is 5th and 6th (they are a bit gutless). It has been reliable and cheap to maintain the tires are cheap for a car. great ABS and the grip in the winter and despite the fairly low clearance front wheel drive it can actually go though a foot of snow with a decent driver.
