2018 Honda HR-V review
I bought my 2018 Honda HRV new with only 53 miles on it and while I was very hesitant initially to get a new car (because depreciation) it was definitely the best decision for me. The car is comfortable to drive, gets great gas mileage, and has been very relatable over the last 5 years. I’ve put new tires on and changed the oil and standard maintenance items. The absolute worst thing I can say is I wish it wasn’t manual seat adjustments, I have the base model.

I highly recommend this crossover if Reliability is your #1 concern . If you sevice your HRV in a timely manner, your HRV will make it to 300,000 miles, without hesitation.

2018 Honda HR-V review
Some early reviewers did not like the power, but it has been fine for me. I am not racing anyone. I like the “magic seat” capability. That has been useful many times. Driven literally across the country — California to Florida — with little fatigue. 60,000 miles and no maintenance issues.

2019 Honda HR-V review
I got the Sport AWD model, but all together it’s just a good quality Honda. I enjoy it, but not gonna lie it is SLOW. The AWD system works really well and the ride and drive is smooth, but the car is genuinely just not meant to be as fast. If you are aiming for speed get an Si or Acura. These are just really great on gas and give you a great sized compact suv for a really great price. Plus who doesn’t love a known brand to last 300,000+ miles.

Perfect size for 70 year old woman. My only suggestion would be automatic back door hatch. Car drives great. Presently leasing thinking of purchase it when lease is up.

2022 Honda HR-V review
The HR-V is a great vehicle, however, the option of heated seat is enemic. Have taken back to dealer 3 times for testing and they say there is nothing wrong and meets specs. I changed dealers and got the same resuts. Well my bottom tells another story and have tested both driver and passenger for heat in the dead of winter of winter. There is absolutely no heat from either seat. Tested from current dealer with the same results. Maybe we are jinxs as my wife and other passengers can confirm lack of heat, or, no heat at all.

We have a Hot Pepper Red 2024 Ford Maverick XLT we ordered and took delivery of in Kentucky Feb. 2024. We wanted a second white one so we went online and found several available with exactly the options we desired. I responded to numerous dealer websites nearby to confirm what they had online was in fact still available. Jarrett was the most timely and effective communicator. I worked with their sales consultant Todd Rogers. The next day we took delivery of the Maverick. Everything went as presented with no problems or surprises. I have been buying new vehicles from dealerships for 60 years and Todd has been selling cars for over 40 years first in his northern home state and now in his Florida retirement state. I would say that means we have a hundred years of experience in the car selling and buying business between us. In all those years I have developed an ongoing personal friendship with three sales persons. I felt the same initial comfort level working with Todd. In closing everything about the dealership and staff we met was outstanding. We look forward to Jarrett Ford servicing and maintaining both of our Mavericks.
2018 Honda HR-V review
The battery failed when the car was new, Honda replaced it. Now the gas gauge is frozen. Overall I enjoy driving my hrv, it is a good sized car for me. Wish the rear headrest was easier to move

2016 Honda HR-V review
Bought this car new in 2016. Had it for 5 years and 113,000 miles. I have driven this car 6 times from NY to FL and back. No issues with comfort. I love the magic seats and have packed out this car to the max every time I make this trip. I tend to be a fast driver and haven't had any issues with acceleration. Would I buy another HRv? Sure would.

2021 Honda HR-V review
We had Bought our 2021 Honda H-RV brand new and it has been a Great Vehicle over all, There are a couple few things that I would of liked a little differently, like for instance the power windows it has "auto" for the drivers side only, I personally would of liked it on both drivers and passangers side (But definitely not a big deal) and the compartment space's there Isn't Any other than the small glove box and a small one between the driver and passanger seat's" I personally like extra compartments " (but again not a big deal) And as far as anything that I would say that I do not like as for the car it's self is that when I roll down a window or open the sun roof there is some odd kind of Whistling noise "that drives my in sane" And it has been doing that every sense the day we bought it!!!🤪🤨🤔🥺🤯!! We have had our H-RV of course now for 2 years and the only Issues We have noticed was... In the past week there is two lights that came on in my information panel one say's "Emissions problem" and the other one says "Electric break system problem" and tells me to see my dealer.

Floyd Schafer and Geoff Walker are absolutely amazing. I had some issues with the leather stitching on my 2025 Kia Telluride SX Prestige XLine. I went to 2 dealers near my house and was pretty much told to eat dust. I emailed Floyd and explained my situation. He immediately responded back and told me they would take care of it. I was blown away the process with them was so easy. Floyd put me in touch with Geoff and scheduled me to have my bottom portion leather on my drivers seat replaced. Both them kept informed and updated with when seat cushion arrived and even asked when was a convenient day for me to bring it in. I was even more blown away they gave me a loaner car until part was replaced, I would have been happy to wait the 4 hours for them to replace the part. I can’t thank Floyd and Geoff enough for helping this ordeal so painless and easy. I’ll gladly drive my Telluride the distance and have it serviced there from now on, even if it’s a drive. If they are that easy to work with, I have zero reservations they won’t rip me off like the other two dealers would based on how they wouldn’t handle the simple warranty claim. Thanks a million Floyd and Geoff, you’re truly an asset to the Kia brand and your dealership. I’ll be seeing you both regularly for routine maintenance.
2019 Honda HR-V review
If you want a hot rod and home office in your vehicle look elsewhere. If you want a reliable, fuel efficient, and comfortable ride this is your vehicle. Has just enough technology, but not so much where you are angry and frustrated with the technology. People complain about the acceleration, my question is: how fast do you need to go? I have the awd sport and enjoy the way the vehicle handles the road. Added bonus: ample room in the backseat and trunk. Lumbar support is awesome as well.

They also were fairly cooperative about most of my requests to “seal the deal” (minor touch-up/clean up items). My only suggestions would be to see about hastening the shipping experience if that’s even possible and put a bit more effort into detail of the car before listing for sale - the car had been in their hands for a couple of months and just needed a couple small detail items to make it close to perfect for selling a 20+ year old vehicle (these were the items I had to request at time of negotiation). Nice work overall - just looking forward to the shipper to arrive that will be a great day!

Would not recommend this car to avery large person but for a smaller individual it is perfect, Runs well, has more pick up than I thought it would have. Based on only been driving it for 3 weeks I do recommend it.

Jose seems like a good salesman still looking for a Ridgeline in my price range. I am not in a rush . Something will come along. If there's any recalls for the Ridgeline I believe the dealership should take care of before purchase. If there's a issue. The 2017 Ridgelines had transmission problem 6 speed. I have to do my homework when making a purchase. Don't have 12,000 to replace a transmission plus a car payment.

Nice little car. But.,,I have an oil leak at 32,000 miles. Not good. Otherwise perfect for me. Just wish Honda would start making cars with color. Always silver, white, black. Blah.

This is our second time coming to Huntington Honda. The first time back in 2014 when we bought a Honda Pilot that is still running well. This time we stopped by in May 2026 looking for a Honda CRV that we had seen online. If you are in the market for CRV you will know that a 2012 CRV under $10,000 is hard to find. We first met with Glen, the parts manager. Very personable and great guy. He got us setup with the sales representative, Marvin, who let us take a test drive. The car drove well and we were almost ready to buy the car, but we had one more to look at. We asked Glen if we could put a deposit down on the car while we go look at the other car, but unfortunately we could. However, he said we could call him from the other dealership and put a hold on the CRV if the other car didn't work out. Well, turns out on our ride to the other dealership we get a call that the car we are going to see is no longer available. So, we call up Huntington Honda and tell them we are coming back to purchase the vehicle and to wait for us, which they did. After which we sat with Marvin and the financial team on a Saturday afternoon and purchased and drove the car home the same day. We didn't come in and buy a brand new vehicle or even one of the more expensive used vehicles, but we were treated with honesty and respect. As far as car buying experiences go, both of our times have been great. There are no hidden fees and the price you see is the price you get. 2017 Honda HR-V review
I own a 2017 Honda HRV 1.5 Petrol FW CVT (European model). I’m the first owner and I just reached 220k Kilometers. No issues so far except for a start/stop button replacement and a scheduled suspension replacement (200k). All the services and oil changes were made on time according to the manual. I also started doing the oil/fluid changes (engine & cvt transmission) in less kilometers than the proposed schedule once the car reached 180k kilometers. The European edition 1.5 petrol motor responds well but I believe that a bigger motor would be more suitable for the specific model. I’ve traveled a lot on asphalt, gravel and snow (with a good pair of snow tires) and in temperatures varying between 14 to 113 Fehrenheit.

2017 Honda HR-V review
I will try updating this as I continue using the car. So far I have 50k miles on my 2017 HRV and I’ve done a battery replacement, tire replacement and a few oil changes. Other than these things I have not had to spend any extra money on the car. I have a peace of mind knowing that this car won’t break down because it’s a Honda. Despite all of this I deducted a point from my scoring because my trim didn’t have Apple CarPlay, I wish it was standard like other manufacturers have it as. I also don’t think the exterior looks the best, but it’s fine. The AWD on this car is great and has helped me through Pennsylvanian winters. Overall I think this is the best value for the money.

2022 Honda HR-V review
Great highway cruiser. Drive it normal and it reacts to your habits. Not alot of get up and go power but it likes to be driven. Great on gas. Would absolutely recommend. Small yet big. Your propped up, not feel like sitting on ground especially when you're getting out of it.

2016 Honda HR-V review
Grappone Honda gave Fast competent service, my 2016 hrv transmission failed December 2020 @ 110,000 near end of extended 125,000 warranty. Glad I got the extended warranty. Going to keep my eye on the new CVT transmissions fill plug and breather port. The HRV AWD has handled snow perfectly so we’re keeping it. Dealership also noted our keyless entry was failing and replaced the start/stop switch under warranty, to bad it didn’t cover the water in the tail lights. No charges all work done under warranty. Just wish all car manufacturers would design cars to not allow pests to enter in cabin air filter and engine filters where they like to store pounds of nuts, it can’t be that hard to design an accessible removable mesh grill. Our 2008 Element still running strong with a hand made mesh grill installed over engine filter opening, no nuts in the filter box! Ps all fit,civic,hrv with CVT need to keep eye on the CVT fill port and keep its breather port clean. Breather port gets blocked and pops the fill plug off. Look on line for the ( Honda service report A19090B Version 1 ) All the info you need.

2016 Honda HR-V review
Overall, it's great! It's a Honda and it is reliable and holds up well over time! It can be parked anywhere! However, the heater is terrible - takes over 20 minutes to warm up the car inside (my 1996 Civic and 2002 CR-V had fantastic heaters, I don't know what Honda's done to ruin their heaters). It is also bad for road noise, it is difficult to hear passengers because of all the road noise on a highway!
