2024 Honda HR-V review
I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

2025 Honda HR-V review
Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

THEY DIDN'T LISTEN AND WAS ALL ABOUT THE SALE!! I TOLD HIM WHAT I WANTED AND WHAT I NEEDED AND HE SAID OK LET'S SEE WHAT WE CAN FIND. TANNER LISTENED TO WHAT I WAS SAYING DIDN'T JUST DO WHAT HE WANTED TO MAKE A SALE. THAT WAS GOLD STAR #1. HE TALKED TO ME LIKE A PERSON AND AGAIN LISTENED TO ME AND DIDN'T RUSH TO MAKE A SALE. GOLD STAR#2. HE FOUND A SUV THAT WAS WHAT I WAS DESCRIBING AND THEN SOME. 2021 HONDA CRV. WE TOOK IT FOR A DRIVE AND IT WAS PERFECT!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER FELL IN LOVE WITH THE 1ST CAR DRIVEN AS MOST SALESPEOPLE END UP BRINGING ME VEHICLES THAT I DON'T WANT BECAUSE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE SALE. I NEEDED TO TAKE TIME AND WORK OUT SOMETHINGS WITH ANOTHER MEMBER OF MY HOUSEHOLD BEFORE MAKING A FINAL DECISION AND TANNER AND HIS CREW WERE UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THAT AND DIDN'T PRESSER ME AND HERASS ME. THEY ALLOWED ME TO GO HOME AND TAKE CARE OF WHAT I NEEDED TOO. FAST FORWARD TO THE NEXT DAY, I WENT BACK AFTER WORK AND MADE THE FINAL DEAL. THEY WORKED WITH ME NOT ONLY ON A PROFESSIONAL PERSONAL LEVEL BUT ON A FINACIAL LEVEL AS WELL. THEY KEPT MY PAYMENTS WHERE I NEEDED THEM AND MY INTEREST LOW! AGAIN THEY LISTENED TO WHAT I NEEDED! (PEORIA FORD IF YOU SEE THIS MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET RETRAINED BY THEM) THEY ARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND NOT ABOUT BEING PUSHY ON A SALE. 2022 Honda HR-V review
The HR-V is a great vehicle, however, the option of heated seat is enemic. Have taken back to dealer 3 times for testing and they say there is nothing wrong and meets specs. I changed dealers and got the same resuts. Well my bottom tells another story and have tested both driver and passenger for heat in the dead of winter of winter. There is absolutely no heat from either seat. Tested from current dealer with the same results. Maybe we are jinxs as my wife and other passengers can confirm lack of heat, or, no heat at all.

So slow it’s almost unsafe! Front seats are not comfortable. Blind spot in side mirrors. Everything else is good. Base engine needs 40 more horses. Sport trim should have a turbo engine.

2019 Honda HR-V review
I got the Sport AWD model, but all together it’s just a good quality Honda. I enjoy it, but not gonna lie it is SLOW. The AWD system works really well and the ride and drive is smooth, but the car is genuinely just not meant to be as fast. If you are aiming for speed get an Si or Acura. These are just really great on gas and give you a great sized compact suv for a really great price. Plus who doesn’t love a known brand to last 300,000+ miles.

2019 Honda HR-V review
If you want a hot rod and home office in your vehicle look elsewhere. If you want a reliable, fuel efficient, and comfortable ride this is your vehicle. Has just enough technology, but not so much where you are angry and frustrated with the technology. People complain about the acceleration, my question is: how fast do you need to go? I have the awd sport and enjoy the way the vehicle handles the road. Added bonus: ample room in the backseat and trunk. Lumbar support is awesome as well.

2017 Honda HR-V review
I own a 2017 Honda HRV 1.5 Petrol FW CVT (European model). I’m the first owner and I just reached 220k Kilometers. No issues so far except for a start/stop button replacement and a scheduled suspension replacement (200k). All the services and oil changes were made on time according to the manual. I also started doing the oil/fluid changes (engine & cvt transmission) in less kilometers than the proposed schedule once the car reached 180k kilometers. The European edition 1.5 petrol motor responds well but I believe that a bigger motor would be more suitable for the specific model. I’ve traveled a lot on asphalt, gravel and snow (with a good pair of snow tires) and in temperatures varying between 14 to 113 Fehrenheit.

2016 Honda HR-V review
Overall, it's great! It's a Honda and it is reliable and holds up well over time! It can be parked anywhere! However, the heater is terrible - takes over 20 minutes to warm up the car inside (my 1996 Civic and 2002 CR-V had fantastic heaters, I don't know what Honda's done to ruin their heaters). It is also bad for road noise, it is difficult to hear passengers because of all the road noise on a highway!

I love the look of this body style, unfortunately they changed they body style so next time I buy a car it won’t be the HR-V with backseat handle that make the vehicle look like a sedan.

The Buying Experience: I came in looking for a specific Tesla Model Y that was still being processed as a trade-in. Despite the logistical hurdles, Mark worked tirelessly to make the car available for me to buy that same day. He then handed us off to Briana M., and the rest was history! A huge shoutout to the Business Operations Manager, Cherisse O., for her expertise in clearing the paperwork and title issues so I could drive home in the car I wanted. The Trade-In: CarMax made trading in my Jeep Laredo X incredibly easy. While Friendly Ford in Las Vegas tried to lowball me at $25,500, CarMax offered a fair $31,800. They are honest and easily the best to work with. The Service (The True Test): The real 5-star service happened after the sale. My 2025 Tesla Model Y had a minor error, and Vanessa Blaschick in the service department was a total rockstar. She walked me through the entire process, kept me updated constantly, and coordinated a transfer to Tesla to ensure it was repaired correctly and for free. I had my car back within 48 hours! High praises to the management team at this location for hiring such professional, dedicated people like Mark, Briana, Cherisse, and Vanessa. They’ve earned a customer for life!

2018 Honda HR-V review
Some early reviewers did not like the power, but it has been fine for me. I am not racing anyone. I like the “magic seat” capability. That has been useful many times. Driven literally across the country — California to Florida — with little fatigue. 60,000 miles and no maintenance issues.
