2023 Hyundai ELANTRA HEV review
I've had my 2023 Elantra HEV for 1200miles so far. Averaging 50 mpg with mix of hwy/city driving. All the tech works well, and there is a lot of tech! It is a smooth and comfortable ride for a non-luxury compact car. I sold my Lincoln Continental to buy this simply because I plan on driving it cross country a lot over the next few years and it will be under warranty for 100k/ 10 years and for the MPG. So far, i am very happy with the purchase, and my wife always wants to drive it, instead of my Subaru Outback or my Mercedes E320.

That resulted in a 2% increase in our interest rate which resulted in about a hundred extra dollars a month. That is something we can fix ourselves in a month or two but just be aware of that. I was welcomed as family, offered snacks and drinks, was completely heard in each question I asked and comment I made, was treated with respect, approached by everyone with kindness and a smile, and was reassured that my excellent experience with them meant more to them than just selling a car. They truly value the customer service they provide and follow through on that in their actions and how they treat and follow up with their customers. I am certain Van Horn Hyundai of Fon Du Lac wouldn’t hire just anyone onto their sales team, and that anyone you work with would be fantastic, but Sean really is the guy to see! He was personable and truly made my time there SO MUCH FUN! It felt as relaxed and upbeat as buying a car from a long-time friend. Tyler on the finance side of the process never made me feel pressured and did what he could to ensure I walked out of there totally satisfied with my deal. 2023 Hyundai ELANTRA HEV review
This is my 3rd Hyundai. The last 2 (a Sonata and Elantra) I owned over 10 years ago. I honestly don't know why I stopped buying Hyundai. I'm 6'3" tall and fit very comfortably in my 2023 Hyundai Elantra HEV Limited. I commute 90 miles daily and the ride is smooth and comfy. It is a compact, 4 cylinder car so I am not expecting a whole lot of power. Once driving though, it has lots of pep. The interior looks like that of a luxury car. There are some plastics inside, but they blend in well with the softer materials. The autonomous features work very well and the design and color (I have calypso red) turns heads. I know I am not driving the Sonata, or any other full sized car, so I adjusted my expectations. The Civic is the closest competitor and they don't have half the features the Elantra has.

I IMMEDIATLY TOLD HIM THAT I HATE CAR SHOPPING AS IT COMES WITH ANXIETY AND ITS NOT MY CUP OF TEA AND THAT I WENT TO PEORIA FORD AND WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I RECIEVED. THEY DIDN'T LISTEN AND WAS ALL ABOUT THE SALE!! I TOLD HIM WHAT I WANTED AND WHAT I NEEDED AND HE SAID OK LET'S SEE WHAT WE CAN FIND. TANNER LISTENED TO WHAT I WAS SAYING DIDN'T JUST DO WHAT HE WANTED TO MAKE A SALE. THAT WAS GOLD STAR #1. HE TALKED TO ME LIKE A PERSON AND AGAIN LISTENED TO ME AND DIDN'T RUSH TO MAKE A SALE. GOLD STAR#2. HE FOUND A SUV THAT WAS WHAT I WAS DESCRIBING AND THEN SOME. 2021 HONDA CRV. WE TOOK IT FOR A DRIVE AND IT WAS PERFECT!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER FELL IN LOVE WITH THE 1ST CAR DRIVEN AS MOST SALESPEOPLE END UP BRINGING ME VEHICLES THAT I DON'T WANT BECAUSE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE SALE. I NEEDED TO TAKE TIME AND WORK OUT SOMETHINGS WITH ANOTHER MEMBER OF MY HOUSEHOLD BEFORE MAKING A FINAL DECISION AND TANNER AND HIS CREW WERE UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THAT AND DIDN'T PRESSER ME AND HERASS ME. THEY ALLOWED ME TO GO HOME AND TAKE CARE OF WHAT I NEEDED TOO. FAST FORWARD TO THE NEXT DAY, I WENT BACK AFTER WORK AND MADE THE FINAL DEAL. THEY WORKED WITH ME NOT ONLY ON A PROFESSIONAL PERSONAL LEVEL BUT ON A FINACIAL LEVEL AS WELL. THEY KEPT MY PAYMENTS WHERE I NEEDED THEM AND MY INTEREST LOW! AGAIN THEY LISTENED TO WHAT I NEEDED! (PEORIA FORD IF YOU SEE THIS MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET RETRAINED BY THEM) THEY ARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND NOT ABOUT BEING PUSHY ON A SALE.
