I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

All work required to make my vehicle repairs and checks complete and correct we’re performed to my total satisfaction while I waited in the comfortable customer waiting area as work was supervised under the outstanding guidance of Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. As a regular customer at the service department I always ask for the consistently courteous and flawless management of my vehicle requests by Oscar Galatia. Under Oscar’s guidance from his earliest work with Autobarn Mazda of Evanston to date, I never have had to return to him with a complaint that the work had been done poorly, with mistakes made, or required work not having been done at all. Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. I suggest that management do whatever it can to retain the services of its multi-talented and perceptive Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. He is well trained, experienced, intelligent, and dedicated as I have seen first hand when he has worked with me. I would recommend this car for a single individual, maybe as a commuter or a teenage driver. I wouldn’t recommend for growing families. Four adults will not fit comfortably, it’s just too small. I wish I would have got the CX-70 but they’re just too expensive.

Did road trip Florida to Pa.. Without turbo, still has enough power to pass with ease. Use WAZE for navigation, the Mazda GPS - learning curve. I think for $50,000 Premium Plus it should come with fog lights. Little more curtesy lighting or illuminating door lock/unlock door switch. A little more secure storage would also be nice. The car is still a keeper and no plans to replace. Average 27.4 MPH.

Service was amazing! I would say we were in and out within an hour and a half our advisor explained everything to us. We have no complaints.

I am very happy with my purchase. I already owned a 2018 CX-5 and it never gave me any problems so I had no qualms about purchasing another Mazda. I went with the CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus for the horsepower and the extra perks (i.e. automatic folding mirrors, and I like that the side mirrors also turn down to see the curb when parking, front AND rear cameras, panoramic sun/moonroof, speed display in windshield, heated and ventilated cooling seats, and a 12-speaker Bose Stereo system). I love the extra power of the Turbocharged engine that my CX-5 doesn't have. The things I don't care for: 1) the retractable cargo cover (a $250 addl charge) doesn't attack to the lift (like my CX-5 does. It's much more convenient if it's attached so there's no pulling it out each time you need to put something in the trunk; 2) I don't like that I have to turn off the automatic shut off of the engine at stops and that I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. I'd like there to be an option to turn it off indefinitely unless and until I want to turn it on; 3) I would also love it if the driver and front passenger seats raised a bit higher. I'm not short but I would feel more comfortable if the seat height lifted another couple of inches. Overall, I really love my car. The steering is tight and the ride is more comfortable than I expected, and the inside of the cab is quiet and the stereo is premium. The seats are attractive with the light colored stitching to accent the seats. Because of all the features in my model, I got a lot of bang for my buck as opposed to a more expensive car costing $20K more for all the same features with Mazda reliability as well as more reasonable/affordable maintenance costs. I had a BMW several years ago and, once out of warranty, the maintenance is ridiculously costly. Additionally, the service department at the dealership where I purchased my car is top notch and the transparency for maintenance is appreciated! In the last 7 years of owning a Mazda, I have never had a bad experience.

Despite this being the final year offered (the CX-90 will replace it soon) the CX-9 is still a looker. The 6 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the 2.5L turbo has plenty of power to move this 4200 pound AWD, SUV. Seats are very comfortable in both first and middle and I keep the third row folded down leaving a good sized cargo area for hauling groceries, 50lb bags of birdseed, softener salt and anything else I need to carry. And I absolutely love the way this thing handles! It feels far more like a nimble car than a 3 row SUV. The 12 speaker Bose sound system is clear and powerful. The cabin is very quiet at all speeds. The ride is firm but solid and comfortable. Not a squeak or rattle. I have the Carbon Edition and I feel it looks as fresh as any new three row mid-sized SUV out there. I traded my 2019 Ram Limited (an incredibly luxurious truck for the Mazda and I was concerned about adapting to a smaller vehicle but the CX-9 is everything I could have hoped for. I would recommend anyone who enjoys driving and has to occasionally carry some bulky stuff to consider one of these before they're gone.

Excellent customer service from Kristian. Had questions about a few functions on the car and they were demonstrated to me and answered perfectly. The video provided by the auto tech was very helpful.

Mazda is comfortable, I'm in my 70's Reliable, rides great, great on gas. Something that is great on the road, Able to handle, I've handle: M-6 sadan, SUV 5, big enough good room ,and M-cx30 and 3. All long distance traveling. And not high maintenance. Good for all season

I really do love my CX-90 PHEV but, as anyone will tell you as an early owner of a brand new model of anything, there are kinks to work out. I can get most of my driving done on battery without having to transition to the gas engine which is awesome. The amount of time it takes to charge is not awesome. I would schedule all of my charging to happen late at night when power is cheapest but the charger it comes with takes 11 hours to fully charge. I bought a level 2 charger which takes closer to 8 hours. An improvement but not what I was hoping for. The infotainment system randomly but consistently disconnects from my phone without explanation or warning. It reconnects quickly but it is very annoying. Finally, the engine will sometimes have hiccups when I'm driving on either engine. I will feel a weird surge of power which worries me a bit. Other than not being able to get the color I wanted (I was told "soul red" isn't popular on larger, "mom" cars) I am very happy with the car. It is stylish, fits my whole family very comfortably, and it was a wonderful upgrade from my 2020 CX-5 (which I also LOVED). I can't wait to see what the future holds with PHEV vehicles. What a wonderful bridge between gas and electric - makes it feel totally reliable!

Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

So far so amazing. After this car, I'm very positive I will buy the same model. By the way, I don't know when it's going to happen since I feel like this car would stay healthy forever. Cargo room seems like the only part missing but getting a compact SUV like this? It was expected.

I've owned our CX 70 for 9 1/2 months, I like the car very much! So far the car has no problems! I like the 6 cylinder engine in our CX 70, it has adequate power and runs very smoothly. I like the styling both inside and outside. My only suggestions to Mazda to improve the vehicle is to allow the AC vents on the dash to be able to swivel up higher to blow cool air higher in the front of the car. And, the auto off and auto on feature should be smoother, but the system is not so bothersome to turn it off. My fuel mileage has averaged 17.5 miles per gallon, my driving has only been in stop and go traffic. I have not driven the car enough on highways to determine the fuel consumption over the road.

Owned the car 5 months. Very happy with interior comfort and the stowing/storage space in the rear. The sound system is impressive. Took a little time to become accustomed to the entertainment system but I just needed experience. Good road handling in the winter. Practically no road noise. I appreciate the lane indicator features. Great small SUV

Bought a brand new 2023 Mazda CX 30 and really like the safety features that are standard features in this car. As an empty nester and retiree, the lane keep assist and lane warning are a welcome feature in this car. The lane warning and assist has an pleasant chime warning sound and the steering wheel vibrate warning the driver that he/she is deviating from the lane. With a little nudge of the steering wheel by the system get you back in your lane. Blind spot monitoring is also a great safety feature to let the driver know that a nearby car is on the nest lane, caution is suggested when changing lane. Cross traffic alert is also great, and it can even detect a person approaching the back side of your car when on reverse, of course it also detects a car approaching when reversing. The interior fit and finish is excellent, it makes the car feel and look like a luxury car without the price of a luxury car. This car is brand new, so I am still in the process of learning about the car. IMO, if you want to experience how the Mazda CX 30 is, get a test drive. You may like it or love it like I do. 10 STARS I’ve been coming to this location for few years and overall, I have to say that they are very attentive. When they list and explain the problem with my van, they are always clear. Marco from Service Department always goes above and beyond…the best experience. From pulling into the garage to getting my rodder fix, to rental car, he made it a stress-free transaction. Which I believe, is how it should be. Marco is always friendly, professional and efficient. I cannot forget Carlos who helped walked me through rental car yesterday. He was very knowledgeable and patience to my questions. Then the other Marco from Service Porter did a fantastic job washing and cleaning my van. I mean, my van looked brand new…he was very thorough. I have never experienced this kind of service. My one-hour commute to this location is totally worth it. Great hire manager. Even though this facility is a first come first serve basis they can get very busy here sometimes, but when I come in when they first open or even at 9am I am usually out the door within 1-2 hours. The staff/check-out will do what they can to help speed the process. It really depends what type of work you need to be done.

My tenth Mazda since 2010. Good looking vehicle, interior is well done. My only issue is road noise from the tires. It is a Turbo Premium Plus but louder than my 2019 CX9 GT. Not much wind noise or any other noise but just the tires.

I've done a lot of research on this model and I've never seen a poor rating. Now I know why! This is one of the most fun cars I've ever driven and it rides really well!
