2018 MINI Clubman review
This is my second Mini and I didn't know if I would love the Clubman S more than my old Countryman, but I absolutely made the right call getting the Clubman. It handles so well, is so peppy, and comfortable. I don't know if I can ever drive another car other than a Clubman! I am pleased to be able to write a positive review of my experience with buying a used car from Auto Wholesalers of Temple Hills in Maryland. Buying a used car from an unknown individual or business is always a bit risky as there is a fair bit of trust that goes into the transaction. I’ve done it many times and have above average knowledge about cars and mechanics, so I bring good experience to the process. Fortunately, Sean, who sold me the car and runs the business, turned out to be completely reliable and true to his word. Sean was completely up front about the car’s sordid history, and he was transparent about where he had purchased the car and what his shop had done to prepare it for re-sale. He priced the car very fairly so I ended up getting an excellent used car at an excellent price. Indeed, I would have spent many $1000’s more to get a comparable car from a dealer or CarMax. My mechanic found the car to be in very good shape, with no surprises, confirming my positive but more superficial evaluation of the car. I’ll never know the full history of this car, but it no longer matters. It runs very well and is mechanically sound. Of note, Sean went above and beyond what he needed to do to sell me the car, doing the leg work to get an extra smart key for me at an excellent price, giving me some extra parts to use down the road, offering to continue to support the maintenance of the car (for free) beyond his standard 30 day warranty, and handling the car registration with the MVA accurately and expeditiously. Honestly, I only have good things to say about Sean and how he worked with me during our transactions – he was honest, friendly, and professional. His business office is not fancy (that’s an understatement), but he was an honest broker, and that’s what I needed. I would definitely do business with Sean and Auto Wholesalers of Temple Hills again.
2013 MINI Roadster review
My 2013 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works Roadster is absolutely a blast. The JCW package includes more power and better brakes and suspension for fun back roads blasting and autocross use. It's a little harsh for daily driving, however, as the JCW suspension is a little lower and stiffer. I also have ultra high performance run flats on it, as there's no room for a spare, and I don't want to wait around for a tow if I get a nail or something in a tire. When new, this was a $45k car, and a bit expensive for a MINI. But on the used market, they are a real performance and economy value. They do have a reputation for worse reliability than normal cars, but if you find a well taken care of example, the N18 powered JCW and S roadsters are actually quite robust. I hope to have this car for many fun filled years to come, and would recommend people looking at sports cars give them a chance.

2024 MINI Hardtop review
A brilliant mark of automotive excellence. An abundance of personality, only to be outdone by my 9lb chihuahua. - 135 horsepower is more than plenty on the freeway, and far too much for the city. - The design of the interior cabin feels I am already in the future, as opposed to the present. - The cabin is also very quiet. I hardly hear cars and noise around me - the sound quality from the sound system is spectacular, and the audio from phone calls is unbelievably clear. - I've never driven a car with better handling. I would say it is in a Goldielocks zone of having enough wiggle for comfort and stiffness for performance.

It be of no secret that the Germans are behind the production of the MINI Brand. The fit and finish, drive, engineering and even smell are all very much in tune with the Brand's Ownership. The drive and sheer joy one feels from driving one of these products makes you feel like a kid again, playing with their favorite toy after a day of school. There are bigger and more expensive offerings to choose but none have the character or joy of ownership of a MINI.

Love my Mini Clubman. Everyone wants to go in my car! I have 65,000 miles and have had no issues. I get my oil changes, tire rotations and scheduled maintenance only from MIni as I have observed regular mechanics scratching their heads after lifting the hood!

2018 MINI Countryman review
Bought a 2018 Mini Countryman Base model pre owned and have loved everyday with it. Only had one issue and that being something with the Valve Gas Breather. I have yet to fix it yet and it’s been about 3 months. Doesn’t cause any noticeable performance issue (besides the decrease in fuel mileage), just the check engine light on. Other than that, I drive this around the island. Very easy to park and maneuver around. I am planning on getting the newer Mini Countryman about 2 years after they’re released so they can work out all the kinks and stuff.

My wife and I were considering a Subaru Forester Touring model. Our salesman answered all our questions and met all our requests which included having him drive us in the Forester over rough roads at some speed and again at slow speeds in stop and go traffic. He also arranged to meet our request to have the car for 24 hours so we could drive it on the highway and on Capitol Hill were we live. We can also report that the finance department was efficient and quick to provide us with pricing. Beyer's price and financing were very competitive. Finally, the facility itself is clean, spacious and modern. All together, a very pleasant shopping experience. Our salesman was Vesko Pashpurov. He was great. We have yet to decide whether or not to purchase the Forester or the Crosstrek.
