My husband and I are no strangers to car buying. Due to lifestyle changes and a love of new cars, we've shared 7 different car buying experiences in our 13 years together. Gengras Volvo has definitely topped the charts of all of our experiences. We were drawn to Volvo after a friend raved about the safety features and reliability she had experienced with her Volvo SUV. We chose Gengras mainly due to the convenience of the location and we certainly made the right choice. The no pressure, relaxing and sophisticated environment of the showroom was immediately comforting. Vecdet was our salesman and Allen was instrumental in the transaction as well. I cannot say enough about the professional and kind approach displayed by everyone that we encountered. On the day I picked up my new car, it was covered inside the showroom. Vecdet and another associate unveiled it for me, I felt like a celebrity. Vecdet went on to spend a generous amount of time walking me through all of the features of my vehicle as well as guiding me on canceling the registration on my former vehicle. He had all of the answers to my questions- before I could even ask them. I've owned the car for 3 days and have been contacted by phone and email- simply to say thank you and see if I am happy with my purchase. Vecdet has also encouraged me to stop down if I have any questions about my new vehicle. Up until walking into Gengras, I had always felt like a walking dollar sign whenever I entered a car dealership. This couldn't be further from what we experienced during this transaction. This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I am writing this on behalf on my parents Ron and Joyce Lucco who this Tuesday purchased a 2013 Nissan Frontier. They have been searching for awhile now and even looked at some of the new vehicles but another year rolls by. This month they started their search again and came to your dealership. They were very very pleased with the whole process and asked for my input. My parents are in their mid 70's and are a little nervous about the whole event. Sid was the salesman and I can not say enough kind things about this fellow. He treated my parents extremely well and explained everything to them. Various online reports and pricing was openly showed to them. Basically the same thing I was doing. Sid and the manager gave them a very fair price. Sid went above and beyond to get the truck detailed the day I came to look at it on behave of my parents. Sid was an absolute gentleman who was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was very concerned about every detail and that everything was as perfect as could be. In the future if a Nissan is on my horizon I will most definitely go directly to your dealership at that very moment. One last comment, the others that we met as we were looking for Sid were just as wonderful. We had pulled in Saturday with the old truck and a small boat after fishing looking for a place to park so that I could take a test drive. We looked a bit funny but a fellow employee saw us and asked if he could help. After we told him our story he described how in the morning salesman meeting we were the two guys stopping in after fishing . Both my Dad and I looked at each other with a smile and it was then I knew this was a great place to buy a vehicle.

There was nothing new to this leaf. I've researched them a lot and test drove one other one. This one was on par with what I've seen/drove. My mine focus was on the drive range depletion while driving. I drove 20 miles but only lost 15 miles in drive range thanks to the braking regeneration.

The car buying process can be both stressful and unnerving but the staff of Middletown Nissan have made this process incredibly easy and effortless. I came in to look at a specific car that I'd seen on the website and was greeted by both Sid and Tony. They were professional and informative while making the whole process anything BUT overwhelming. Sid took me for a test drive and answered my questions quickly and accurately, while explaining certain features that I was unfamiliar with in such a fashion that I could actually understand ( considering I admittedly know very little about cars). I brought my 2005 Nissan Maxima in on Saturday because it kept stalling on me. I drove right up to the service garage and right in. I was met by David Cyr and Juan the second I stepped out of my car. I explained what was going on with my car within minutes My information was taken and Juan took my car to the back to look at it. I had someone follow me so I can run errors while they were looking at my car. I left and not long after that I received a phone call from David Cyr stating that Juan had found the problem and that with my permission they were going to start working on my car. They weren't sure if they had one of the parts they needed but I was given the option of a loaner car if my car had to stay over night. Five minutes go by and David called back and told me that they had the part and my car was going to be ready that day. All together it took less than a few hours to get my car done which would of took someone else a day or two and the price was less than what I expected. I have been other places and Hoffman Nissan service has topped every other place I have been. David was courteous, friendly and has amazing people skills. Juan is an amazing and an efficient mechanic. After the excellent service I received I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I give these guys a 5 star rating.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Taking the Stress and Pain out of Car Shopping

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

I have never experienced good quality, professional customer service like I did at Richard Chevrolet. John Chillemi whom I have dealt with in the past when he was with Lee Partyka was by far the best sales associate there hands down. Unfortunately the rest of Lee Partyka has seemed to go down hill on their customer service, but that's for another conversation. I was very happy when I found out that John was at Richard Chevrolet. Not only did John treat me like I was #1, but he treated my father with the same respect as well which means more to me than anything. As for the rest of the staff at Richard Chevrolet they are second to none, and are the example of what shopping for a vehicle should be. John Chillemi is an outstanding sales associate!! I also want to take a minute to recognize Francine Beltempo who was also an outstanding sales associate when I was dealing with her in John's absence. She was very patient, courteous, and professional. She took me a great test drives and proved the vehicles to me that I drove. Everyone from the receptionist to the sales manager were kind, courteous, and professional. Never once did anything negative come out, and they made sure there was no pressure to buy anything that didn't suit you! I heard most everyone say, "If the deal isn't for you then don't do it. It has to be right for YOU." Where as other dealerships want you to test drive, and sign the dotted line. Great Job at Richard Chevrolet. My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. I always owned larger luxury vehicles ... my last car was a Mercedes Benz e320. I wanted to downsize and economize.... The Nissan Altima met almost all of my needs. I opted for the SL model because it had leather interior upgraded sound system and plenty of luxury details that I was used to having. I love driving it, I get great gas mileage, and I have had absolutely no trouble with it so far. It was a good choice!

This past Christmas season, my Mother-in-law, my wife and I were heading out to Ohio from the Boston area to be with my wife's family. I had a 2013 Dodge Dart with roughly 55,000 miles on it, and it appeared to be in great shape, so we decided to take my Dart out to Cleveland for the 12 hour trip. Long story short, we didn't even make it out of Massachusetts, as we broke down on Route 90 at a rest area, the transmission DIED. We were over two hours from home at this point... I called AAA and they towed us to the nearest Chrysler Dealership, Metro. I walked into the service department visibly agitated at the situation, with my less-than-amused wife (who never wanted me to buy the Dart in the first place...) and my Mother-in-law in tow. Orlando greeted us, and offered the waiting room up to my wife and MIL while he and I figured out what we were going to do. Orlando understood my situation, and how my wife was clearly agitated with me -- and he made sure to do everything in his power to keep me out of getting in more trouble!! I got a rental from Enterprise while leaving the car with Orlando and drove out to Cleveland. Orlando called me the next day stating that Chrysler wasn't going to cover rental costs for me, and that the parts for my car were back ordered for at least a month. He instructed me to call Chrysler myself and gave me some ammunition to fight them with. Unfortunately, they wouldn't budge when I called. But, without me even asking him to do so, Orlando saw that the situation was B.S., and fought them for me. He had Chrysler conference in Enterprise and he talked Chysler into covering my initial out of pocket rental costs, and another 10 days of rental. He fought for more than 10 days, but Chrysler wouldn't budge... Knowing I was going to need a better solution than just 10 days, I called and said to Orlando: "You can see my Dart is in perfect shape other than the transmission that's under a recall. What can we do so I never have to see that Dart again?" Enter Marlon. Orlando got me in touch with Marlon, one of the sales guys. I told him my situation, my financials, and all the details. Because I was upside-down on my loan on the Dart, we had very limited options as to getting me into a new vehicle. Even though this is a Chrysler dealership, I think Marlon could tell I didn't want another Chrysler product. He showed me a 2015 Nissan Altima they had on the lot, and it was a perfect fit. He was able to work with the bank to make sure my payments didn't go up at all, and that I was able to get a very nice rate on the loan. Considering that I broke down in an area that I wasn't familiar with, I was at the discretion of the AAA driver as to where the car was going to be taken. I could not be happier that I ended up at Metro. Marlon and Orlando were outstanding.

Just picked up our seventh used car from Imports Unlimited, this time coming up from North Carolina to take delivery. Mike is honest, fair, upfront and easy to do business with. These are salvage cars - he only buys "dry" flood cars - and he has been doing it for over 20 years, so he knows what he is doing. The cars are in perfect condition, fully inspected, warrantied, and offered at a great price. With the previous six cars, over a period of about 15 years, we have never had a single problem. Why pay more?????

The Escalade ESV Platinum edition with only 500 miles was exactly what I was looking for. It was so many thousands below market price, I was really skeptical. After seeing the listing for a couple of weeks, I figured I'd call. The owner Mike came to the phone. He immediately disclosed that it was an insurance, recovered vehicle, and that meant it has no manufacturer's warranty. He also suggested the car was absolutely mint, and I should come see it and his operation. I did. His place looked like any other high-end dealership, a showroom full of "new" luxury cars, a spotless service department, with beautiful staff and all. It was on the main road through the town he grew up in. Mike took the time to show me how he finds insurance loss, recovery vehicles, that are both luxury cars and in like new condition. Oh yes, they are out there. For example, after Sandy, every car parked it JFK long term parking was declared a total loss yet not every car was damaged. He had a field day!!!! Lol. He explained how my Caddy was stolen and recovered, an inside job done by the kid that delivered it to the new owner. He made a key. He took it the second week. Insurance paid, it was recovered, Mike bought it... and I saved like.....$15,000 then!!! Since then I bought two other cars, both perfect, still got'm. After 10 years he offered to take the Caddy for a few days so he could go through it and bring it to like new specks again for cheap. Get the perfect car and save a fortune. I note the negative reviews I see here are only about sales people not working fast enough. Guess what....they are busy, you gotta pick your a*s up and get in there to get your car. Then you'll be leaving stellar reviews instead of "they didn't get back to me and then the car I wanted was gone."

AS an owner of an older Pathfinder we wanted another one. We researched and located several in the area. We chose this one due to the Tom Wood warranty and that it was supposedly a certifed pre-owned. I am pretty sure they fill out the paperwork but don't actually inspect them to the level they represent. There were too many issues that had to be resolved to have been a part of the program. I will say that they have attempted to correct the issues and have been able to correct most of them but I have no confidence at this point. The vehicle overall is great but I worry what else they were supposed to certify that may go wrong before it's time. It has body issues that supposedly should not be there.

I own a 07 GMC sierra 2500hd. Had a problem with climate controls. Have taken it to a GMC dealer in Watertown, Ct, wont say the name. They had my truck for two weeks, did not fix it and wanted to charge $575 . Loehmann-Blasius Chevrolet had my truck for thee days, diagnosed and fixed the problem for much less. This car was bought to get me to work. 100 miles rt each day. Also took it sightseeing throughout southwest. Averaged 34 mpg or more. So great on gas. Enjoyed the sound and comfort. Love the backup camera. Good roomy trunk with fold down back seats. All around solid car.
