2023 RAM 1500 review
Bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited new and owned for 4 years. The starter went out twice under !00,000 miles so replaced 2 starters, had spark plug miss fire that had to get fixed, had exhaust manifold crack making the clicking sound upon startup, gas mileage got bad around 80,000 miles. I loved my truck but was stuck 2 where truck wouldn't start because the starter Ram uses is too small and not enough power for the start/stop and this size of engine. Also, heated seats are not hot at all. Coming from a F150 where the heated seats were incredibly hot which felt great, Ram not so much.

2025 RAM 2500 review
Extremely comfortable for a 6'4" 240 lb. driver, even after hours of driving. Lots of power...good economy for the hp (unless pulling a trailer)...like the upgraded big screen and navigation software on the Big Horn. Good ride for a HD 2500. Great turn radius.

2016 RAM 1500 review
I bought the 1500 Ram with the EcoDiesel engine the second day I had it the engine light came on took it in had exhaust problems had a recall so they fixed it that was.in 2019 since then had other recalls done waited over a year to get the high pressure fuel pump recall done it took almost three day no loaner got it back put about three hundred miles on it local miles one morning got in it it would not start took it back the had it for about three more day then said they found water in the fuel and now I would have to pay 12000 dollars to get the same new fuel pump replaced

2020 RAM 1500 review
I've now had 3 2015 or newer Ram 1500's. I tend to out between 30k to 35k per year on my trucks, and I have had almost no issues with any of my Ram 1500 pickups. The first one and the one I am currently driving both had 5.7 liter Hemis, and the middle one had the 3liter turbo Eco Diesel. The last 2 have been Laramie editions with the first being a Big Horn edition. I have nothing but high marks to give these trucks across the board. Power-great Exterior styling- great Interior (especially the Laramies) - Stellar Reliability - great I think they are easily the best value and best looking trucks on the market.

2022 RAM 1500 review
Purchased a 2022 Laramie, RWD, Hemi 5.7L, Crew Cab with 21,000 miles. Other than no nav system, the truck is pristine. I am the 3rd owner; the other two maintained it beautifully. This V8 gets better city/hwy mileage than my for V6, 4x4, Crew Cab Nissan Frontier. I am most please with this vehicle!

i have a 2020 ram 1500 classic.. 82,000 miles..have the extended warranty and had the transmission replaced. only problem so far. i am 6ft6in tall and love the room in the truck. on the highway i can get 24 mpg. will keep it until it drops. must have lucky.

2018 RAM 1500 review
I bought my 2017 Ecodiesel in April of 2018 at a significant discount from MSRP due to "Dieselgate" with VW and then modified software on these. They were held up for months so that the software could be corrected, so by the time they were available for purchase there was a massive overstock on them. With the complete re-design for the 2019 models, dealers were looking to get these moved out and offered big incentives to do so (up to $20,000 off). There have also been some recalls for a few things, but nothing that has seemed to go wrong on my vehicle, but I took it in to get everything addressed for the recalls. That being said, I haven't had any issues with the truck not working at any time and it is one of the most comfortable riding vehicles I've owned, especially on longer trips. The little diesel engine gets excellent milage on the freeway (about 28 mpg) and about 20 around town. Seats have coolers and heaters, the steering wheel also has a heater, auto start, good lumbar support, a nice sound system, "Millenium Falcon" style ice boxes under the rear passenger floor spots, and a lot of other features that even new trucks don't have. Plus I am not having to "rent" services that came in my truck like a lot of new vehicles force people into. It hauls what I need it to haul, tows what I need it to tow, and drives where I need it to go. Does what a truck should and with comfort to boot.

My family has own multiple ram 1500 2014 and newer all great no problems except for third brake light. Get daily easier to maintain and work on than most gm 2016 and newer more power than f150 love these trucks.

2022 RAM 1500 review
Bought this truck brand new, got the Big Horn with the 5.7L Hemi (which is now extinct) and I cannot say enough on how much this vehicle wowed me. The pickup and power are great, the 4wd auto is very responsive and has been very useful in wet, and off road conditions. We stay in cabins in the mountains and the truck has no issues getting up hard to climb hills and racks terrain. I drive it daily to work and although I have had a few issues with the uconnect, nothing that has required dealership trips. I've had the truck 2 years now and 20000 miles with no problems. The interior is comfortable although I wish I would have sprung for the leather. The large screen is great and the interior design is the best of the big 3 American brands in comparable models. Also the price while too high, was still better than Chevy and most Fords. I'm a Ram guy now. Hopefully it stays this reliable for the price I paid.

2023 RAM 2500 review
I have had other trucks “gas” and BMW’s ! With gas prices soaring and extremely expensive I traded in the gas for the New Turbo Diesel Cummins 6.7 ! On the highway this motor gets 20-21 miles per gallon with a range of 400-450 miles per fill up! Verified with my own eyes! This Ram 2500 gets better gas mileage than any vehicle I have ever owned ! A bit more expensive, but you’re going to make up for it in fuel! Extremely happy with this Truck! Feels powerful , sounds great, comfortable with a lot of options, cameras all around it so you can see everything surrounding you! I haven’t towed anything yet but what I have heard it even gets better with more weight behind it

He explained all the details of the sale and answered all questions I had about the vehicle. The finance manager Elijah worked diligently to find me the best financing deal possible -- and it came with a great interest rate! When it came to signing the many documents, he went over each thoroughly and again, answered any questions I had clearly and quickly. First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2022 RAM 2500 review
We wound up taking our 22 ram 2500 cummins over Sonora Pass due to a computer routing error(no signs either). This was while hauling a 13,000lb. 5th wheel. Tranny got hot pulling up the east side but cooled right back down after 15 minute stop.. Brakes overheated coming down west side but able to get stopped and let them cool for 45 minutes. we made it using 4 low. do not recommend trying this but the truck performed amazingly.... wont buy another brand after this adventure. Sonora Pass is a 26% grade up and down btw
