2024 Honda HR-V review
I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

2023 Buick Encore GX review
I know that here in Northern California, Buick isn't a very popular brand, but that means I was able to get a stunningly good deal on my new '23. I traded up from a low mileage '18 Buick Encore (not GX), and at the time of the transaction, it had a remarkable trade value. My dealer did a outstanding job on pre-sale prep and delivery. My sales rep answered my every question. I enjoyed the prior vehicle, and feel this new one will give me the same kind of driving experience. My added safety feature is the front accident/pedestrian avoidance and lane keep assist. I haven't had to use either yet, but feel good about having them aboard. This Buick strikes me as a hidden gem, full featured but still available at a price point that blows the other comparable Asian built imports out of the water.

2023 Volkswagen Taos review
Our 2022 Taos is almost 2 years old with about 21K mileage. Very satisfied with our car. For the price point (25K) it provides good handling, a comfortable ride and great interior space for a subcompact SUV. The gas mileage is amazing at over 40 MPG on the highway and about 30 MPG tooling around town. Couldn't be happier!

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 review
I must say when I first purchased the vehicle it handled very smoothly now when I took it to get the smoke smell out it drive like the new parts were taken out so I have to take it back to the dealership and get another car and have it inspected. 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer review
Overall this is one of the best Chevrolets I've owned. I change the oil every 5000 miles. I have had two issues with engine related problems, one being Fuel pump driver control module which needed to be replaced after warranty time and the other was the emission canister purge pump replaced under a special coverage. Styling wise I love it. Gas milage is great especially with the gas prices today.

2022 Jeep Compass review
Bought this 2022 Compass Trail Hawk new for my wife. Earlier this year (2025) we landed a sweetheart deal on a new 2024 Wrangler Sport S. Guess who inherited the Compass ? I stepped down from a Grand Cherokee but I have no regrets. It has had a few electrical teething issues but all have been resolved and have not come back. The handling and fuel economy are much better than the Grand Cherokee. There are only 2 downsides..........the size of the gas tank (13.5 gal vs 24.5) and the cargo space behind the 2nd row seats. I have easily adapted to both ! I want to give a shout-out to our local dealership, Tri-City CDJR. Start to finish, an excellent place to purchase and maintain our Jeeps. BRAVO ZULU !

This will make our twelfth Honda purchase since moving in the area, all from Joyce Honda. Always top notch service provided. This time for sales we used Joe San Roman. Joe always provides 5 star service and is always goes above and beyond to make a deal happen. We have used Joe in the past, And is always a pleasure to work with (Great job Joe). For finance we used two people who were also amazing to work with. They allowed us to make a smooth transition right through the whole purchasing process. First up Matt Stark provided top notch service, and went above and beyond and treated us like family throughout the whole purchasing process (Great Job Matt). Next up the finisher Steve Owusu. Steve also went above and beyond to make purchasing both vehicles smooth as can be. He kept us aware of all options, And also was there via phone whenever needed for questions about anything involved in the whole purchase (Great Job Steve). 2024 Mazda CX-30 review
I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

The salesman, Johnny Brown, was very personable. He didn't pressure us to do anything which was refreshing. The dealership, however, added approximately $4,000 to the price for miscellaneous fees (not including tax) which if very high in my opinion. We were able to come to an agreement, but feel we maybe should have paid a little less. The care needed a small touchup in two places and an A was missing from elantra . Still waiting for the "a" to arrive as well as touch-up paint.
2023 Mazda CX-30 review
So far so amazing. After this car, I'm very positive I will buy the same model. By the way, I don't know when it's going to happen since I feel like this car would stay healthy forever. Cargo room seems like the only part missing but getting a compact SUV like this? It was expected.

The only thing is there is a space between the seat back and the seat, if you put something small on the passenger seat it can slice and end up on the floor of the back seat.

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
Bought a brand new 2023 Mazda CX 30 and really like the safety features that are standard features in this car. As an empty nester and retiree, the lane keep assist and lane warning are a welcome feature in this car. The lane warning and assist has an pleasant chime warning sound and the steering wheel vibrate warning the driver that he/she is deviating from the lane. With a little nudge of the steering wheel by the system get you back in your lane. Blind spot monitoring is also a great safety feature to let the driver know that a nearby car is on the nest lane, caution is suggested when changing lane. Cross traffic alert is also great, and it can even detect a person approaching the back side of your car when on reverse, of course it also detects a car approaching when reversing. The interior fit and finish is excellent, it makes the car feel and look like a luxury car without the price of a luxury car. This car is brand new, so I am still in the process of learning about the car. IMO, if you want to experience how the Mazda CX 30 is, get a test drive. You may like it or love it like I do. Upon arriving to collect the car, Edwin professionally too me through the paperwork, dominated all the features of the car, and sent me on my way with helpful directions to get out of the city.
2024 Mazda CX-30 review
The turbo is remarkable feat of engineering. 227 HP from regular unleaded and torque that leaps right from the get-go, maxing out by 2500 rpm. 29 MPG on a trip with 2 hours of highway and 1.5 of city stop & go. Add 93 Octane and you get 240 HP and change. Very responsive steering and suspension. The Premium Plus will spoil you rotten. THAT SAID ... the gas tank is tragically under-sized. Good luck getting to 300 miles even on a well-behaved week of driving. Though 2 gallons remain when the panic lights up on the dashboard, you won't know how much you've used of it thanks to zero=2 gal on the gauge. Also, at 1 of those is just used to keep the fuel pump cooled. We've wrestled for months now over whether it's even safe to drive around these parts with a measly 275 mile range.

2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer review
Certainly enough power and comfort. Very roomy front and comfortable for passengers. The reviews call it sluggish and, it is not that during everyday use. I was shocked how well it drives after reading reviews. I got a great looking white 2024 RS in perfect shape with 9.000 miles on it. Much much better than expected meets ALL of my needs and, expectations.

2023 Jeep Compass review
My wife and I bought a 23' Jeep Compass Limited with 15K miles. We were looking for something small but also a vehicle that could offer 4x4. My initial impression of it at the dealership was that it has an awesome exterior paint color (granite crystal) and black wheels to compliment it. The car drives great on the highway and city. It's a very comfortable ride and the car can turn on a dime! I am currently averaging 30 mpg while commuting to work each day. I have noticed the car will sometimes have difficulty up shifting. As long as I apply more gas it eventually gets over it. Not a big deal for me as my last vehicle would do the same thing. The rear view camera is nice on the Compass, however it is completely useless at night. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

2025 Chevrolet Trax review
I change cars every three years. Mt wife has a 2024 LS and every time i had to drive it i was amazed at what a great car this is. Anyway, i got into an accident and had to replace m car. Having researched just about everything out there when i bought her car i just bought a 2025 Trax Activ. I really love this car. It is really the perfect vehicle. It handles really well, it’s very comfortable, gas consumption is amazing. I only use top tier gas. I had to wait for the dealer to find one without a sun roof. The gps is flawless. I can find nothing about this car that I dislike. I wish it had a trunk release but not a major issue, you really should drive it as you will understand the feel of the operation. As far as the engine, i don’t understand the negative comments. It has ample power. It isn’t a hot rod but i have never had a problem with it feeling underpowered. I do mostly highway driving, set at 69-70 and never any hesitation, oh, the adaptable cruise control is a must have. It takes so much of the stress of highway driving away. I could go on bit i simply say TEST DRIVE ONE. You wil fully appreciate what surrounds you. It’s the only way to understand what GM did.

2018 Toyota C-HR review
I drove a 2018 RAV 4 for one year before trading it in for the CHR. I really liked the RAV4, but it always felt just a little too big for me. I like smaller cars even though I am almost 6 foot tall! I should have driven the CHR before purchasing the RAV4 - I looked at it initially and thought it would not be roomy enough for me, boy was I wrong :) I am so in love with my CHR and plan on keeping it until I have to drive it like Fred Flintstone with my feet !!!LOL Thanks Toyota for making such a fun car to drive. - Can't say enough good things about it.

2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer review
I picked up the RS and I love it overall. There are just a few things I find annoying. First is there is no rear door exterior lock button like on my 2017 Cruze, it’s annoying to have to go to the front door and then to the rear door if I’m wanting to grab something. Second is the radio, my 2017 had 10 programmable stations and this only has 5, not to mention it seems to take forever to load the audio for sxm while it is instant on my older car. Third is the trunk wheel well, you are not even provided with a donut spare. I wanted to get a full size spare but the storage spot is too small and only a donut will fit. Fourth is how petty and cheap Chevrolet seems to have become, my owners manual is in a plastic ziplock bag, xxx is that? What happened to getting an organizer case to hold the manual and registration/insurance? I find that part to be pretty pathetic.

CarMax Dulles review
This was the first time that I've used CarMax... always felt that the "no-haggle" thing was just a grift. It's not. Very fairly priced car in pristine condition. They even transferred it for free. Transaction was relatively quick and painless as well. They were even able to take care of the REAL tags and title there as well. If you do your pricing research, they are most definitely an option. And thankfully there was no sleazy salesman vibe or upwelling. Would gladly use them again. Oh, and they actually FILLED the tank, which USED TO BE commonplace, and I didn't have to ask.
2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class review
Got my 2015 gla in 2016. Drove it from NJ to DC every week even in the middle of a blizzard.. I feel like it has a more agile power steering. It can fit it anywhere. The ride is smooth and quiet. It’s now 2025, what do you think? I got the mountain grey color. It still shines like new!
