This is our fourth 4Runner since 1996. 4Runners are a supper reliable SUV. Each of our 4Runners had over 250,000 miles with no issues. I would recommend a Toyota 4Runner as primary vehicle. They are stylish, reliable, economical to own and operate.

2018 Toyota 4Runner review
Typical reliable Toyota vehicle. The only problem I encounter is the braking system. of my last 4 suv's, 2 of them being 4runners, I have always got 100,000 miles out of my front pads. I'm on my second set on my 2018 with only 50,000 miles. I think the calibers on the newer models are defective actually. They just don't feel right.

2016 Toyota 4Runner review
I owned a Nissan Pathfinder and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. I reviewed,looked over and test drove the 4Runner. Honestly and truly,I fell in love with the feature's,capabilities,the mileage capabilities because I have learned to tweak the computer a little. After 6 year's in Dec.,it looks almost as good as it did the day I bought it! I am very cognizant of the care my vehicle gets,and when the Dealer kept disregarding my complaint's about oily finger print's and oily body print's on my 4Runner,I fired them because of this,and the LIE THEY TOLD ME,saying that they no longer use Fender Cover's like they did when I bought it from them BRAND NEW! I FIRED THEM! Dealer prices are already in the Cloud's and with that price,I expect excellence at every level of service to my vehicle. I did have a Ceramic Coating applied when it was Brand New,and the shine is still so brilliant that I still get a Ton of Compliment's and stares from other SR5 4Runner owner's. The paint color is Midnight Blue Metallic. Thats a very pleasing feeling also knowing that I can pull up next to a little car,and he can see every detail of his vehicle and even the face of his passenger in the paint! This page is not long enough to say how much I am still enamored with this vehicle. It still has only 54000 miles on it and not even broken in! My wife drives this vehicle and she is a small gal. She said it fits her great and rides very smooth. Gas mileage isnt the best but she doesnt drive it everyday so its not a big deal for us .

2024 Toyota 4Runner review
Traded 2023 Highlander Ltmd AWD for 2024 4 runner because it was sadly disappointing. Chose 2024 4runner before they ruin it with the 2.4L turbo & electric motors the 2025 is suppose to get. Have a 2022 4runner we love so why not have another as our second vehicle. Both are TRD Off Road models and seem to go just about anywhere you dare with surprising results Everytime ! Good visibility,great comfort, enough room and safe & reliable.

2021 Toyota 4Runner review
One of the last SUV’s with a real 4x4 and towing capacity. The engine and transmission lasts longer than anything similar. Not the greatest mpg but this is greatly off set by reliability and longevity.

2022 Toyota 4Runner review
Amazing build quality…you can feel it in everything. The last of its kind. Buy one while they’re still around. Don’t buy if you’re concerned about fuel mileage. Trade off is drive it easily 20 yrs without replacing hybrid battery packs and CVT transmissions. Old school bulletproof reliability and quality.

2018 Toyota 4Runner review
Love my 4Runner but the only thing wrong with it is the KDSS problems that no one knows how to fix. Light comes on in the winter and starts leaking. Dealer replaced it once and they paid the $4, 000.00 because it was the first time that they had seen this. Now it almost winter and the lights coming back on.

2023 Toyota 4Runner review
Great looking, fun to drive 4x4, super reliable, leather interior but strong enough for 2 dogs and 2 kids. Goes anywhere. Roof rack easy to use. HAs all the electronic helper (BSM, cross traffic alert, lane keeping, adaptive cruise). The downside is the gas milage. 16.5 to 18 mpg depending on time of year & type of gas (summer vs winter gas). No service issues in 45,000 miles but they did some fuel pump recall when I was in for an oil change

2017 Toyota 4Runner review
I love everything about my 2017 TRD PRO Cement Gray 4Runner "except" the ENTUNE system. The Quick Text message system only works 1 out of 20 times. Not very useful when hands free safety is concerned. Dealer R&Red the Entune system, however replacement Entune has same problem. Not happy as this adds to the danger of handling a phone instead of using the Entune Quick Text while driving. The Entune system Quick Text didn't work with either of my new Samsung or Moto Android phones even after I changed phone carriers. Also the right side touch screen buttons on the original Entune system failed as well. Very disappointed Toyota. This was my second 4runner purchase. Other than the Entune system, a perfect vehicle IMO.
