2023 Toyota GR86 review
Current owner of a 2023 Premium MT, first standard transmission car and first sports car. Came with the GR Exhaust Package. Almost 2,000 miles on the car, mostly town driving besides roughly 800 miles traveling back and forth for the holidays. I am a younger buyer, and I've been told by who knows how many people how inconvenient a sports car is to own, especially as your only car. This car has defied every expectation of that. I was able to load the back with a bunch of luggage and boxes, it more than carries everything I need. I am more comfortable in this stiff, low, budget sports car than i am in my old 2012 Lexus RX350. The seats in the premium are unreal. My town has really rough roads meant for pickups, so for this car to remain comfortable is really something. In terms of performance, it is always so much fun to drive, even if its just to the grocery. They could have gone further with the motor, but its a minor complaint. The steering is effortless but so precise. Every issue i have is a minor nitpick. The opening for the trunk is a little too small, the cupholder placement is annoying, and you cant access other vehicle information on the gauge cluster while in track mode. The only major issue (minor for a sports car) is the MPG. I currently have 23.5 and dropping. I have no idea how the reviewer got 29mpg out of this car. But again, sports car, not a Prius. Its not what its supposed to do. Possibly the best car on sale today when you consider its value. Puts a Miata to shame with practicality, performance, handling, and even shifter and experience (aside from the convertible option).

2023 Toyota GR86 review
As a bachelor who seldom carries passengers or cargo, I found myself increasingly interested in a sort of "lifestyle" car that would make my daily commute more interesting. While the 2023 GR86 really comes alive when you want to drive it like a felon with a warrant, I also love it equally as much for its ability to putter around town undisturbed. The 2.4 liter FA24 engine is zippy enough for darting through any and all traffic, plus the lightweight chassis makes me think I'm in a psuedo-Mazda Miata coupe [albeit with gobs more storage space on the inside.] I love this super quick and telepathic steering feel, too. Being 5' 6", I don't think I could ask for any more car than this. The interior has good cupholders, a glovebox big enough for a Bible, and 360° visibility. The seats themselves are supportive, snug, and easy for ingress/egress, while the bolsters aren't hyper-aggressive like the Honda Civic Type R so you won't destroy them if you're driving the car 7 days a week. At the end of the day, who has the disposable income to plunk down $75,000+ on a Porsche 718 Cayman or a Lotus Evora? Thankfully for us mere mortals who weren't born with a silver spoon in our mouths, we can take home a $30,000 GR86 and have a pure, connected, rear-wheel-drive driving experience for less than half the cost.

I worked with Cody N and Tiana. The dropdown menu won't let me choose them, however it is important to note as I think they are quite the dream team. From choosing which tires to purchase, until the time I left the door; my service was exceptional. It was truly a personalized experience. Once I turned my keys over, I was brought to a cozy and clean area to wait for my vehicle. There was plenty of places to sit, along with WIFI and power outlets. The team also provides a shuttle for local travel so you don't have to miss out on errands, or if you would rather wait at home. My truck was returned to me all washed up, and in excellent condition.

2023 Toyota GR86 review
This is my 2nd Toyota 86 with my last one being a 2017 GT86. The new and totally improved 23GR86 is far beyond what I thought this car would ever be. This car is amazing for the price and if you truly love the feel of a sports car this is the one to buy! When searching, I knew that the FA motor was a good one but def had it's weaknesses that needed attn asap! I drove my car the way it was supposed to bbe driven and put 130k miles on it before trading it in on the new 2023. I had zero issues but also over service assuring that I ALWAYS had the best fluids in my car. I never even replaced my clutch just tires. The new 2023 GR86 is so much nicer then I expected it to be, it's an enthusiast car and now with the 2.4 mototr it has more then enough power to push you through the tightest of corners. It hadles like a dream and while it has a stiffer suspension then most like, you'll def appreciate when hitting the back roads with twists and turns. I drove the Supra to compare and disliked it in so many ways and all it is is a BMW. I'm 6'0 tall with long legs and have all kinds of room to stretch out. My shoulders are wide and fit perfect, it's not lacking in comfort at all with this year having heated seats in the premium. The headlights are badass and follow you around ever corner. The only thing I'm missing is fog lamps and there is no where to mount them. There is also no kits to install a aftermarket stereo and that really sucks. I have $7k in stereo and need a mount or it won't work. Other then that, if your on the fence, go test ride it! I have the manual 6 speed and it is amazing! The automatic has the paddle shifters and they work well but being such a sports car enthusiast, I only purchase manual cars. They start at under $29k and go up to $25k for a fully loaded automatic. I can promise you that it is worth every penny and the test ride will lock you in. DO NOT PAY OVER MSRP, there is dealers out there that aren't being greedy. Also PPF the whole front of the car or you'll have chips everywhere. It is the best investment and will make your car look amazing if done right.

We were in no mood or space to buy a car this past weekend, but life had other plans when our Kia started kicking the bucket. We had to find something fast, and within our budget, but also wanted something that we actually WANTED: AWD, sizeable, newer, clean and well maintained. And because we're currently in the process of trying to buy a house, we had a lot of financial needs: in a budget, paying cash, etc. I was already stressed when I walked into Groove Toyota, and anticipating a downhill morning. Enter Mr. Byron Fludd. This man! From the second he introduced himself I started feeling better. Kind, understanding, funny, and he actually LISTENED when we told him all of our needs. The car we saw online was already sold. Byron found us something better for less cost, the size and age and mileage we were hoping for and made the entire process so unbelievably painless. We arrived at 10am and were out of there by 12:30ish? And I think the only reason it took that long is because Byron made sure the new whip was extra-detailed, and also printed us a copy of the CarFax so we had it. I could not be more grateful for our new (used) GMC Acadia, and I can't thank Groove Toyota and sweet Byron enough for taking SUCH good care of us. My husband said multiple times this past weekend that we'll be buying our next car with Byron and Groove Toyota, no question. Every car buying experience for me before this past weekend had been full of pressure, price hikes, and undue stress. Our experience last Saturday changed all that.
