2023 Toyota Highlander review
We own a 2.4 Turbo XSE, has plenty of power to get you in and out of traffic. Just took a 10 hour road trip from NC through the mountains of VA & WV, performed like a champ up steep inclines and ride was very comfortable. We really like the captain chairs, easy to get passengers (inlaws) in and out. Had plenty of room for a wheelchair with 3rd row folded down. Really like the sporty look of Highlander. The 20" black rims compliment the look for me. I wish Toyota would've designed with dual exhaust to better enhance the design.

It was ok. It was fast and expeditious. However, it would tv been better if I would have left with feeling heard and acknowledged. The vehicle was already priced well. I was satisfied and had already made up mind to purchase it- however I still hv 2 more vehicles to purchase and even perhaps a 3rd one but am uncertain if I will return. I asked for a price reduction- something would hv been nice? even if it was a ?lie? that the sales person got up to ask a higher up but he said no right away?I already knew it was priced well? however a psychological feeling of being heard and a taken my request seriyenough to take the energy to stand up and inquire - even it was for an apprareamce only ? would hv left me with a better feel than my request was very quickly shut down - especially me being a female... $50 off would hv left me heard and acknowledge ? but oh well?.

2018 Toyota Highlander review
This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!

2023 Toyota Highlander review
Have had 2 Toyota Rav Limiteds and they were great. Decided to go with something a little bigger this time so got a preowned 2023 Highlander Limited. Love the ride, quieter than the Rav 4 and definitely more room. It’s only 3 inches wider, but 10 inches longer. Seems like the front area is quite a bit bigger than the Rav. Great purchase!

I’ve had no problems with my Highlander since I had it. I just keep up the maintenance and it drives as smooth as it did when I first got it. The other thing I like about it is the roomy comfort it gives and that it’s heavy enough to handle the road. It huges the road in curves so good. I am truly satisfied with my Highlander.

My 2021 highlander L I paid $27k @ 44k miles ih for it after 2 years taking it through ell & adding 50k miles (92k miles currently) im impressed by its 300 hp 3.4L engine but learned how important changing all fluild begor it starts to making noise and problems. I think as long as you change all fluids at by or before 90 k miles as milage it will continue to goFor 300,000 miles crossed finger . The dealer offered me 19k to trade in at this stage. Toyota value unmatched. I want the new twin turbo 3.5 they just added

2022 Toyota Highlander review
We have the 2022 Limited edition. Love the heated and cooled leather seats, very comfortable. Overall vehicle is very quiet, except on concrete roadway surfaces. The rain sensing wipers don't function as well as the ones we had on our 2019 Rav4. I will say, the 3rd row seats are for young kids or very small flexible adults. Also, front doors need more of an arm rest higher up on the doors. The tri zone heat and cooling is great. I like how the adaptive cruise will even slow you down some when entering curves. The 11 speaker JBL sound system is very good. Overall, the negatives listed are fairly minor issues, because we really enjoy this vehicle and the features. I am disappointed that Toyota will not be offering the v-6 in 2023. I much prefer the smoothness and power and torque curve of the 6 versus the turbo 4. The 8 speed transmission is butter smooth, although the kickdown response could be improved. This is our 4th Toyota and will keep coming back because of the higher quality standards and overall reliability. Also, Toyota seems to listen to customers better and making adjustments or corrections better than a lot of the other auto makers.

Zero problems in 8 years ownership. Very comfortable. Still looks brand new. My next car will definitely be another Highlander, perhaps a 2025 Highlander Hybrid.

Worked with Alonso C. in the used car area. Had previously researched the vehicle I wanted (2018 Chrysler Pacifica) and he made the process easy, non-confrontational, and easy. The title guy and I didn't get off on the right foot, but that's probably I intentionally put in a pause to the buying process and had to leave to get my financing from my credit union. Overall I would buy again from this dealership, and Alonso specifically.
2017 Toyota Highlander review
I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

This is a great place. I personally recommend working with Kelly in sales and Malcolm in finance. Blake in finance is also good but new to the finance department so Malcolm would be your best option. I left a very negative review after I felt like I had been completely taken advantage of by them on Saturday and was on the hook for a loan worth twice what the car was worth brand new. They completely took care of me and I got into a different car that was the same make and model but cheaper. My deal went from 34,000 total to 20,000 total after reworking it. I will say they want to add lots of stuff into the deal. It isn't necessarily bad but it adds up and I was unwilling to accept that. They will try to keep all or some of it on and if you don't want it then fight for the price you want and read the website to know their policies and guarantees. I will also leave this as a disclaimer, I would be selective about what salesperson you work with. My Mom overheard one of the guys complaining about how he was one sale away from a bonus and some lady wasted two hours of his time and backed it because she was incompetent. I saw the lady he was talking about and she was older and said very clearly she had someone waiting on her for some time now and could not stay longer. I also briefly worked with some other guy in the finance department who was pretty rude and I didn't enjoy that. I don't remember his name though. Kelly is a genuine person and a great saleswoman. You can trust her. It seems like some of the staff are a little more money focused and trying to help themselves more than the customer so beware. I also want to point out one of the managers introduced himself to me and was very kind. Also very apologetic over how things went the first day and I really appreciated it. Good place and some really good people. I had some mixed feelings with this experience but the likes of Malcolm, Kelly, and Blake and how they handled making things right with me overwhelmingly changed my overall experience to a positive--hence the 5 star review. Overall very good and reliable vehicle for the money. Not the most comfortable, stylish, or best on fuel but for the price i dont think you can find better

Carmax has a wide variety of used cars to check out if you are not sure what you want. We found a 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport with less than 8000 miles. Very nice vehicle that is roomy with lots of cool options. My sales agent was very nice, no pressure and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes to sign the paperwork. I would buy from Carmax again!
2019 Toyota Highlander review
I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

It has a lot of road noise and the low profile tires makes feel like you're running on flats you feel everything I'm not happy at all it's nothing like my 2015 highlander no compassion at all!
