Overall, very professional, progressed as a sale should, and they followed through on the details. Car arrived very clean, everything was included as expected. Transport service ran into some issues but they kept me in the loop and went out of their way to get the vehicle to us as quickly as they could (arrived at midnight and the driver still had 1 more stop to make, he was a nice as could be, and had no complaints - that is dedication). We are 180 miles away and Lexus of Naperville will be our new "go to" for Lexus vehicles. Closer dealers are not as transparent, and seem to be in the habit of wasting your time. It is hard to find a dealer that simply wants to sell a vehicle without playing any games. Lexus of Naperville is where you should go - ask for "Brendon" and "AP", they did a nice job. I didn't get a chance to work with her much, but Yvette was also very nice. Zach Paino from "Ship your car safely" was my contact for the transport.

2023 Toyota Highlander review
I waited months, purposely, before writing this review. When I initially bought the car, I was scared because the reviews made it seem as if I made the worst mistake of my life. 6 months, 7000 miles later, the car running great. In the beginning, there was the weird shifting and lag but as time went on, around 5000 miles it had mostly smoothed out. After I took it for the TSB/Recall for a software update, it has been running perfectly since, no lag or strange shifting at all. I haven’t had any trouble otherwise. It’s roomy and comfortable for long trips. The third row is really for short trips(no more than 1hr 1/2) and for people 5’8 and under. The MPG excels on the highway especially on ECO mode with cruise control. I’ve gotten it as high as 33/34 mpg at 70mph on relatively flat land. In the city, it does terrible. I average around 17-19 even with slowly accelerations. My DTE is 290-310miles, 95% City driving. I’m sure those who use it on the highway will reach much higher. Despite the new 4 Cylinder Turbo, it has quite a bit of power and was able to take off very fast with a car loaded with adults (even in the third row). As of right now, the engine has been nothing but reliable. If anything changes, I’ll surely come back and edit this review. But for now, this 23 Highlander Limited Non-Hybrid, is a fantastic mid-size SUV and I recommend it now with the software update taking care of the shifting problem.

2017 Toyota Highlander review
I’ve had no problems with my Highlander since I had it. I just keep up the maintenance and it drives as smooth as it did when I first got it. The other thing I like about it is the roomy comfort it gives and that it’s heavy enough to handle the road. It huges the road in curves so good. I am truly satisfied with my Highlander.

2021 Toyota Highlander review
My 2021 highlander L I paid $27k @ 44k miles ih for it after 2 years taking it through ell & adding 50k miles (92k miles currently) im impressed by its 300 hp 3.4L engine but learned how important changing all fluild begor it starts to making noise and problems. I think as long as you change all fluids at by or before 90 k miles as milage it will continue to goFor 300,000 miles crossed finger . The dealer offered me 19k to trade in at this stage. Toyota value unmatched. I want the new twin turbo 3.5 they just added

2023 Toyota Highlander review
We own a 2.4 Turbo XSE, has plenty of power to get you in and out of traffic. Just took a 10 hour road trip from NC through the mountains of VA & WV, performed like a champ up steep inclines and ride was very comfortable. We really like the captain chairs, easy to get passengers (inlaws) in and out. Had plenty of room for a wheelchair with 3rd row folded down. Really like the sporty look of Highlander. The 20" black rims compliment the look for me. I wish Toyota would've designed with dual exhaust to better enhance the design.

2021 Toyota Highlander review
We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. 2015 Toyota Highlander review
2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

2018 Toyota Highlander review
The transmission failed at 112,000 miles and it costs me $8500 to repair. I expect Toyota Highlander transmission would last at least 200,000 miles but I found out that the transmission is not made in Japan like my old Highlander, but it was made in the USA. People who buy Toyota expect major components such as engine, transmission, are made in Japan with zero defects, but when major components are made in the USA, quality suffers.

2017 Toyota Highlander review
I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. We purchased a 2002 Toyota Avalon from College Cars Chicago on 6/10/2020 after our other 2002 Toyota Avalon was totaled. Exact year, make, and model both cars were well maintained and taken care of. We were planning on driving the car we had for many more years until the accident. I got on the internet the very next day and more or less stumbled on finding one we purchased from Zack that was in excellent condition. Unfortunately, things can go wrong with any car even if they are well maintained. We experienced the airbag light would not go out and it was determined that the SRS computer had to be replaced. This was not like replacing a lightbulb. Zack stood behind College Cars 30 day 1000 mile warranty and worked with myself and the dealer making the repair as painless as possible. Very professional and customer-oriented. Would definitely return if and when we needed or wanted another vehicle. Also will highly recommend to anyone. We live in Indiana but it was well worth the approximate two-hour drive. Thanks again Zack!

I have had this car since 2013. I have a feeling it is going to last me a long time. The only thing I don't like about it is the spare being underneath the car where I cannot get to it to check the air or put air in it. I would rather have the spare inside somewhere.

A cars.com search gave us plenty of options if we wanted to go a little farther outside our area. So I did the research & came up with a list of 7 dealers to shop from. My 1st stop was at Ultimate Rides in Morris, IL. As it turned out it was our last stop as well. We got a great deal on an 08 Pontiac G6 (about 2 grand less than we found closer to home). 2020 Toyota Highlander review
Overall a good reliable 3-row SUV, with a comfortable ride, decent trip mileage, and good acceleration (good power train. Negatives are a poorly designed A/C condensor (Rocks kicked up will punture it releasing all the coolant) and very high wind noise at freeway speeds (hard to talk, radio has to be turned up very high).

2012 Toyota Highlander review
Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

2018 Toyota Highlander review
Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

The 24 test drive experience was good. The person who helped us (Spencer I think) was very helpful. Non pushy sales made it easy to talk to everyone I met with Ultimately, the car smelled like cigarette smoke deeply and wasn’t for us. I do wish that would have been mentioned to us before driving
2022 Toyota Highlander review

This review is about their buying process, not their sales. (I live >100 miles away, so I've never had to come this far to buy a car.) After my Ford Fusion Energi PHEV came off lease, I bought it out and resold it to CarMax. Their online assessment process was fair and painless, and they offered me a pretty good price for me car. But that was an estimate, not an offer. I drove my car all the way here expecting to be haggled to death and get a reduced offer, but--it didn't happen. They examined the car and paid me the original offered amount with no dickering at all. It was a pleasant surprise. Fast-forward to today; now I've got a nice Ford Escape PHEV. They gave a nice estimate when I checked online, so I bought out my lease and I need to get the car over here to sell it to them. I'm hoping history will repeat itself.
2018 Toyota Highlander review
This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!
