2024 Nissan Frontier review
I bought my 2024 Nissan Frontier SV 4X4 in March of 2025. It had 63 miles on it, was sold as a used pickup, but basically brand new, and I got a VERY GOOD deal on the purchase from my local Nissan dealer. Back in the day, I bought a new Frontier in 2007 and it was an exceptional pickup but the 2024 is even better! The styling and the fit and finish is excellent, inside and out. Love the V6 and the 9-speed automatic, very smooth and quiet. The mileage is 2-3 mpg better than the 2007, 18 around town and 23 on the highway. Very comfortable on a long trip. I am very pleased that this pickup has a greatly improved the turning radius over the '07 - good for you, Nissan. It handles great off-road. I have nothing negative to say about my Frontier!! Love it!!!

2022 Hyundai SANTA CRUZ review
Purchased a used 2022 Santa Cruz with 25,000 miles. So far it’s the best vehicle I’ve owned. For starters, it’s a beautiful looking vehicle. I live in a rural country area and folks have approached me giving compliments and asking about the truck. It does stand out as a unique “truck” since they haven’t been out for very long. The interior on the premium SEL package is luxurious. Worth the extra money for the sun roof and heated seats. Seats are way more comfortable than the Elantra which I traded in. Performance is impressive. The Sel premium comes with the 2.5 turbo which is more power than I really need but I love the extra umph when getting onto the highway. The AWD is perfect for New England weather. I think the blind spots were worse in the Elantra compared to the Santa Cruz which was surprising. Great safety features, comfortable ride. Has everything I need in a small truck. The Tonnaeu cover in the back looks sexy and is worth spending extra to get the premium package. I can’t wait to add more accessories to my little truck. If you have the money i recommend checking out the Limited or XRT package. Nothing negative to report so far.

2023 Jeep Gladiator review
MOST importantly it is a JEEP. If you want a luxury vehicle, buy one, if you want a full-size truck, buy one, if you want a sports car, buy one, the Jeep Gladiator is none of these. It is designed to be a mid-sized pick-up yet still be a Jeep, it does this PERFECTLY. I have owned 9 Jeeps over the years, as early as 1978 up through 2006; the Jeeps today are full of more amenities and comfort than they ever have been in history. I have 2 Gladiators; a '23 Mojave, and a '23 Diesel Overland, both of them are INCREDIBLE vehicles on and off road, and MORE than fit the bill for a light duty pick-up, superseding most others on the market, and I am even comparing to any of the 5 Tacoma's I have owned. If you are in the market for a light duty pick-up, you can't beat it; whether it is a loaded up graded model, or even the base model, it is still a truck with 4WD, straight axles, and still available with a manual transmission. VERY happy with both of mine!

2021 Jeep Gladiator review
I have a jeep gladiator mojave, 2021, great vehicle , the best i have ever owned, great for offroading and the suspension is great, designed for higher speed offroading and it does a great jjob at this and just regular off roading. also fun just to drive around town. Highly recommend this vehicle, i also love the xtras, led lights, safety features, (blind spot and ADC, etc), aux swithes . This just a great vehicle.

2024 Ford Maverick review
Only has had one glitch, the passenger window switch died after about a month, but that's what the warranty is for, and they fixed it. The hybrid is rated at 38 mpg I think, but I'm getting closer to 48, I log my mileage, so that's a reliable number. Front wheel drive so you don't have the light rear end traction issues. Feels and drives more like a car, but when you want to load stuff the bed is there. Unless you want a big heavy duty truck, which it isn't, there's nothing not to love about it.

2024 Ford Maverick review
My 2024 Maverick Lariat has the FX4 Off Road Package and the 4K Towing Package. It is one year old today and has 2,700 miles on it. It has been flawless without even a single rattle or annoyance. The Off Road package is very capable and it made 13 off road adventures to the ocean beaches this past summer.

2023 Jeep Gladiator review
Ecodiesel gladiator is fun to drive and getting good MPG. My second gladiator and no issues. Jeeps aren't for everyone as they are boxy, heavy, noisy in cab at high speeds and not as luxurious as a Lexus. But these things are tanks with body on frame build, Dana 44 axles, real transfer case and mega offroad capability. Plus its easy to modify suspension and its a "jeep thing".

2025 Ford Maverick review
I currently have a 2025 Ford Maverick truck that I purchased brand new off the lot in June 2025. It currently has 1735.0 miles on it, to date this truck has been an excellent vehicle in every respect. I am very pleased with the gas mileage I'm getting both in town and on the freeway. 23 city/ 34 hwy. IT does ride like a truck, because after all that's what it is. It handles very good both in town and on the highway. It's very roomy inside, for just the wife and myself. I am somewhat disappointed in the paint job, as it seems to get scratched and smudged pretty easy. Have to look it over every couple of days. I would gladly recommend the Maverick truck to anyone looking for a smaller truck, not want to tow or haul large loads. It has become my daily driver, and I'm able to leave my 2025 Nissan Pathfinder parked more or for longer road trips where the comfort is more desired. David Kiel

2011 Ford Ranger review
I've bought a used 2011 ranger in 2019. Its never failed to start and get me to where I needed to go. Only getting rid of it as my needs have changed. One negative is the regular cab space can be tight if you going on a longer trip.

2013 Toyota Tacoma review
Truck was a champ. Mileage slightly less than advertised but still decent. Felt like sitting in a lifted car but was smooth on oilfield goat trails and held up real well saving gas compared to other full-size trucks. I think the fake hood scoop was xxxxxxxx but otherwise a great truck. 4x4 in mud snow and icy roads was excellent. Real reliable truck.

2022 Ford Maverick review
I own the 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid and so far with roughly 28,000 miles on it I love it. Cannot believe the gas mileage that I get. From April thru Nov I am in the upper 40's to low 50's. That is driving in the cities and highways between the cities. Any long travels on the expressway and my mileage drops to the mid to low 30's. When I purchesed it in 2022 I stayed with the standard XLT interior and I do not regred not upgrading it. It is comfortable for a vehicle and it is quiet. I have easily gotten 4 golf bags in the truck bed and 4 golfers in the cab with one of those golfers standing at 6 foot 8 inches. I've also been able to get 2 10 foot kayaks in the bed with no problem. Yes, they extended beyond the tailgate but had no problems. So far I rank my purchase of my 2022 SLT Ford Maverick Hybrid as one of the top two vehicles I've purchased in my life time, and I will be 74 in 2025.

2009 Toyota Tacoma review
This Tacoma X-Runner meets all my needs. Fairly easy to park compared to full size Trucks. Good performance but needs several upgrades to meet Today's standards. Like: Cold-Air Intake, Headers. Better Brakes Upgrades, 1" Lowered Suspension, TRD Quick Shifter, Energy Suspension Sway Bar Bushings - (front and rear), Wider Wheels & Tires, URD"s Mas Air Calibrator( for better air/fuel ratio), Leather Seat Covers. After that you have a Great Truck. This is the Upgrades I have done and really have a better all around Toyota Tacoma X-Runner.

Purchasing our new 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited from Napleton Valley Hyundai in Aurora was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. Even though the dealership is over an hour from our home, there is no question that this will be the first place we visit for our next vehicle purchase. Our appointment was scheduled just an hour before closing on a Saturday, and from the moment we walked in, our salesperson, Jordan Kabranov, made us feel welcome. Jordan was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Although they didn't have the exact color we wanted in stock, Jordan and General Manager Mike P. McKenna immediately went to work locating the perfect vehicle through a dealer trade. Jordan and Mike treated us with fairness and respect throughout the negotiation process and helped us arrive at a price that everyone felt comfortable with. Afterward, we met with Deb (Dagbhort Campbell) to discuss financing and warranty options. Deb was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain all of the available coverage plans. She helped us understand not only the extended warranty we were interested in, but also several additional protections we hadn't previously considered. She put together a package that provided excellent value and fit comfortably within our budget. We expected to return on Monday to pick up the vehicle after it arrived. However, Monday morning we received a call that the dealership they were trading with had unexpectedly sold the vehicle that had been promised to us. Naturally, we were concerned, but Jordan immediately assured us they would make it right. And they did. The entire team spent the day locating another vehicle that matched exactly what we wanted. We didn't have to do a thing. In fact, the replacement vehicle came with additional features that made it more expensive than the original one. Even so, Jordan and Mike told us that because the situation was not our fault, they would honor the original agreed-upon price. That level of integrity and customer service is rare and greatly appreciated. They even tracked down an accessory we had discussed purchasing separately and had it waiting for us when we arrived. The updated paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently, making the entire process seamless. We brought our son along, as this vehicle was for him, and he had no idea we had already completed most of the purchase. The vehicle was washed, ready to go, and they even let him take a quick test drive before signing the final documents. It was a special moment for our family. We truly could not be happier with the team at Napleton Valley Hyundai. Every person we worked with listened to our needs, communicated honestly, and went above and beyond to overcome unexpected obstacles without creating any stress for us. This was a genuine team effort, and it showed every step of the way. Napleton Valley was not the first dealership we visited during our search, but they were by far the best. 2024 Toyota Tacoma review
For a non full size pickup it seems pricey, but then again full size truck prices are ridiculous. The interior is really nice, spacious and well built. The truck handles incredibly well, and the 4 cylinder turbo has plenty of power. I was impressed with it's 6,000+ towing power. The exterior is mean looking and looks great heading down the road. I bought a SR model because I need a truck, not something full of options. The only downside is the box is smaller and holds a lot less than a full size and the Toyota sense safety is a bit much. I know it's there for a reason but it can be confusing.

2023 Ford Maverick review
Got my XLT with black appearance option in may of 2023. Well worth waiting for 8 months. Have had the best luck with this truck. Have 28,000 miles and main battery just got replaced under warranty. None of those recalls ever pertained to this truck. Couldn’t be happier with this truck. Non plug in Hybrid . Great city mpg and rides great. Recommend to anyone wanting a small truck.

2021 Jeep Gladiator review
We special ordered a Jeep Galdiato Rubicon in 2021 and loved it. Our only problem was it didn't leave much space in the garage. We decided to trade it for a special ordered Jeep Wrangle 4dr. 2023 Toyota Tacoma review
Purchased this truck for it's reliablity.Opted for a SR5 trim because it's not lifted nor branded with stickers. Have 44-k miles now. No issues. Just scheduled factory maintenance. I plan to run this truck well over 300-k miles. Is it perfect? No. The engine is somewhat lack luster, the gas milesage is just okay and the interior is somewhat small compared to a full size truck. however,However, I trust this truck to serve me well into the future without any major issues.

2021 Toyota Tacoma review
For the size of motor it's surprisingly powerful. The transmission is smart and performs when needed, use the manual shift when needed. The ride is smooth, the suspension superior on the freeway handling anything I ask of it nicely. Off road it has traction features galore, nothing left for complaints. Best truck I ever owned.

2021 Toyota Tacoma review
My 2021 SR5 Tacoma is louder on the inside than my 2006 Tacoma was after 137,000 miles. Would seem like there wasn't as much sound deadening material installed for increased profits. Exterior lighting was also via halogen or incandescent bulbs rather than LEDs; another profit pinch.

2003 GMC Sonoma review
Recently purchased a used 2003 GMC Sonoma with the ZR-2 package. This review is based on when the truck was made and not comparing it to today's trucks since it is 9 years old and things have changed a lot in 9 years. Currently the truck has 108,000 miles and runs like a champ. It gets driven 300 miles a week commuting to work and my car is driven on the weekends unless truck is needed for work around the the house. Like all older GM vehicles, as long as they are maintained and taken care of, they will run forever. My Sonoma is no different. Runs great, still putting out solid power from the 4.3 V6, and gets decent mileage for a truck at 17MPG. A K&N Cold Air Intake is installed and does provide smoother running and slight bump in power. There are the normal cracks, creaks, and rattles that happen over time since the interior is really just cheap plastic. Besides that it rides well with the larger 31" tires and is great off road. Normal repairs such as bushings, tie rods, UV joints have been done. Ride can be bumpy at times but it is a truck and rides as expected. Besides the cheap interior build quality, this is another example of a quality GM truck that when taken care of, will run well and will be reliable for many more miles as I expect to reach at least 150,000 miles with my ZR-2. This is my second S-10 as previous truck was a 1992 with the Tahoe package. These trucks are priced well at the time of this review and are cheap and easy to maintain. The ZR-2 package also adds a nice unique look to the truck.
