As a regular customer at the service department I always ask for the consistently courteous and flawless management of my vehicle requests by Oscar Galatia. Under Oscar’s guidance from his earliest work with Autobarn Mazda of Evanston to date, I never have had to return to him with a complaint that the work had been done poorly, with mistakes made, or required work not having been done at all. Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. I suggest that management do whatever it can to retain the services of its multi-talented and perceptive Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. Purchased a used Audi 8L sight unseen. Bill indicated it was excellent, like perfect and he new the owner and traded it for a different car. I searched many sites for a lower milage vehicle. This one was higher priced but lower milage and pics looked great. It arrived as promised withing a few days of the purchase and wire. Have had the car a few weeks, it does look perfect and runs perfectly. I haven't driven many miles, but am happy and expect it will last many years.
