2023 Chevrolet Equinox review
I didn’t think I would ever trade in my Honda Ridgeline Trailsport, but when it went down, my rental was a 2025 Equinox. I was very impressed with it and prompted me to stop into a local GMC/Chevy dealership and found a beautiful 2023 Chevy Equinox RS just traded in after a 3 year lease on it was up, so the upkeep and general maintenance was important to me, and well kept by an older gentleman who traded it in and bought another New one! Call it faith that it was the same color as my Honda truck in Iron steel grey with the black edition badges and rims too, same as my Ridgeline Trailsport! Took it for a test drive, the rest is history! I was so impressed with the driving, comfortable interior cabin, infotainment screen package, as smooth of a ride as it was, and all easily accessible buttons at your fingertips. The powerlift gate is a nice touch too, amazing! The only possible setback is going from a V6 to a 4 cylinder, so the power lacks a little as expected but is nice at the gas pump! Overall I’m pleased and would recommend this SUV to anybody or family! Test drive and you’ll be impressed as well! And it’s a Chevy! Nice job GM !

I want to provide some feedback on an awesome sales consultant (Berlin McKay). It has been about 9 years since I was looking at vehicles and really hated talking to sales personnel and being able to believe/trust them. BUT, I had the best experience while looking at different models of Toyota's. Berlin was patient, respectful and kind through the whole process. It's been a while since I've met such a genuine "Good Guy"! Berlin assisted me in the whole process and was patient even when I didn't have all the details, paperwork and answers. He assisted me with cleaning out my Highlander, no matter how long it took. I remembered: my Highlander's title was in my gun safe, no problem, right? I haven't accessed it for over a year. The lesson is: make sure the battery is changed out yearly! This whole process, experience impressed me and I would recommend Berlin and CMA Martinsburg to anyone. At this time, I really wanted to express the Sales Consultant knowledge with the business, product and paperwork was great! Everyone was awesome from the first visit to the end. I am enjoying my Tacoma TRD Sport!!! What a great experience!
2016 Chevrolet Equinox review
I’ve had a great experience with this car. It’s reliable, comfortable, and easy to drive on a daily basis. The engine runs smoothly, transmission shifts without issues, and maintenance costs are reasonable. Interior is practical and comfortable, and overall the car meets expectations very well for everyday use. I would definitely recommend it.

This was the first time that I've used CarMax... always felt that the "no-haggle" thing was just a grift. It's not. Very fairly priced car in pristine condition. They even transferred it for free. Transaction was relatively quick and painless as well. They were even able to take care of the REAL tags and title there as well. If you do your pricing research, they are most definitely an option. And thankfully there was no sleazy salesman vibe or upwelling. Would gladly use them again. Oh, and they actually FILLED the tank, which USED TO BE commonplace, and I didn't have to ask.

What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
2022 Chevrolet Equinox review
this is my 3rd Equinox. I drove the prior 2 about 90,000 miles and had no repairs - very reliable. I have 25000 on this one - no problems - a comfortable drive. 30-32mpg on a trip and 26mpg around town. mine has heated seats and dual climate controls/ both work well

2023 Chevrolet Equinox review
I have done several long trips, 2 cross-country trips and in town commuting. It is a smooth comfortable ride, easy layout for gauges and controls, roomy, holds tons of cargo, and has great fuel economy (I have gotten up to 38 mpg on the highway going 70mph). All of these were listed in the "bad"- and this has not been my experience. Furthermore, my dad was side-swiped hit and run on the 210 freeway at 80 mph in his equinox and it took it like a champ. It is an easy smooth ride, I feel safe. I strongly recommend this vehicle- really the best bang for the buck- you get way more than you pay for.

2018 Chevrolet Equinox review
2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

2022 Chevrolet Equinox review
At first we were looking at the Trailblazer. Then we saw the Equinox on the lot, and we took it for a test drive. Once we were inside my wife said this is it. The vehicle was very comfortable, roomy and had very good performance. We've had this vehicle for over a year, we have drove it to Los Angeles twice from San Francisco and the gas mileage is phenomenal. I can go from San Francisco to LA on one tank of gas. In San Francisco, the hill assist is very useful. I am pleased with my vehicle and expect to use it for the next 10 years.

2022 Chevrolet Equinox review
Purchased brand new 10/22/22 Malcom Cunningham Augusta Ga. Shot out Travis. On my 2 car’s Equinox & Malibu 22. I love my Equinox LT blue metallic color. Great on gas. Love the app & key fob for remote start. I have everything but. Heated steering wheel, leather seats & I’m ok with that. I get a lot of compliments about how nice the cars are. I gave the Malibu to my 36 yr old son and he loves it. No problem with it. My equinox when it’s really cold in Ga. It will malfunction with some features. Long story short. I looked at recalls and it’s quite a few. But nothing about features messing up.

2022 Chevrolet Equinox review
I want people to know what a great buying experience I had at this dealership. I contacted 4 dealerships about 4 different cars, and Yassin F. was the only one that contacted me by phone, instead of a "canned" email. Yassin was so helpful and ran all over this large dealership (in the rain) to make sure things were just right. I would use Yassin again 100%. I've had my fwd lt for a few months now. Great car. At first I thought it was a bit underpowered, but it more than makes up for it in fuel economy. Clean interior, not too many buttons and the standard screen is small but really intuitive to use. Overall an excellent vehicle that fully meets my needs

2025 Chevrolet Equinox review
I love my Chevy Equinox. It's so much easier to shift than my previous 2024 GMC. I hated having to reach over to pull levers in the middle of the GMC. My new car shift lever is right in front of my eyes and so much safer. I love the "real" rearview mirror. It took a little time to get used to it, but it helps so much to see everything near and far. The adaptive cruise works great. I don't have to step on the brake and re-set whenever the vehicle in front of me slows. One doesn't realize how nice that is until you're on the highway for any length of time. I think a woman must have designed this vehicle! No wonder it's perfect!

I've had one major issue with this car and it's concerning an air conditioning drain hose. I've had to have it drained and unclogged twice in 5 years. It has spilled water all over my floorboards and shorted out my radio and to me that is a design flaw in the car. I've never had any other car do that to me

2023 Chevrolet Equinox review
Owner of a 2020 Model for 3 yrs. We only bought it because of the color. Crimson Cayan Metallic. Black Interior. Ours is an LT FWD model. It has a few options which I'm going to say were nice but coming from a Cadillac as a daily driver, it still lacking certain touches my 08 DTS had. Heated Steering is almost a absolute requirement these days. Northern Midwest winters while fairly mild can pack a bit of punch sometimes. But this car had heated seats so i forgave it's fault this time and just bought driving gloves. Its reliability is unfaltering. I'm only at 52K and just now starting to look for tires and brakes for it. I feel like i have driven the wheels off this thing for $30 a week and regular oil changes. Android Auto has been a has been a gift. what system integration. We are on the hunt for a newer model now with more toys in it. But we have decided to keep the Equinox as a backup car. She wont let me Let her go.

Made the whole process as quick & easy as possible. We live 2hrs away from dealer location & I had been exhaustively car searching & kept going back to a specific vehicle at Auto Nation. The deal felt too good to pass up. I work full time & have small children, so I am not the best at communicating especially over the phone. They were patient with me communicating with me over text & always responded quickly. I did shop around for financing options but with a quick online form & a super brief phone call, they took care of my financing at a good rate.. maybe not the best, but frankly the convenience of it all was worth it. We last minute headed to the dealer (with our small kids) late afternoon & did not arrive until a little after 6pm (they closed at 7pm). The vehicle was pulled up front & ready to test drive, instantly loved it. I never felt rushed even though we ended up being there until after they closed. The physical location was very clean, my kids made themselves right at home. Everyone we had interactions with was very friendly & helpful. They made things at quick as possible, we sealed the deal & off we went!

2025 Chevrolet Equinox review
The 2025 Equinox is a good solid SUV. My only complaint is it has electronic problems. Every time I take it in the dealer says that no codes can be found? It starts by itself! The engine surges when you are stopped at a light or stop sign, in the past month it surges as you apply the breaks to stop. Happens randomly, You never know when it will happen. Compass has quite working, speed zone indicator has gone out and the message that tells you that your phone is in the charger has disappeared! Other than the above issues the 2025 Equinox is great. 😊

I'm not a person that is in the habit of leaving reviews. Mainly because the customer service I receive most places isn't worth me taking the time to write a review, but this dealership is the exception in every way. There is no way I could not write a review. This review is a little long but if you're considering purchasing a Nissan you want to read this review. I just purchased a 2022 Nissan Versa from this dealership. It was important to me to purchase the car this weekend because I needed it to travel out of town this coming week. I live in Baltimore MD and originally planned to purchase the car in Baltimore. I had been told by a local Baltimore dealer he would have a Versa on his lot by Friday 3/4/2022. I planned to be there bright and early the morning of the 4th to pick it up. However, the evening of the 3rd, the salesman called to tell me the ETA had changed and it would be another week before the Versa would arrive. I was so disappointed because I could not wait another week, I needed a car now. Plus I was sick of car shopping. I knew what I wanted and I just wanted to buy my car and be done with the whole process! It had taken me a long time to find that car and I knew it wouldn't be easy to find another one that would be available immediately due to the car shortage. And I was right. I couldn't find another Versa in the entire state of MD so I started searching in VA. I called several dealerships in Va, but no one had anything in stock. The earliest ETA I was given was mid April. I was starting to give up hope of finding my car this weekend. Just when I had almost given up hope, I got a call from the Sales Manager Muhammed known as Mo. of Passport Nissan on South Pickett St. Mo told me he had been told by one of his salesmen whose name was also Muhammed that I was looking for a Versa. I said yes I am. He said, well I have one in stock. I said, when you say you have one in stock does that mean its on your lot? He said yes mam I'm looking at it! Then I asked him for an out-the-door-price. The price he gave me was $1400 less that what the dealer in Baltimore was going to sale it to me for! When he gave me the out-the-door price I almost screamed! And when I got off the phone I did scream! I knew I was being ripped off by the Baltimore dealership but I really wanted the car right away so I was willing to pay, but God had other plans! I am a strong woman of faith. I believe God let the ETA change at the Baltimore dealership to lead me to Mo! Mo did not rip me off. He was very honest and fair in his pricing. After he gave me the price I said hold that car don't let go to anyone else and that's exactly what he did! But that's not all he did. When I told him I was traveling from Baltimore to Va by train to pick up the car, he had Muhammed the Salesman drive all the way from the dealership to Union Station in Washington DC to pick me up, IN MY NEW CAR!!!! I was so excited!! Muhammed was very kind. He not only picked me up but let me make a stop on the way back to the dealership. We talked and laughed all the way back. And once I arrived at the dealership I was treated like a queen. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. This dealership is a true example of what it means to not only provide excellent customer service but to also go the extra mile in every way. Honest fair pricing, and excellent customer service! I am so impressed with their service I am considering driving to Virginia to have my car serviced there instead of in Baltimore where I live. 2018 Chevrolet Equinox review
After 4 years and 32K miles its been extremely reliable (tire sensor replaced), not a single rattle, and contrary to some replorts the 1.5L is more than adequate (cruse all day @ 80 MPH.

They didn't markup the price like so many dealers do once we arrived, it was the advertised price, tax, title and processing fee out the door. It's always nerve-racking buying a vehicle over the phone and not being able to test drive first. Schyler made sure to inspect it thoroughly and let me know of the few minor cosmetic issues it had. 2018 Chevrolet Equinox review
Glad I bought the premier model with all the “bells and whistles”. Suggests for improvement : Automatic folding side mirrors when parking Locking gas cap More staffing and customer friendly service for guaranteed warranty issues. (I was told 3 week wait for appointment followed by leaving the vehicle for another three weeks to check an engine light problem. Why couldn’t the service dept call me when ready instead of leaving the car for three weeks with no replacement vehicle?) The desk person suggested I take it elsewhere where the warranty wouldn’t be honored!

2023 Chevrolet Equinox review
The equinox is very nice for the price. My biggest complaint is has a horrible suspension. I even lowered air pressure in the tires below the recommended pressure and the ride was no better. You feel every little bump in the pavement.
