Used 2014 Ford Escape SE for sale near me

Bought my 2014 in Oct. 2013. Have had problems with rear brake callipers but no other problems. It have 2.0 eco boost. Very responsive. Fuel economy hyw. 7.8litres/100 km city 11.8 l/100km. Road noise and back seat are my only complaints

This vehicle was my sons first car that he saved up and helped pay for. The performance material on seats was nice to have the heated seat option with it. My son totaled his Escape after rear ending a car at a red light going over 45 mph. The car kept him safe and he walked away with no injuries. I was impressed with how safe this car kept my son and am thankful. We had no mechanical issues during the time he was driving it before the accident. It was fairly expensive for a small used car but it is mighty.

The sales associate I working with was great, very accommodating as I had children with me. It was a bit difficult because they were renovating at the time I was there and they usually have a kids area. I?m sure it will be a little easier when everything is finished. The only slow part was actually signing the papers for the vehicle purchase because the business office was behind and what was originally predicted to me to take one hour took almost 2.5 hours.

My 2014 Ford Escape has engine problems with the timing chain and other things that massed my engine 😑 if you have a recall on the 2014 I would like to know about . I really loved my vehicle but now I am with it. I still owed the bank money for it and the bank doesn't want the vehicle. I don't know what to do about it. I am buying a used car after 8 years, and this was great experience. No haggle is what I care. I was not forced to buy GAP insurance or anything else. The only complaint is, the lady taking down payment at the cashier was hesitant to tell me the details of the transactions before making a payment and showing attitude, but everyone else was great. I have never gotten the fuel economy that was on the sales sticker. At 53,000 miles the body control module dies along with the battery. My husband and I have been a Ford Family, even convincing the rest of our family to buy Fords, but it can take 2-6 months for Cord to get this part in and over $1300. For repair once it’s in.

I bought my Ford Escape new in June, 2014. As of June 2022, all I have had to replace is the battery, and tires. I will admit that it only has 79,582 miles on it, but I have driven it on several vacations. I have not had an issue, until this past April, when my check engine light came on with the power steering light. I read the manual and it stated to turn the car off, then back on, to see if the light went out, which it did. I had a diagnostic run and it did not show any issues. It did happen again today. I turned it off and back on, the light is off, my power steering is working.
