Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

Amos provided great customer service and answer all my question and work with me in what exactly i needed to have the proper repairs for my vehicle. He was great at keeping communication and saw result the next day for my car!

Best car I’ve ever owned. Does everything I want//need it to do. Always starts in the morning. I’ve been camping with it and slept inside the car. Plenty of room

I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

I am happy with everything about my explorer. Get good gas mileage and is very comfortable ride. Traded my 2020 for this 2022. Love the color and have gotten lots of compliments.

I upgraded from a 2017 Explorer Sport to a 2025 Explorer ST. It handles better. It sounds better. It is faster. The interior is way better. The seats hug you. The infotainment system is fast and works really well.

Arrived at 1109a and was driving off the lot in my “new to me” car at 12:35p. I had a rough first experience at Mac Haik Chevrolet’s service department, but Brian Caldwell, the Service Director, completely turned things around. He personally followed up the same day I voiced my concerns, sent a mobile tech to my house to handle the software update, and later arranged for a porter to deliver a loaner and pick up my truck for a roof recall and additional service. They performed every repair as promised—on time—including the roof fix, oil change, tire rotation, and a minor interior issue. Brian kept great communication throughout, even with our busy schedules, and treated my time and situation with real respect. What started as a frustrating experience turned into one of the best service recoveries I’ve ever seen. Huge thanks to Brian, his team, and Mr. Mac Haik. This is how a dealership should be run.

Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

Driving experience is great. Either engine is plenty of power but even the base 2.3l is very fast. Rear wheel drive bias is noticeable in driving dynamics making it fun to drive. The new Google based infotainment system one of the best in the industry in my opinion.. Almost don't even need a phone with how smart it is. Blue cruise is very convenient for long monotonous highway drives if equipped

This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

As with many auto dealership experiences, my interactions with Shottenkirk Nissan had its ups and downs. However, I am giving 5 stars because there were two people that made the experience that good; our salesperson, Sommer, and the GM, Harmon. These two went above and beyond to answer questions and make us feel like our business was important to them. I highly recommend visiting the dealership to purchase from Sommer. She never pressured us or made me question whether she would just say whatever I wanted to hear to buy a car. She was honest, polite, and helpful. That is something that most salespeople lack greatly. Harmon assisted in the finalizing of the deal by being genuinely helpful during trade in process and answering all of our questions accurately about fees and taxes that appear on the buyers order. Love this vehicle!! Went from 2013 Chevy Malibu to this 2019 fully loaded Ford Explorer. Love the navigation, hands free phone, auto bright lights and Windsheild washer, remote start, sun roofs, back up camera, luggage racks, hitch andtowing capabilities, 3rd row seating and stowing, the Ford app, the Ford warranty, leather heated seats and steering wheel, and all the safety and other luxury accessories.

They were great have great customer service and my service Advisor Anthony Torres was the best. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied.
