This review is for the service department- especially Noah Hernandez (but also for Michael). We recently brought our 2018 GMC Acadia down for oil charge and asked them to look at the AC system as it had been struggling in the recent heat wave.A few other items were discovered during the process that would’ve added up to around $6000 out of pocket if we hadn’t had a warranty in place.Originally Michael was helping us but handed us off to Noah as he had a family emergency pop up. Noah was outstanding in handling our service and especially in dealing with our newly acquired extended warranty policy. He got our claim going and was very communicative with us and also with the warranty group. I’m sure we were kind of annoying sometimes but he took it all in stride and explained and handled everything. Thanks for all your help, Noah!
2025 GMC Sierra 1500 review
Let me start by saying I have the AT4 model with the Duramax 3.0L diesel. I had a 2024 Elevation with the 5.3L V-8 that I bought to pull my 22’ camper. While the Elevation pulled my camper fine it drank the gas like it was on a binge. And with a 26 gallon gas tank it seemed I was filling up every couple of hours. After one trip to Nova Scotia I knew something had to change. I pulled my camper out west to Yellowstone and back through Arizona. It pulled like a champ and fillups were a lot more manageable. Even driving the speed limit out west I still got four to five mpg better than with the gasser. I liked the Elevation but I love the AT4. Way nicer ride and great handling. I get 30 per gallon of diesel on the highway if I drive the speed limit but I got it to tow with. I added a Titian replacement fuel tank so I have 43 gallons instead of the 26 it came with.

We really didn’t know what our options were or if there was even a realistic way out of the situation. From the very beginning, Austin was incredibly patient, honest, understanding, and genuinely interested in helping us figure out what would work best for us. We never felt pressured, rushed, or like we were simply another sale. One thing that especially stood out to us was how patient he was while we figured out what we actually wanted. We initially came in with one type of vehicle recommended to us, but ended up looking seriously at three completely different options. Not once did Austin try to push us toward one over the others or make us feel like there was a “right” choice he wanted us to make. Instead, he took the time to go through each vehicle with us, explain the different features and specifications, and honestly discuss the pros and cons of each one. He gave us the information we needed and then allowed US to decide what fit our needs best. That kind of honesty and no-pressure approach meant so much to us. In the end, they were able to help us get out from under the Jeep and into a BRAND-NEW Chevy Equinox that we absolutely love! Not only did we end up with a new vehicle, but we were also able to get several upgrades, additional warranties, and extra protection that gave us so much more peace of mind going forward. It is hard to explain the relief of walking in feeling trapped by a vehicle that had become such a financial and emotional headache and walking out in something brand new that we felt comfortable and confident in. Gifford was wonderful as well when it came time to finish the financial side and paperwork. He was patient, thorough, and took the time to explain everything to us. We never felt like papers were just being put in front of us to sign. We appreciated knowing what we were agreeing to, what was included, and what protections we had. What meant the most to us throughout the entire experience was simply the way we were treated. They understood that this wasn’t just about us wanting a new car. We needed help getting out of a situation that had become a real burden for us, and they treated that situation with patience and understanding rather than judgment or pressure. We walked into Walt Massey worried about what we were going to do and walked out with an enormous weight lifted off our shoulders—and a beautiful new Chevy Equinox! We are incredibly thankful to Austin, Gifford, and everyone at Walt Massey of Hattiesburg who helped make this possible. The patience, honesty, transparency, kindness, and genuine effort they showed us throughout the entire process is something we will not forget. If you are looking for a dealership where someone will actually LISTEN to your situation, give you honest information, let you consider your options without pressure, and genuinely work to help you find what is right for YOU, I cannot recommend Walt Massey of Hattiesburg enough. Bought a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica 3 years ago from Drivers Mart in Sanford. We purchased an extended warranty. No costs other than gas and oil changes the entire three years. Suspected the oil cooler was going which seams to be a common problem with the v6 Pentastar engine. Taking the car to Drivers Mart Winter Park service department, they replaced the oil cooler and other items in the motor they found needing attention. Johnathan and his mechanics did a great job. The warranty service only paid for a few items but the outcome was worth the money I spent. The car drives great without issues. It’s been a very positive experience since purchase and I have to say I’m very happy with the outcome of the repairs completed by the service department.
2025 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I have the 1500 double cab with standard bed. The reason I have this vehicle is I really like the 6.5 foot bed. The crew cab with same bed is just too long. The things I dislike about this model is that it only comes in the SLE model. For the 2025 that means the external mirrors do NOT have a power fold in and it does not have a seat memory for more that one driver. The power fold in for the mirrors is extremely important to me.

2025 GMC Sierra 1500 review
Overall I am very happy with my new Truck. GMC however needs to address their software glitch where the display screen intermittently stops working or the audio cuts in and out. I keep hearing a software update is being worked on but that was a while ago?
